Dishonored 2 The first big update for Dishonored 2 brings in a lot of fixes and new game plus to Dishonored 2 so you can choose just how the game plays out yet again Hopefully by now you have had the chance to play and experience Dishonored 2 at least once by now. At least that is the hope for most of you from not only myself but the team over at Arkane Studios. The reason for that is the fact that the first major update for Dishonored 2 has just dropped for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game and will be bringing us all New Game+ in the mix. Friday The 13th New gameplay for Friday The 13th: The Game has been showcased from the beta as well as stats for Friday The 13th's counselors and Jasons that we will get to play The beta for Friday The 13th: The Game has finally kicked off for friends and family with the game's backers getting a chance to join in here real soon. Not only will it give us all a taste of what a closer to final version of the game will play like, even though we will be facing off against Illfonic who know all the little tricks in the game already, but we will finally be getting some solid explanations on how some of the gameplay mechanics work in the game. King's Quest We sit down and review King's Quest: The Good Knight. This is the fifth episode of The Odd Gentlemen's reboot to the famed franchise from Sierra Entertainment. Here's our review of King's Quest: The Good Knight It seems like it took forever to get to, but we are finally here and we have the final episode of King's Quest and the epic conclusion to the story we've slowly been living out over the last year. That is one of the huge issues with episodic titles but The Odd Gentlemen made it to the end and we can all see how they did with the reboot to Sierra Entertainment's huge franchise. The Walking Dead Details on how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will carry over all the saved data from the previous The Walking Dead titles has been detailed out a bit more It feels like it was waiting until the last minute, but as it looks we have a clue as to how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be keeping our saved data from the last two seasons to bring it all over when we spin up the new episodes on December 20th. The Surge More gameplay for The Surge has been released to give us a look at some of the systems in The Surge during the pre-alpha phase of it all It is always a nice day when we get more gameplay for any video game and here we go with more for The Surge. Sure this isn't the first bit of gameplay that we've seen for the game but it is the most recent given to us from Deck 13 and to show off some of the game's mechanics that may not have been focused on during Gamescom or E3 in the past. Nintendo The Japanese version of Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios now has an opening window for when fans can experience Nintendo like never before If you are one of those gamers who like to plan ahead then get your planner out right now as it looks like Super Nintendo World will be coming at us sometime before the Summer of 2020. At least to the Universal Parks in Japan as it has been announced that the aim is to get the addition built, staffed, and open before the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The Walking Dead The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been placed out there and it shows more of The Walking Dead's characters are going to crossover This week marked the break of the TV version of The Walking Dead and next week we get to go back into the world with The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's first two episodes of the season. It's almost as if Telltale Games planned all of this out to happen this way. Friday The 13th Another classic character from Friday The 13th lore has made their way into Friday The 13th: The Game and maybe in a way to permanently take down Jason It is always a good day when we get a new update for Friday The 13th: The Game and that makes today awesome. DOOM The fifth free update for DOOM is here and it brings in some new modes to DOOM's multiplayer among many other updates for the game now Hopefully you weren't thinking of putting DOOM for a bit to give some of these other great games a chance. If you were then you are going to be a bit sore with id Software as they have just released yet another Free Update for the game and it brings a whole new multiplayer mode and the ability to reach the rank of Echelon 11 in the game. It's almost like they don't care about the other titles that Bethesda has brought us and want us all to stay focused on DOOM for as long as they want. Not that this is a bad thing, but there are only so many hours in the day and some of them need to be dedicated to keeping one's being up and in the land of the living. Read More...

Uncharted At PSX it was shown that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was going to be coming as a massive story DLC bit for Uncharted 4 to carry it on just a little further If you were able to catch anything out of PSX then you know that it all started off with a bang with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy getting shown off. Some thought it could have been another Tomb Raider thing and a few other ideas were floating around but none the less Naughty Dog is bringing yet another great experience to the PS4 with this extra bit of DLC. That's right, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is some DLC for Uncharted 4 in the end; but it is the biggest story DLC that the developers have ever put out and it will keep you playing the final game just a bit longer so that is all good. South Park A new trailer for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has released, instead of the game, and it looks like we can see the South Park mission that starts it all I know I am not alone when I say I'd like to be playing South Park: The Fractured But Whole as of right now. Yesterday (12/6) was the original release date for the game and now we sit and wait for the new date to even be announced for some time in "Early 2017." This is just how video games go sometime and hopefully all of this waiting means that Ubisoft is more about getting us a great game instead of padding numbers for the year. One can hope and I know that I still have high hopes for South Park and am glad to see that we have a new trailer to look at instead of the game that we should have had. Read More...
