Marvel’s Deadpool VR Offers Up A New Contract For Our Story
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 29th of August 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Deadpool Fans of Deadpool have another weird story on the way to us all when it comes to Marvel’s Deadpool VR It's story time out here for Marvel’s Deadpool VR. Well, at least a bit more to the story that Twisted Pixel Games is working on and willing to toss our way during Gamescom. Even if it is still jarring to hear different voices bringing the Merc With A Mouth to life. That is a whole different topic now, especially since the story also gives us another massive voice talent in the mix, and various other characters we are going to see in the game. Well, more than Deadpool is going to have to face off with in the game, if you take the story at face value. Read More...

Things Out Of Gamescom Have Started To Get A Bit More Ferocious
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 29th of August 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Ferocious A new look at Ferocious is here, and we get more of the dino-slaying, human hunting, and other bits of the Ferocious wild Just a bit ahead of Gamescom this year, we all had a bit of a tease for Ferocious. This is the new dinosaur survival title that OMYOG and tinyBuild have been working on for the PC that will have us dealing with the horrors that all would entail. There is more to the story, but you can refer to the previous video for all the details. This new one that we have been blessed with, though, gives us all of the bloodthirsty gore and violence we have been waiting for when it comes to a game called Ferocious. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Thursday, 28th of August 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Star Trek Star Trek fans will have a new title flying their way, with the announcement for Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown We are all going to have a chance to head off into the final frontier with the announcement of Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown. A new title that gameXcite and Daedalic Entertainment announced out at Gamescom this year, and one that will give players on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC a bit more of a taste of what the universe has to offer up. At least in terms of the Star Trek universe, as that is a bit different than the one we currently are surviving out here. That will be part of the game, as we will be taking control of a Voyager-class ship and heading into the great unknown, while also managing so much more than we could imagine, and dabbling in some of the extra "What If" kind of things that could be possible in all of the universes out there. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of August 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Mr Wonder A new horror title, Mr Wonder, is on the way to us with a demo for Mr Wonder and a commentary on our society It feels like it took a bit longer than it should, but here we go with some fun commentary on humanity with a new horror title of Mr Wonder. If the name sounds suspiciously close to some famous YouTuber, there is a reason for that. In fact, Fume Software is making the claim of making a video game that is a horror mix-up of Mr Beast and Squid Games. Even if it does feel like there is a bit more SAW in the mix, from what we have seen so far. Read More...

Mortal Kombat The full roster of Mortal Kombat titles have been announced for the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection So many have been waiting to see all that Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is going to hold, and out of Gamescom, we finally have that answer. Not when we will get to experience this collection of titles on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC, sadly, but the full line-up of titles that Digital Eclipse is going to cram into the package. Many that we already knew with the core Mortal Kombat titles, but now a few more that I am sure no one might have thought were coming. Those two being Mythologies: Sub-Zero and Special Forces. Wander Into The Factory Where Things Started In Cronos: The New Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of August 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Cronos Walk further into the world of Cronos, and see where the horrors started in the universe of Cronos: The New Dawn I was a little worried that Bloober Team was only going to show off a little bit for Cronos: The New Dawn during Gamescom. Something we had when the show first kicked off, but now we are back with even more to get us all ready for the September 5th release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. A whole lot of new gameplay to further immerse us into the world of Cronos and show off where all of the horrors seem to have begun. As long as you are brave enough to enter the Factory here and maybe check out the gameplay to see how things will be different than other games this one has been compared to. Read More...

Thankfully, this new little bit that is hot on the heels from what The Chinese Room gave us is leaning more into us actually getting the game on October 21st for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Even if it does show us yet another of the clans in Bloodlines 2 that we might not be getting with Phyre from the start. Read More...

Directive 8020 Offers A Prologue As We Have To Wait Longer For The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of August 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 New gameplay for Directive 8020 is here from Gamescom, while we have a slight delay for Directive 8020 now I do hope that you did not have your heart set on getting to experience Directive 8020 this coming October, as it looks like there is now a bit of a delay for the game. One that is going to push it into 2026 for an unnamed release date now. That is part of the news that crawled out of Gamescom 2025 and was a little overshadowed by other things. Maybe a good call for Supermassive Games to do that, but worth noting for those who were looking for more horror on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

Black Myth: Zhong Kui Has Been Teased To Carry The IP Further Along
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of August 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Black Myth Fans of Black Myth will be excited to know, we are getting a sequel in the terms of Black Myth: Zhong Kui Talk about a way to shock crowds during the opening of Gamescom this year, by announcing that we are getting Black Myth: Zhong Kui. The next title in the line that won so many awards after Game Science brought it to the world last year. That title being Black Myth: Wukong, if you somehow missed that. It looks as if all of the awards, clout, and praise gamers have given that game made it so a new title could be greenlit. Read More...
