It Is Time To Cut Out All Of Those Extra Pixels In Beneath
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of December 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Beneath The Retro Mode for Beneath is out there to keep us all entertained as we go further Beneath for the season Just as it was laid out there, Beneath has gone a bit further retro for the holiday season to keep us pulled into our PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC. The new and free mode for the game has been launched out there as a nice little holiday gift from Camel 101. It also gives fans of Beneath a reason to do another run through the game and see if they are as good as they think they are. It might not be so easy to line up shots or spot hidden things when we are working with the visuals from the '90s here. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of December 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
They Will Come The gameplay for They Will Come is finally out there so we have a better idea of the exploration They Will Come will offer The announcement for They Will Come does not feel like it was that long ago, and here we are with a look at the gameplay that we can expect in the game. I am not sure why Game Pop just did not wait a little bit longer to hit us with all of the news at one time, but here we are with another PC title to look forward to as we head into the new year. Although you will need to be into those adventure puzzle games that will keep us hiding from enemies, as They Will Come is another in that view of all of that. Just with more steampunk mixed in, it looks like we will have a few moments where we will get to have some massive automatons fight out there. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/15/25 — 12/19/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 20th of December 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we were expecting, this was certainly a full week of video games. Some of it is catching up from all of the big announcements we did have, while also offering up some other games that were left out of The Game Awards, as they would not drive money to the show. Titles like Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival and Painkiller, even if others like Divinity and WARLOCK hit on the harsher themes and mature content in the same ways. It is kind of why you still need some of the mavericks like us out there covering the various video games that are not going to be big news for the "mainstream. Read More...

Ella Mental Comes Alive In A New Deep Dive For Invincible VS
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of December 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Invincible Learn more about the new Invincible character, Elle Mental, as we dive deeper into the world of Invincible VS While Elle Mental was put on display when we had the release date for Invincible VS, that is still April 30th, 2026, we did not have much else go on for the character. She is a new one made just for the game with all of the input from Skybound Games to help shape her, but we learned nothing much beyond that. Maybe some moves and that she will bring more of the power of the elements to the matches, but nothing in terms of who she is within the Invincible universe. Given that the graphic novel's creators were all on board with the first appearance being on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, this is going to be her big debut, so it is time to dive deep into the character and see a whole lot more gameplay to help shape her up. Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival Shows Off How The Sights Are Coming Together
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of December 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Hellraiser A new developer diary for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is out there to help us show how Hellraiser is finally coming to video games One of the more interesting updates we had that was not part of The Game Awards this year had to be from Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. Almost as if the award show was even afraid to touch the topic of the game. Yet Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games carry it all onward to make sure we know what is going on. Perhaps it is due to the graphic nature of the Hellraiser IP, and the awards show did not want to risk losing any of that ad revenue, so they played it safe for themselves while keeping gamers in the dark about it. Tomb Raider: Catalyst Continues The Legends Forward Into The Future
by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 16th of December 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider The next full Tomb Raider is finally announced, with Tomb Raider: Catalyst taking Lara into a bold new direction There was certainly one title that The Game Awards kept teasing us all with, and it turns out it was Tomb Raider: Catalyst. A new addition to the IP with Crystal Dynamics back at it to see if they can bring the goods as we have seen them do in the past. At least in terms of this IP. They have until 2027 to do so, as that is the current window for Tomb Raider: Catalyst to launch on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Monday, 15th of December 2025 - 10:00 PM ]
Star Wars A new Star Wars racing title is on the way to us with the recent announcement for Star Wars: Galactic Racer It does feel like it has been a good long while since we had a racing game set in the Star Wars universe. Sure, there have been a few, and other titles had racing in them, but it looks like we are getting a whole new one to give all of the racing game fans something to look at, too. A new title on the way from Fuse Games and Secret Mode for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC slated to drop in 2026. Reality Is Getting Reshaped, Again, With The Announcement For Control Resonant
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of December 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
Control The world of Control is getting even stranger, with the announcement that we have for Control Resonant coming soon The FBC is back, again, with the latest announcement we have from The Game Awards this year, as Control Resonant is on the way to us in 2026. This is the next in the bigger story that Remedy is telling over all of their games on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A direct sequel to Control and the other bits of story that have gone down in this universe of titles, and one that will not be following one of the main characters we have seen so far. Even if it is one that we have seen to some degree, and followed along with someone close to them. Read More...

Fate Will Finally Be In Our Hands In Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic
by Juliet Meyer [ Monday, 15th of December 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Star Wars A new Star Wars title is on the way, with an era that many have been waiting for within Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic Talk about a massive announcement that happened during The Game Awards this year… Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic is on the way to us and looking to take us all back to the era that so many fans have been missing over the decades. All from Arcanaut Studios and led by Casey Hudson, along with the guidance of Lucasfilm Games to make sure it stays in the Star Wars setting perfectly. I know I lost so much time to the Knights Of The Old Republic when it first dropped out there, and with this being the spiritual successor to that game, I can only see more time going into the IP yet again. This Week In Video Games 12/8/25 — 12/12/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 13th of December 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week has finally dragged itself over the finish line here, and we did end with a rather solid bit for all of our video games. The Game Awards usually does that since the powers that be helped to kill any of the usual conferences we used to have for their own glorification. Ignoring that, we did have a big update for Resident Evil Requiem, She’s Leaving, and Invincible VS out there. Along with many other video games that were not as big as the others, but still worth the time and effort from all of us. Read More...
