Carmageddon A new compilation video for Carmageddon: Max Damage has been released and it shows off some of the things you'll rundown in Carmageddon at launch With Carmageddon: Max Damage coming out here in short order, July 8th, it might just be time to sit back and see just what you'll be running down and killing for fun in the game. Layers Of Fear A new Layers Of Fear experience is upon us as we have the first bit of DLC called Layers Of Fear: Inheritance that will expand more on the original story If you didn't get enough Layers Of Fear back when it first launched and then came to consoles, then it looks like good news is coming for you. It turns out that Bloober Team and Aspyr Media have been working on a bit of DLC for the game and it adds a whole new story into the mix. Yes, we are getting more story for the game as Layers Of Fear: Inheritance is coming this August for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC version of the game and it aims to expand more on the overall story as well as give us a little closure on things…maybe… All we have as of now is that Layers Of Fear: Inheritance will be continuing the story of the original game only that this time it will be from the perspective of the protagonist's daughter. Friday The 13th The virtual cabin for Friday The 13th: The Game is out now and we have a few new looks at the Friday The 13th goodness it contains At the beginning of the week we all got news that Friday The 13th: The Game was getting its virtual cabin soon. Soon as in June 30th. For those keeping track that was yesterday as of this writing and Illfonic has released the codes to the backers of the game so they can take a look at the virtual cabin before the full release later on. the Friday The 13th virtual cabin is still only for the PC version of the game at this point but Gun Media has told us all that it will be the 3D museum for the game's collectibles and other fun Easter Eggs on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. BioShock After many leaks, BioShock: The Collection has finally been announced and now we are getting all the BioShock titles in one location for the current gen Here we go with yet another one of the worst kept secrets in the video game industry as BioShock: The Collection has now been given the full announcement, details, and release date from 2K Games. It only took five different "leaks" and ratings to show up but now we have a nice new collection put together from Blind Squirrel that puts everything in one place for new and old fans alike. All of the BioShock titles bundled up, remastered, and heading out to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13th for $59. Read More...

Detroit A new behind the scenes video for Detroit: Become Human has been released and it takes us deeper into how Detroit is being built to give us a rich experience I won't deny that Detroit: Become Human had me hooked way back when the first teaser for the game popped up as Kara. Hopefully you remember way back when she and the teaser for the game came out when Quantic Dream showed here off last year. It will make the rest of this a bit easier and also make sure you know of one of the other main characters we will be playing in Detroit when it launches on the PS4. Return To Arkham It has just been reported that Batman: Return To Arkham has been delayed with now release date in sight for when we'll Return To Arkham in this collection Back in May we were given a nice little surprise that we were getting a Batman: Return To Arkham bundle. This was a HD remaster of the other two Rocksteady Games titles that never made it to the PS4 and Xbox One. Not only that but the announcement came that Warner Bros. was going to give us this Return To Arkham bundle on July 26th. Read More...

Mafia 3 The pre-order bonuses for Mafia 3 have finally been fully fleshed out this is just what we will be getting for Mafia 3 if we pre-order or by the CE Maybe you remember or maybe you don't but back when Mafia 3's collector's editions was announced we also caught word on the fact that there would be a pre-order bonus. At the time though 2K Games had yet to define out what would be coming in the "Family Kick-Back" DLC and Hangar 13 was just as quiet about that too. Spider-Man During E3 it was revealed that Spider-Man was getting yet another title in the mix but this won't be a Spider-Man game tied into anything but the general lore Another one of the huge surprises out of E3 was the announcement of a new Spider-Man game coming into the mix. Maybe not a huge surprise given the agreement between Sony and Marvel for the IP but the bigger one would be that Insomniac Games is doing the building and that it will not be linked into the new film at all. In fact, this Spider-Man title will be a completely standalone title and unsurprisingly available for the PS4 sometime in the future. How long into the future is of course a good question as this is still a working title for the game but it would make sense to use the synergy of the new film; so maybe July of 2017… Of course as this is just an announcement and a tease for the new Spider-Man title, information for the game is still sparse. The Walking Dead The first teaser trailer for The Walking Dead's third season has been revealed and it looks like The Walking Dead is jumping forward in time but keeping fan favorites If you were able to pay full attention to everything out of E3 then this may be old news to you but for those who were overloaded with news, then you may have missed that The Walking Dead season three is slated to start up sometime this Fall. Not only that but we have a nice little trailer out of Telltale Games and a few little tidbits on the game directly. Given the success of The Walking Dead in general it shouldn't have been that big of a shocker to see the third season coming but in this season it looks like the surprises are more in the game than that it is coming. Styx While at E3 I was able to see Styx: Shards Of Darkness in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Styx: Shards Of Darkness One of the other smaller titles on the floor at E3 that I was excited for was Styx: Shards Of Darkness. This would be the sequel to one of the smaller cult classic titles that Cyanide Studios gave us back in 2014. It is a fun little stealth action title that builds off the story of Styx: Master Of Shadows and from the looks of things builds off the expanded power of the Unreal Engine that they just didn't have before. Thankfully we don't have much longer to wait as the game is still slated to launch later this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Vampyr While at E3 I was able to see Vampyr in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Vampyr In a nice dark room on the E3 floor we were able to spy upon Vampyr in action. For those who still haven't followed along, this is the new title from Dontnod that places us in the middle of the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918 in the role of a doctor who has recently been turned into a vampire. We've had a lot of news on Vampyr so far so hopefully you are up to date but if not then here are our first impressions of the game in action before all of the rest of the information from Focus Home Interactive drops between now and when it launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC next year.
