by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of November 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Maize The release date for Maize has been set and we also have a look at another character joining us in Maize with Vladdy With all of the serious titles coming out here in the next few months it is nice to see something like Maize finally get its time in the sun as it is poised to release on December 1st now. It's been a while since Finish Line Games first showed off anything for the game and now we are set to see it hit the light of day. Originally it was stated as Harvest of 2016 but since the harvest has come and gone it looks like Maize is settling in for a solid Winter release instead. Read More...

Review — Batman: The Telltale Series — New World Order
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of November 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Batman We sit down and review Batman: The Telltale Series — New World Order. This is the third episode of Telltale's take on the Batman franchise. Here's our review on how they did So far each episode of Batman: The Telltale Series has been something insane and exciting. At least the first two have been and now here we have the third episode in the mix. Usually at this point in a season we are in for something truly over the top from Telltale Games in terms of the story. At least that is how their stories usually go and it looks like Batman here should be going along the same path. Read More...

Horizon Zero Dawn Is Looking Even Better On The PS4 Pro Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of November 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn New screenshots for Horizon Zero Dawn have been released showing off about how nice Horizon Zero Dawn is going to look on the PS4 Pro Back in September we were shown a bit how Horizon Zero Dawn will be using some of the new PS4 Pro features to look even better on the system. We were also assured by Guerrilla Games that those who didn't have the Pro or a 4K TV were not going to miss out on much, just some of the great advantages that these displays can give us. Now we have a few new screenshots to look at here to see just about as close as we can to what Horizon Zero Dawn will be giving us on February 28th 2017 given that we have the ability to show it all off as well as it has been crafted. There is still some time for that so don't start to freak out just yet. Read More...

It's Almost Time To Join The Mass Effect: Andromeda Initiative
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of November 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect A new tease for Mass Effect: Andromeda is here and it looks to be building up for yet another the next Mass Effect N7 day next week Who doesn't like a good tease? A lot of people really but that doesn't mean that we don't have another one for Mass Effect: Andromeda just before the big N7 day that we are always made aware of from Bioware. At least that is the assumption here for the latest teaser video for the game that has been put out there. A nice little thing that wants you to join the Andromeda Initiative for Mass Effect while giving us really no clue what is going on. Read More...

Have An Interactive Experience Of Little Nightmares Right Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Little Nightmares A new interactive experience for Little Nightmares has been released online so we can have a small taste of Little Nightmares while we wait Not that long ago we had a nice little teaser for a new game called Little Nightmares. It was nice, short, and gave us a small taste of what Tarsier Studios is aiming to bring us Next year on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It was a nice taste but really only showed Little Nightmares as a platforming title that looks to use a lot of Tim Burton's visuals; at least at first glance. We aren't the only ones who see it this way but that may have been the thought so Bandai Namco has put together a nice little interactive experience for Little Nightmares to give us a better showing. This Week In Video Games 10/24/16 — 10/28/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site What a week in video games we just had huh? So many amazing announcements and updates we had that I am still trying to recover before the Halloween parties get into full swing. It's going to be hard with all the Final Fantasy XV and Resident Evil 7 announcements and videos we had. That is only the tip of it all as Watch Dogs 2 had quite a bit and that isn't even digging into the Dishonored 2 stuff that we had this week. Read More...

It Looks Like Evolve Most Likely Won't Reach Stage 3 Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Evolve We've seen Evolve become something amazing but it looks like Evolve will no longer be changing and evolving as future development ceases If you thought that Evolve going free-to-play was an amazing thing and was going to bolster the player base back up to launch day proportions then you were…apparently wrong. At least that seems to be the case here as 2K Games has taken ownership of the game and Turtle Rock Studios will no longer be updating or tweaking the game from now on. This may or may not change in the future but as of now Evolve is stuck at Stage 2 and most possibilities of updates and Stage 2 coming to the PS4 and Xbox One are all on the back burners now. Batman The next episode of Batman: The Telltale Series is almost here and now we get to see just what is in store for Batman in this episode Tomorrow (10/25) we are getting the third episode of Batman: The Telltale Series and it looks like it is going to be another intense one filled with a lot of dark choices. Just exactly what we all could have hoped for Telltale Games to give us for the middle of the season. It fits on about par with all of the other IPs that they have in the works or we've experienced and it feels just about right for Batman here. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Paragon The next hero for Paragon has been revealed and it looks like a Vampire is joining Paragon for after Halloween The next hero for Paragon has been announced and detailed out and it looks like we are getting a vampire character in the mix just before Halloween here. Yes, Epic Games is still doing their holiday event with all the skins but here we go with a full on hero that fits the holiday and will be sticking around well after it. Well, at least after she comes to Paragon on October 25th during the usual update that we get for the game on the PS4 and PC when it is time to bring out the new characters. I kind of feel like we all should have seen this one coming but we didn't just yet. Read More...

Aragami We sit down and review Aragami. A new stealth ninja game that has a slaying from the shadows again Here's our review of Aragami It's always fun when games sneak out on us and it is even more fun when games like Aragami do just that as that is part of the gameplay. Aragami brings us some great classic gameplay from titles like it as well as a new little story to have fun with. Read More...

The Machines Of Horizon Zero Dawn Are Ever Evolving It Seems
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn A new behind the scenes video for Horizon Zero Dawn is out there to show off more of Horizon Zero Dawn's machines and ecology February 28th is still a ways off for Horizon Zero Dawn to hit the PS4 but it looks like things are still evolving and changing for the game as it continues to be developed. Of course this isn't anything new to the development process but it does look like Guerrilla Games is continuing the evolution of their machines in the game just as nature intended. At least the nature of Horizon Zero Dawn as it looks in the following behind the scenes look at the game where the team goes into detail on how each of the machines has changed over the course of the cycle here.
