Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games That was another great and solid week in video games now wasn't it? We had a whole lot of great and not so great updates for many of the titles we are looking forward to. Yes we did have to see Outlast 2 get delayed and that we will have to pay for the extras on Final Fantasy XV but on the plus side we were able to see amazing things for Hellblade and No Man's Sky. Mafia 3 The next lieutenant of Mafia 3 has been given the trailer treatment and here we get to know Mafia 3's Thomas Burke, the anarchist of the bunch Last week we got to see the Voodoo Queen for Mafia 3 and now this week we get to see the Anarchist in action for the game. This would be the Irish fellow we've seen in the past videos that 2K Games has given us and the most chaotic addition for the bunch. If it hadn't been said already I'd almost be certain that the Mafia 3 scenes we saw at E3 from Hangar 13 would always play out the same way based on his persona. No Man's Sky Another roundup trailer for No Man's Sky has been released and it sums up the four basic pillars of No Man's Sky in one solid place before launch Only a few days until No Man's Sky finally hits the PS4 and PC and I know many of you can't wait. Hells, there are people out there paying obscene amounts of money to play what Hello Games has built for us all because they can't wait. Kind of crazy to think but none the less No Man's Sky still launches this coming Tuesday and we still have some more to see for this procedurally generated title. Paragon The next hero added to Paragon has been shown off and now we can see what to expect from The Fey as she joins Paragon's fight It's crazy to think that it's already been three weeks since the last big update for Paragon and now we have yet another character joining the huge fight in terms of The Fey. This would be the new character coming from Epic Games in the big update here on August 2nd for the game on the PS4 and PC. They are keeping up with it all but they will run out of characters to add to Paragon at some point right? Read More...

Mafia 3 A new video series for Mafia 3 has begun and each looks to let us get to know the lieutenants of Mafia 3 we will be working with and appeasing Way back in June we were properly introduced to the lieutenants that we will be in control of in Mafia 3 when it launches. We had a fun look at how Hangar 13 has set up a pretty dynamic way for them to be integrated into the game as well as a quick overview of their personalities. Of course that is going to play a big part in the overall scheme of Mafia 3 so it would be nice to get to know them a bit more. Darksiders The rumored remaster of Darksiders has now become a reality as the Darksiders Warmastered Edition is heading to current gen systems this October If you were like me and questioning why we had the second Darksiders game remastered and no word on the first title, then you'll be glad to see that we now have the answer. It looks like Nordic Games was having that one remastered as well by KAIKO and now we are on the verge of getting it. I am glad to say that we now have the Darksiders Warmastered Edition announced and coming to our PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, or PC on October 25th of this year. Read More...

No Man's Sky The other three aspect trailers for No Man's Sky crept out on us and now we get to see how No Man's Sky will play in all aspects It looks like I was wrong when it came to the recent intro videos for No Man's Sky that we were getting here. Originally the first one was released by Hello Games with enough time to release one each week up until its August 9th release. I guess it's good for all of us wanting more for No Man's Sky as it looks like the rest of the videos are out there and we get to see just what we are going to get in terms of the core gameplay of the game. Layers Of Fear The launch trailer for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance has been released just before launch and it sounds like we may be able to alter Layers Of Fear through the eyes of a child Next week we get to head back into the world of Layers Of Fear as the new DLC expansion lands on August 2th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This would be the bit of story for the game that has won the hearts of many for Bloober Team where we get to take on the role of the deranged artist's daughter and head back into the house. At least that is the story for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance as the original story was just us playing through as the artist himself and trying to make heads and tails of what was going on. Fallout A new Fan TV series call Fallout: Revelation has a third of its pilot out there and ready for us to see a serious side of Fallout instead of the humor We've all come to love Fallout in many forms. Of course we have the game and there have been a few fun and humorous fan films and web series made but now it looks like we are going a bit more serious as we now have another Fan TV series out of MechanicalCake. Here we have Fallout: Revelation a new serious story in the universe. But let it be known that it is not affiliated with Bethesda directly, yet, as the team is looking to delve into the reason that the bombs were dropped in the Fallout universe and everyone had to hide underground. Evolve A new-ish character is coming to Evolve Stage 2 as one of the original hunters from Evolve is getting a solid makeover for you to earn up to That didn't take too long for the new Evolve to get yet another character update added into the mix. It looks like Turtle Rock Studios is truly behind this IP and don't want it to fall behind like so many other 2K Games titles out there that have. That is all in the past and as we wait for Evolve Stage 2 to hit the PS4 and Xbox One we have a new character joining in the mix for the PC version. The Walking Dead A few new tidbits for The Walking Dead season three from Telltale have come out of SDCC as well as some new screenshots for The Walking Dead's third season It was stated that we would get some more on the third season of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead during San Diego Comic Con and fans were not let down. At least not let down outside of the fact that we were still left with a whole lot to wonder on as we head toward the new season's release and just what has gone on in the game's world since then. Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — A Portal To Mystery. This is the sixth episode of Telltale's take on Mojang's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did The story continues for Minecraft: Story Mode as we have the first episode in the expanded adventure and the sixth episode in the epic tale of Jesse and his crew as they do what is apparently done in Mojang's world. If you are somehow still behind the times though this also expands on the story that Telltale Games has been building up for us over pretty much a year now. I'm still confused as to why they didn't go a solid second season and just have all of this is part of it but they didn't Now let us dig into this new episode of Minecraft: Story Mode before we get bogged down with even more of their great stories and such. Batman A solid release date for Batman: The Telltale Series has been revealed and it looks like the first week of August is when Batman will be taking flight again Last week we were teased with when Batman: The Telltale Series would be coming to us in digital format but we were told that we would get to see a new trailer just in time for SDCC. As they are people of their words over at Telltale Games we now have a released date for the digital version of the game, August 2nd, and a trailer for the first episode of the game. Just the perfect time to bring us all Batman and now we know that we won't have to wait until we get home from the huge convention to give it a play. Read More...

Minecraft The release date for Minecraft: Story Mode's seventh episode has been set and it looks like the world of Minecraft is getting the Tron and Borg treatment The seventh episode of Minecraft: Story Mode, or second in the adventure pass, has a release date set and it looks like it will be July 26th here. On this date we will get to see how much further down the rabbit hole Telltale Games is going to take us into their take on the famed Mojang IP that has a few hits and misses in my eyes.
