Review — Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of November 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Sinner We sit down and review Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption. A boss battler action-RPG aimed at escaping Hell. Here is our review of Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption If you did not think we had enough video games out there to take into the depths of Hell as of late, then let me bring Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption back up for you. This would be the latest title from Dark Star that does that in the way of a Souls-inspired boss battler game. Only this one has a twist where the character we are playing gets weaker as he progresses instead of stronger. Read More...

There Are Always Repercussions In The Dark Pictures’ Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of November 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan A new trailer for Man Of Medan shows off a bit more of the horrors waiting us and also how the story of Man Of Medan will play out and narrated There are still a whole lot of questions floating around out there for Man Of Medan since it was announced, and it looks like we get very few answers in the way of it all with the latest trailer. That is unless your question was along the lines of how Supermassive Games was going to narrate the tales along the way. Based on the latest video we have here for The Dark Pictures – Man Of Medan, it looks to play out just as we have seen in their past title. Read More...

Sir Dan Is Back, Again, As We Have A New Update On MediEvil
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 31st of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
MediEvil A new trailer for MediEvil is here and we finally get to see how the game has been remade since MediEvil first hit the PS1 twenty years ago It is possible to have missed the fact that MediEvil was getting a full remake as it was announced back in 2017 during that year's PSX and originally claimed to be here by 2018. Obviously, as we did not get a date for it this year, it is not coming this year to the PS4. That is okay though as I would rather Other Ocean Interactive to take their time and make a great addition into the MediEvil franchise. Read More...

Review — Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu We sit down and review Call Of Cthulhu. Another tabletop RPG is bringing its fun into the digital side. Here is our review of Call Of Cthulhu Horror games this year seemed to be few and far between when it came to Halloween this year, but thankfully we have Call Of Cthulhu to look for and possibly bring all of those thrills and chills for the holiday. Not only that, but also show off how much work Cyanide Studios put into bringing this tabletop game to life in a digital world. Something we have seen a few times in the past even if they did not pan out as well as we would all hope. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of October 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Such a busy week for video games but we already knew that was coming. Not on the true news and update side of things, but definitely on the release side as Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally here while everyone needs to choose between it and the many other games out there right now. Not to miss the fact that we have video games like Hitman 2 on its way soon and Call Of Cthulhu as well. Or titles like Pathfinder: Kingmaker out there and demanding attention as well. Read More...

What Has Sunk May Rise In Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu A new trailer for Call Of Cthulhu is here to give us all another deeper look at the madness Call Of Cthulhu will bring soon Can you feel the madness rising as we get ever so closer to the release of Call Of Cthulhu? Yes? No? It does not matter as we have a new trailer to look at for the game that shows off more of the insanity that Cyanide Studios has put in this version of the pen and paper game it is all based on. Not to say we have not had some great showing of all of this in the past from Focus Home Interactive, but who can turn down more Call Of Cthulhu without the worry of spoiling too much more of the game in general. That is always a concern when it comes to things like this but we only have to wait a few more days until it releases on October 30th. Read More...

Go Down With The Ship As Layers Of Fear 2 Is Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear A new announcement for Layers Of Fear 2 is here as we finally get to see what a true sequel to Layers Of Fear will actually take on Not that I am surprised by this at all, but it looks like we are officially getting a Layers Of Fear 2 here in the not too distant future. Yes, it looks like Bloober Team is hopping back in the saddle with their horror IP and this time we have Gun Media guiding the way. Another team of people who know how to bring us horror in our video games. Not a bad duo to be on board for Layers Of Fear 2 here with the pun fully intended as you will get as you read further along. Read More...

Review — Pathfinder: Kingmaker
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Pathfinder We sit down and review Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Can they bring the tabletop RPG into a digital world? Here is our review of Pathfinder: Kingmaker It is not the first time, and most likely not the last, that a tabletop game like Pathfinder: Kingmaker has been optioned to head toward a video game side of things. Something that Owlcat Games went out of their way to get funded, started, and then published on the PC. From Kickstarter to landing Deep Silver publishing the game, we are finally at a place where we can play Pathfinder: Kingmaker all by ourselves and not need to schedule a full table to play. Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Has Officially Left Its Beta Stage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Gwent After a long stint in beta, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is now officially released and everyone can enjoy the final form of Gwent on their PC The time has come and now Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is officially launching out there on the PC and will be in beta no more. It is hard to think that it has been in this situation for so long, but it looks like CD Projekt RED has found their game to be ready for the free market out there. Even after so many professional Gwent events that have been run while still in its beta form. I will not knock it, but it seems a bit odd in general. Read More...

Spider-Man Need To Think Less With His Web-Shooter In The New DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Spider-Man Have a small taste of Spider-Man's first DLC and see how Spider-Man will be going after Black Cat and the other extras in The Heist Today marks the day that the first DLC for Spider-Man hits the PS4 and as we all know it will be adding Black Cat fully into the mix. At least for those who opted to buy the Season Pass or are willing to send another $9.99 to Insomniac Games for the DLC. Both solid options, but that is not what we are here for. Read More...

Egress Is Heading Into Early Access Real Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Egress An Early Access for Egress is coming up soon as the console version of Egress looks to be pushed out until 2019 now A new update for Egress is here and it looks like we will be seeing an Early Access for the game here in short order. Short order as in November 8th based on what Fazan Games has to say over on the game's Steam Page. Granted, this also means that you also have to remember what Egress was all about as we have not heard much about it since it was announced earlier in the year. At least not on a larger scale. This Week In Video Games 10/16/18 — 10/19/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of October 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It was a shorter week, for us, in the world of video games but it is now over and we can all kick back and relax with all of those games coming out. Or we can play a bit of catch up on all of the news and updates we may have missed in the week. It is a bit on the hectic side of things in general but at least we have new reasons to play Spider-Man again and know what to be ready for in Hitman 2. Not to mention Call Of Cthulhu and Mutant Year Zero coming up here soon. Read More...

Preview The Madness In Store For Us In Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu One more trailer for Call Of Cthulhu has dropped to give us a taste of what Call Of Cthulhu and what others are already thinking about it Do not expect to see or hear about any delays for Call Of Cthulhu now as it looks like this new title from Cyanide Studios has been set to gold. That is, the game has gone gold and is in the final stages to make sure we all get our copies on October 30th. So, I guess there still could be a delay if the manufacturer of the physical copies of Call Of Cthulhu causes an issue, but that just means you can aim to pick it up on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC through digital means if that is the case and you need some hot Cthulhu loving right away. Round Up The Gang As Red Dead Redemption 2 Launches Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Red Dead Redemption A new, and most likely final, trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 is here to give us a bit more before Red Dead Redemption 2 finally launches The days are ticking down as Red Dead Redemption 2 is under a week out now for us all on the PS4 and Xbox One. It is another exciting time as we have all been counting the days until this game launches and it looks like Rockstar Games took all the time and care to make it another huge title in the mix for us all. Even if it has a whole lot of other competition to work with, it definitely looks like many other titles are going to be set down for Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26th. That is at least how I see it all playing out here soon. Read More...
