Review — A Plague Tale: Innocence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale We sit down and review A Plague Tale: Innocence. A stealth game with a tale of innocence lost and millions of plague rats. Here is our review of A Plague Tale: Innocence The swarm is here as A Plague Tale: Innocence is out there now for the masses to enjoy and see just what 5000 rats on screen can look like when they are tormenting an innocent brother and sister team. That may sound a bit grim, but that is the very basic description of this game from Asobo Studio here even though there is so much more going on with it all. I had a chance to actually sit down and play A Plague Tale to see what other interesting things were in the game along with its stealth gameplay and sling-fling mechanics. Read More...

Review — Fade To Silence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Fade To Silence We sit down and review Fade To Silence. A new survival game that places us in a frozen post-apocalypse world. Here is our review of Fade To Silence The survival game genre has seen a lot of great titles and a lot of mediocre titles fall into it and now we get to see where Fade To Silence falls into it all. This would be the latest title to come out of Black Forest Games with the help of THQ Nordic and is looking to do just that. Fade To Silence will look to us to survive in a harsh and frozen world while trying to keep other horrors at bay. Read More...

MediEvil A new story trailer for MediEvil is here as well as when we should all expect to play MediEvil on our PS4s this coming Fall It was certainly a huge day during the State of Play stream yesterday, as we also had a nice new look at MediEvil in the middle of all of the other great announcements to be had. Say Adieu To Your Opponents As Charlotte Joins Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The next character for Samurai Shodown is here and we get to see how Charlotte comes in and destroys here opponents in Samurai Shodown Another week has passed by and we have one more character revealed for Samurai Shodown with many more to come. Just as it should have been easy to assume, it is another fan-favorite character from the past of the franchise in the way of Charlotte. I am going to go on a limb and guess that we are going to be seeing mostly old characters coming back from SNK, as it has been so long that Samurai Shodown has been silent out there. I could be wrong, but it is not as if the game has had multiple sequels over the past years like other fighters, which would allow them to go out and craft new fighters. Read More...

John Wick Hex Is Announced & Bringing The Character’s Strategies To You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
John Wick A new strategy title, John Wick Hex, is announced that will give you the fun of a strategy game with the gun fu flair of the John Wick franchise It is kind of surprising that a John Wick video game has not been placed out there as of yet as it would seem right for a shooter style game. I know I am not the only one thinking this, but that does not change the fact that Bithell Games is now making one that is outside of the direct shooter genre. In fact, we now have word that we are going to be seeing John Wick Hex out there at some point as an action-oriented strategy game and not specifically a shooter. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]

We have seen a bit of this in the past with other videos that Gunfire Games has put out there for the game, but now we are back with one more solid look at just how it will all look and feel. In this game specifically. Even if the world of Remnant does look a bit like other games that the studio has put out in the past. Read More...

Layers Of Fear 2 Offers Up A Bit More Of The Horror-Filled Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear New gameplay for Layers Of Fear 2 is here to take us through a different part of the ship and see how it differs from the original Layers Of Fear It is always nice to get new gameplay for upcoming titles and we have even more for Layers Of Fear 2 now so we can dissect more and try to figure out what is going on. Well, at least try to as the franchise has always been about the weird, macabre, and unknown since Bloober Team brought the original title to us. I am hopeful that they are doubling down on all of that as we venture on to a ship and take on the role of an actor instead of a painter. Read More...

Monsters Are Lurking Everywhere In A Plague Tale: Innocence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale A new trailer for A Plague Tale: Innocence is out now and shows us more of the true monsters the kids will need to face in A Plague Tale If you have been following along with A Plague Tale: Innocence up to now, then you may already know that there are going to be swarms of rats in the game and it would be easy to think of them as the true monsters of the game. They are out to devour our flesh and hinder all kinds of progress as we have seen in the past trailers. No one would fault you for that line of thinking. Read More...

Walk Deeper Into The Environments Of Control With A New Dev Diary
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Control The latest dev diary for Control is here and goes into more of the environments and dynamic gameplay we should expect from Control It has been a bit since we last had a solid developer diary for Control and I am glad to say that we have a new one to look at here. Sure, we have seen a few things from Remedy directly in terms of gameplay and features we can expect in the game. Usually, it is something mixed into a stream or recycled from old footage, but now we have something new for Control to show off more of the environments in the game. Something that is supposed to be part of this "new weird" the team is aiming for. Read More...

A Plague Tale A new gameplay breakdown for A Plague Tale: Innocence is here to show off more of A Plague Tale as well as how we can aide the duo along In just a few weeks we will be able to sink our teeth and claws into A Plague Tale: Innocence and see how this game truly pans out after so much waiting. I still remember my first look at it all way back when it was a basic dream in Asobo Studio's minds and a basic PowerPoint presentation in a back room at E3. I saw the potential and I am glad that I did as it looks like it is shaping up to be something that could truly be fun and interesting for gaming. Read More...

Things Are Starting To Heat Up As Shiki Joins Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The next character for Samurai Shodown is here and it looks like another blast from past coming from Samurai Shodown 64 The next character for Samurai Shodown is here now as we get to see Shiki come back for this fight now. Yes, it looks like SNK is digging back to the Neo-Geo days and pulling one more character into the modern age for this game. Given how long it has been for a good Samurai Shodown, it will be forgiven. Unlike some of those other fighting games that just keep looking to recycle characters ever release instead of bringing a whole new roster. Read More...
