World War Z The first Big and Free DLC for World War Z is coming in June and looks to add much more replay value to World War Z than before We are quickly coming to the end of May and some of you out there may still be questioning when that DLC for World War Z was going to hit us all. It was stated we should be playing the new Tokyo location and many other things by now and some of us are still looking for Saber Interactive to bring it along. Fear not, as we now know that we will see that mission and many other updates coming to World War Z for free on June 3rd. Just outside of the original proposed "sometime in May," but still not too far off to be upset about. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Brothers Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons is heading to the Switch next week and there is still time and reasons to pre-order Brothers before then If you have been missing out as of late, it looks like Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons is finally making the jump over to the Switch next week. The game has been out there in the wild for quite some time for various other platforms and now it looks like Turn Me Up Games is bringing it over to the mobile platform with a few little extras. Not that Brothers needed them, but I guess you need to throw something out there to entice people to buy a game they have already had many years to experience already. It cannot just be for the new crowd, can it? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Control A new developer diary for Control is here and takes us behind how the sounds of Control have been put together and will always feel new Slowly, but surely, we are getting new information for Control to give us a better idea of what to expect in the game. We have been getting developer diaries for a while now, but none of them have really done a deep dive into what Remedy will have for us when August 27th rolls around. Not exactly at least. We have had a good insight into how Control is being made, and here we are again with more on that and less on the how it will actually play side of things. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown A new fighter for Samurai Shodown is here and it is not a returning character but one that is new to Samurai Shodown in general The next new fighter for Samurai Shodown is here and we are not just talking in terms of announcement. As it looks here, SNK has gone with giving us a new fighter to the IP this time around with so many of the older ones making their way back into it all. We all like the good classics, but it is also nice to get some new blood to play with and spill the blood of others in our games. That is why I am glad to share with you a look at Yashamaru in Samurai Shodown just before launch on June 25th. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of May 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It has indeed been a week of video games here and it has come to a wrap for us again. A well-deserved break for us all to put the brakes on the coverage of things and go back to playing. That or waiting until we get to actually see Bloodlines 2 in action or how that new title in The Walking Dead universe will actually handle. We might even dive back into A Plague Tale to go through all of the things we may have missed in our first play of the game. Read More...

Two More Character Are Slicing Their Way Into Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown Haohmaru and Genjuro are coming to Samurai Shodown as the next roster expansion on the heels of the release date announcement for Samurai Shodown There were quite a few confirmations for Samurai Shodown this week and we are back with two more in the chamber. Two more in the way of two more characters that we will see in the game and get to slice and dice others with. I have a feeling that SNK is looking at the new release date for Samurai Shodown and realizing we need to get the full roster out there, so here we are with word that Haohmaru and Genjuro will be two more of those fighters to grace the scene. A different kind of grace when all is said and done, though. Read More...

Follia – Dear Father Will Have Us All Devolving Further Into Madness With This Announcement
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Follia A new horror title, Follia – Dear Father, is announced and will have us diving into some true horrors while staving off our own “Follia” Madness is a usual and running theme when it comes to horror titles and with the announcement of Follia – Dear Father, it looks like we are getting another in the same vein of it all. Do not take that as a knock on it at all, but given that the title given to the game from Real Game Machine is Italian for madness, you know it is going to be highlighted. Not to mention that it is shown in the announcement trailer we have below for Follia and part of the description Destructive Creations is using to help sell the game. Read More...

Metro Exodus’ Expansion Pass Has Some New Spoiler-Filled Details
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Metro Exodus New details are out there for Metro Exodus’ Expansion Pass and knowing it may spoil your core Metro Exodus experience We now have some new details for the Expansion Pass for Metro Exodus after having a good portion of time to play and experience the core game. Things have been on the limited side of things before now as 4A Games was obviously focused on giving us all a good core gameplay experience and not what would come after. I appreciate that but am also excited to see the reasons why I will be hopping back into Metro Exodus to experience just a bit more. Not just in new weapons and gear but in the way of two big story sections. Read More...

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Brings More Sights To Be Seen
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Ancestors New gameplay for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is here and shows off a bit more on how we will identify things in Ancestors with our babies Here we go with a bit more gameplay for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey today and it is just a nice little bit. I will take everything that we can out of Panache Digital Games here as it has been an interesting concept from day one for me. Especially given the pedigree of the developers in charge of it all. That and the interesting use of the game's world to force exploration in Ancestors. Read More...
