This Week In Video Games 7/23/19 — 7/26/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of July 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have finally recouped a bit from the epic week of SDCC and had a lot to catch up on the video games front. Not only from the event but also from all the stuff that fell through the cracks due to the team being on the ground. That means we were able to come back and see new stuff for Borderlands 3 and Blair Witch. All in time for the release of Wolfenstein: Youngblood while giving out our thoughts on Doctor Who VR and Iron Man VR. Read More...

SDCC Hands-On — Marvel’s Iron Man VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Iron Man While at SDCC, I was able to see Marvel’s Iron Man VR in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Marvel’s Iron Man VR So many were shocked to find out we were getting Marvel’s Iron Man VR and there has been a lot of hype around it after it was announced for the PSVR. That was at least the case for me, so I went on the hunt during SDCC this year to find Camouflaj and give the demo of it all a go. Surprising enough, I was able to do that and hop right into the helmet while suiting up. Read More...

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Shows How Nature Is Cruel
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of July 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Ancestors A new video series for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has kicked off to take us further behind the anthropology we will get to know in Ancestors I hope by now that we all know the basics of what is going on Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey and just how things will evolve as we play. Not just in terms of gameplay, but also the way that Panache Digital Games is going about sharing the experience with us and trying to stick close to the real situations that brought humanity to the place it is today. It looks like Ancestors is going to be much more than a game for us when it launches this year on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Now we get a little bit more of a treat to see just how that will all be. Just How Will The Co-Op Work In Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan New gameplay footage for Man Of Medan shows us just how the co-op mode in Man Of Medan will actually work when we play the game Last week we found out that Man Of Medan was going to have some multiplayer options to the game when it launched. The game will still have its solo mode, but Supermassive Games is giving us a way to play co-op online and with many friends on the couch. Not the big news here. The news we have here is that we now have a look at just how that online multiplayer will work when Man Of Medan launches. Read More...

Sharing May Not Always Be Caring In Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan It has been announced that Man Of Medan, and all of The Dark Pictures Anthology titles, will have co-op and multiplayer to survive the horrors coming with Man Of Medan In an interesting plot twist for Man Of Medan, it looks like the horror title will no longer be a single-player game in general. In fact, it looks like all of the titles in The Dark Pictures Anthology will house multiple ways to play the game besides solo mode. This includes being able to play online and couch co-op for those wondering. Read More...

Batman: Arkham Collection Is Getting Physical… Again
by Julia Schoebel [ Monday, 8th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Batman The Batman: Arkham Collection is re-releasing in a physical form to bring the Batman series to even more gamers across the world Just in time to celebrate 80 years of Batman out there, we are getting Batman: Arkham Collection released yet again. This time in a physical form with a steelbook and with all of the upgrades and fixes that Rocksteady Games put out there when it launched digitally on the PS4 and Xbox One not that long ago. That is right, this is not the first time we all have heard of the Batman: Arkham Collection and now we will have a new option on how to buy it. At least if you are living in the EU region in September or know someone well enough to pick one up and ship it to you. Read More...

It Is Time To Go Far From Home In Marvel’s Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Spider-Man To celebrate the release for Spider-Man: Far From Home, we have a few more suits to put on in Marvel’s Spider-Man This is a big week for Marvel’s web-head with the release of Far From Home and now we have another way to celebrate with Spider-Man on the PS4. In a not too surprising turn of events, it looks like Insomniac Games is placing a few of the new costumes from the film into the game as a free update. Sadly, it will not be all of the new suits we have seen for Spider-Man in the film yet, but it is a free update and we cannot look a gift-horse in the mouth here. More so when all that is needed is the update for the game that should be live as you are reading this. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/24/19 — 6/28/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There goes one more great week in the world of video games for us all to enjoy and there was surprisingly a lot more than expected being after the big E3 weeks. We do all need to start prepping for the SDCC week so it makes more sense that we would start to see more for the Doctor Who VR game and Man Of Medan. Both titles that should be on a bit of a display out there among many other video games that should be on display. Read More...

Meet And Learn More About Conrad In Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan A new interview for Man Of Medan shows off the character that Shawn Ashmore is playing in Man Of Medan and a bit on what to expect Time for some 'shocking' news for Man Of Medan, as it looks like we are getting some other celebrity chops added into the mix here with Shawn Ashmore and his character Conrad. Not the biggest of shocks here as Supermassive Games has done things like this in the past with their other titles. They are going for some realism in their games so why not bring over an actor that can add their likeness to Man Of Medan as well as their voice. Read More...

Take A Shot At The Big Apple In Hitman 2 Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman The first expansion for Hitman 2 is here as Hitman 2 takes us to the bank in the middle of New York right now If you have been hoping for more to do in Hitman 2 besides the community updates, then get ready to download your first big expansion for the game. It is currently available to download on your PS4, Xbox One, and PC as IO Interactive has added in a whole new location to kill targets in. In the middle of New York and inside of a Bank. Not the craziest sounding thing for Hitman 2, but that truly comes down to how we are going to go running around this secured location. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/17/19 — 6/21/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of June 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week felt like such a catchup week for all things video games but I totally blame E3 for all of that. There was so much going on out there and it was rough making sure we were able to cover as much of it as we can. Especially with all of the big titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy VII Remake having a huge showing this year. It was also great getting to talk about video games like Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood and the upcoming Blair Witch title that seemed to pop up out of nowhere. Read More...

E3 Hands-On — Destroy All Humans!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Destroy All Humans While at E3, I was able to see Destroy All Humans! in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Destroy All Humans! One of the titles that was a slight surprise and one of the most requested out at E3 had to be the remake for Destroy All Humans!. Things were rumored out there way back when THQ Nordic picked up the IP and then we had an early announcement from Black Forest Games that they were remaking this game. I saw a whole lot of gamers get excited that Destroy All Humans! was coming back but still a bit hesitant that it would be a remaster and not a solid remake. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Maneater
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Maneater While at E3, I was able to see Maneater in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Maneater. A title that made a huge splash, pun intended, back at E3 2018 had to be Maneater. That would be the ShaRkPG title that we were introduced to from Blindside Interactive and Tripwire Interactive during the main PC Gaming show at the start of the event. Originally, it looked to be like a joke title that was going to build into something different to me, but here we are back again and we can see that it has become much more. Well, at least some of us who were lucky enough to see solid gameplay for Maneater during this year's E3 and not just the fun little trailer we were all given when it was highlighted again. This Week In Video Games 6/3/19 — 6/7/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of June 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week If you were hoping things to be quite this week in video games just before E3, we would all be wrong. It is seeming more and more as if we are getting announcements before the event instead of surprises day of. I will take it as we did get to see Baldur's Gate 3 and Darksiders Genesis announced during this week and get us ready for next week. Not only that, but we did get to see Watch Dogs Legion announced after the usual leaks that happen for that company before the event. Read More...

Destroy All Humans! Is Getting Remade With A Few Extras
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Destroy All Humans We are officially getting a remake for Destroy All Humans! with all of the classic things from Destroy All Humans! back in with a few of the rumored items too The third and final reveal from THQ Nordic is here and it is the much-rumored remake of Destroy All Humans! that many have been hoping for. All of those hopes sprung up way back when the IP was bought by THQ and now we see that they have tasked Black Forest Games with remaking the game and bring it to us in 2020. When in 2020 is still a mystery, but at least we know we will have more Destroy All Humans! Read More...
