Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The news for all of our video games just keeps flowing out there. More so as we have all of the info flowing out from Gamescom in the mix of things too. Not the biggest of shocks as we had so much promised for Cyberpunk 2077, Marvel’s Avengers, and Bloodlines 2 before the event even started. Maneater The gameplay for Maneater that was behind doors at E3 is now out there during Gamescom to help us all understand Maneater a bit more Back at E3, I had the pleasure of seeing some new gameplay for Maneater to get a better idea of just what is going on in the Shark-P-G title here. There was a nice little write up about all of that and the little bits more that Blindside Interactive and Tripwire Interactive had on the floor for us all. Words are nice, but I know the audience here and how they all like to have some actual visuals for their games. Ancestors The final video for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey’s 101 series is here to give us a look at how we will evolve the character in Ancestors It is time to wrap up the 101 series for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey here as the latest video is out there now and ready to explain to us just how the evolution will work in the game. While this is all an odyssey for us all to go through and explore, Panache Digital Games needs to add in actual gameplay mechanics to make sure we have more to do in general. Man Of Medan New details for Man Of Medan’s Movie Mode have been let loose here with the latest developer diary for The Dark Pictures: Man Of Medan The next part of the Man Of Medan developer diaries is here to better explain more of the multiplayer mode coming to this game and the rest of The Dark Pictures. Last time we saw how Supermassive Games was giving us a co-op form of gameplay and now we are back to see how the Movie Mode will play out. Destroy All Humans Two new editions of Destroy All Humans! have been announced that will give us all kinds of new goodies for Destroy All Humans! It should be no surprise at this point that THQ Nordic has put out all kinds of collector's editions for their games and now we have two more for Destroy All Humans! I would have been a bit more surprised if there was not one, to be honest, but it looks like that surprise is not going to be a thing. No Man’s Sky The launch trailer for No Man’s Sky’s Beyond update is here to give us a better look at everything coming to No Man’s Sky next week The teasing is mostly over for No Man’s Sky’s next big update. We have a new bit of gameplay to look at for it all as we are now only days away from getting to add everything in that Hello Games has worked on. Just a bit more of a showing to how we gamers should always let the developer take their time to do what is right for the game while in that phase. Man Of Medan A new developer diary for Man Of Medan shows off a bit more on how the multiplayer and co-op will actually work when playing Man Of Medan with friends It was a bit shock to find out that Man Of Medan, and the rest of The Dark Pictures Anthology, was going to have a bit of a multiplayer aspect mixed into it all. I will not gripe that we are getting it, as it has sounded rather interesting since Supermassive Games let that one slip. No Man’s Sky The next update for No Man’s Sky has a release date set down and it looks like a whole lot more will be added to No Man’s Sky in a few weeks Good news for those still sticking with No Man’s Sky. The next update, Beyond, now has a date laid down for us on when to expect it. If you have been looking forward to what this update will be bringing to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of the game, Hello Games has just announced that you will get this update on August 14th now. Not too long of a wait for No Man’s Sky to take the few extra steps to become the game we have been waiting for it to be. If only the community never forced their hands to put out the worst version of the game in the first place… This new update for No Man’s Sky will be bringing with it new social multiplayer options and features for us to experience. Maneater A new behind the scenes video for Maneater is here to give us a bit more on how Maneater has been coming to life and what to expect There really has not been a whole lot out there for Maneater as of yet after having it announced so long ago. Even with the solid showing of it during E3 this year from Blindside Interactive, there is still so much that we have yet to learn from Tripwire Interactive in regards to is all. It seems to be the way video games have been going as of late and with the weirdness of Maneater, one would expect there to be a bit more. Iron Man While at SDCC, I was able to see Marvel’s Iron Man VR in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Marvel’s Iron Man VR So many were shocked to find out we were getting Marvel’s Iron Man VR and there has been a lot of hype around it after it was announced for the PSVR. That was at least the case for me, so I went on the hunt during SDCC this year to find Camouflaj and give the demo of it all a go. Ancestors A new video series for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has kicked off to take us further behind the anthropology we will get to know in Ancestors I hope by now that we all know the basics of what is going on Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey and just how things will evolve as we play. Not just in terms of gameplay, but also the way that Panache Digital Games is going about sharing the experience with us and trying to stick close to the real situations that brought humanity to the place it is today. Man Of Medan New gameplay footage for Man Of Medan shows us just how the co-op mode in Man Of Medan will actually work when we play the game Last week we found out that Man Of Medan was going to have some multiplayer options to the game when it launched. Man Of Medan It has been announced that Man Of Medan, and all of The Dark Pictures Anthology titles, will have co-op and multiplayer to survive the horrors coming with Man Of Medan In an interesting plot twist for Man Of Medan, it looks like the horror title will no longer be a single-player game in general. In fact, it looks like all of the titles in The Dark Pictures Anthology will house multiple ways to play the game besides solo mode. Batman The Batman: Arkham Collection is re-releasing in a physical form to bring the Batman series to even more gamers across the world Just in time to celebrate 80 years of Batman out there, we are getting Batman: Arkham Collection released yet again. This time in a physical form with a steelbook and with all of the upgrades and fixes that Rocksteady Games put out there when it launched digitally on the PS4 and Xbox One not that long ago. That is right, this is not the first time we all have heard of the Batman: Arkham Collection and now we will have a new option on how to buy it.
