So just as Konami did earlier, Activision is hosting a PrE3 event. The only difference is that this 30 minute event is all about one title, Call Of Duty: Ghosts. I am so glad to see that South Park: The Stick Of Truth is still moving forward and striving given the loss of the original publisher and completely missing the launch date. While Ubisoft did purchase the game during the great THQ fire sale, I was a bit worried that this was going to fall into development Tartarus or be so altered it wouldn't be what we were led to expect. I am sure we are still trying to take in the Xbox One reveal and the odd focus on TV and Sports. But let's skip all of that for now and focus on the tail end of the reveal. Activision has confirmed that the rumored Call Of Duty: Ghosts will in fact be the next installment in the long running FPS franchise. Not many details on the game were revealed by Activision aside from a teaser trailer and a promise for a bigger reveal during the Xbox: The Next Generation Revealed Event on May 21st. Activision also announced that the game will be released on November 5th for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS4 and the new Xbox. Back in 2011 we were all introduced to the wonders that could be a Zombie RPG with Dead Island. Earlier this month we had the official announcement of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag with not much to go on other than the time period of the story and the culture it is based around. During the reign of Blackbeard and pirates for those who are just now following along. No matter which you are, we now have a bit of game play from Black Flag and it looks like Ubisoft is trying to focus on the naval combat that debuted back in ACIII not so very long ago. It also looks like we will get to punch sharks in the gills during underwater scenes of the game, so there is also that. Firstly, we have the recently re-announced Saints Row 4 from Volition and their new owners Deep Silver. Nothing about this game aside from the release date and a fluff trailer has been shown. Talk about a title that I can't wait to play, mainly for the story and humor. Deadpool looks more and more up my alley with each new trailer for the game. They are just everything that makes the 'Merc with a Mouth' who he is. The following new trailer does not disappoint as well. Well outside of showing some of the game's actually mechanics and game play. I'd be lying if I wasn't interested in how Deadpool will actually handle in game. It has been made official; Assassin's Creed IV is coming just about a year after AC3 has landed. It was originally rumored with the below trailer teasing it last week, but since the cat was let out of the bag it looks like Ubisoft isn't keeping it hidden any more. The video is now to be considered the official announcement of AC4 along with the release date of November 1st 2013. That adds another title to the PS4's launch lineup it would seem. Now for the interesting part, it looks like Ubisoft is breaking from the theme of traveling forward in history with each new AC title as we will be playing during the time of Blackbeard. Square Enix had a big announcement today about everyone's favorite Final Fantasy/Disney crossover. Unfortunately, it wasn't the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3. Kingdom Hearts fans around the world collectively sigh in disappointment as they read about Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, set to release Fall of 2013. It is a compilation for the PlayStation 3 featuring Kingdom Hearts Final Mix; Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories; and story cut scenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
