Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes has been announced and shown off in a huge Disney Infinity 2.0 event. Back at the beginning of the month we got a nice tease showing off what is now known as Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes. At first it looked like it was going to be Disney Infinity with a few Marvel heroes added in. With the hour long session that took place today (4/30/14) it looks like it is a whole lot more. There is a new gameplay trailer for Destiny that shows a strike against the Fallen in the Devil's Lair. Here we go with some new Destiny footage straight off the PS4. In this case we get to follow three characters of different classes as they attempt to make a strike at the Devil's Lair. From the looks of the area it looks to be more inhabited by the Fallen and fewer demons or devils but Destiny is a sci-fi title and not a religious or fantasy title. Not that that should make much of a difference but I felt it worth noting for some reason. An exclusive trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 shows off one of the best villains in the Spider-Man universe; Carnage. Earlier this month we got a trailer showcasing the villains that will be in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. During said trailer there was a possible glimpse of Carnage which was something of great speculation. It all made sense based on the short scene and how this game is supposed to stay semi-close to the cinematic universe that has been re-cultivated. Activision has announced Skylanders Trap Team which will allow you to collect the various villains as well as heroes. If there is one franchise that I know is a cash cow it is the Skylanders franchise from Activision and Toys For Bob. That cash cow is going to get a whole lot larger with the addition of Skylanders Trap Team this October 5th as we will get a slew of new heroes and a way to collect and play various villains. Bungie has updated the official site for Destiny with some new information and video of three of the game's classes. For all of you out there pining for some more news or updates on Destiny from Bungie and Activision, it looks like we are getting just that. In this instance it is in the form of three of the character classes that will be in the game when it finally launches. There is a nice brief description for the Hunter, Titan, and Warlock as well as nice little video to go along with said description. A new developer interview has popped up on the internet showing Watch_Dogs on the PS4 as well as the life of a hacker. Man, Watch_Dogs really want to keep that moniker and title flowing after that amazing '95 film of the same name. I personally think cyber-terrorist or cyber-vigilante would fit better but it looks like we are getting a look at the 'future' of hacking yet again. On the plus side there is a whole slew of new gameplay on the PS4 version of Watch_Dogs so we can see how it will handle on the next-gen consoles before May 27th. BioWare's upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition is slated for October 7th and has a new gameplay trailer. The time has come and now we have a release date for Dragon Age: Inquisition to look forward to. That date is now October 7th on the main current gen and next gen consoles as well as PC for any of those who play games on their major tech devices. I don't know who would ever play Dragon Age: Inquisition on their PC instead of using it for curing cancer am I right? Ubisoft has announced an eBook sequel story to the events of Watch_Dogs slated to come out around the game's launch. Watch_Dogs is still about a month out from launch and there is already a talk about a sequel to the game's story. This isn't another quick turnaround for another game in the new franchise but an eBook titled Watch_Dogs //n/Dark Clouds. Kind of an interesting way to go about it there but it does fit into Ubisoft's want for all IPs to be able to have a franchise built around it. From what has been stated so far don't expect it to be just a continuation of the story in Watch_Dogs the game but a whole new story in the same universe written by John Shirley. Read More...

A new developer diary for Alien Isolation has been released showing the care in creating the 70's Sci-Fi in a modern age. Let's mark this new developer diary for Alien Isolation a step in the right direction. At least in my book. Sega and Creative Assembly have just released a new dev diary showcasing how they are trying to stay true to the original limitations that the Alien films had for Alien Isolation. It is always funny to look back at older films and see how under advanced the future is supposed to be due to the real world tech at the times. For instance, Alien is supposed to be set around 2119 yet there are no crazy holograms or AR displays due to the limitations of the tech in the 70's. Read More...

If there is one thing I love it is a serene look at a game's world and Child Of Light does not let me down in that area. In fact this some of the most beautiful looking world that I have seen since Journey. That was a great combination of visuals and audio that brought me to tears with emotion and I have a feeling that will be the case with Child Of Light.
