Review — Metamorphosis
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Metamorphosis We sit down and review Metamorphosis. A Kafka-inspired platformer where you are a bug. Here is our review of Metamorphosis It is time for a new first-person platforming-based title to enter the ring for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC with Metamorphosis. This would be the latest title to come out of Ovid Works and All In! Games that dives into some of Franz Kafka's works in terms of theme and mood while having us navigate the world in the body of an insect in a mix between the two worlds. Those who know the original book, The Metamorphosis, will have a better understanding of it all even if the game was only inspired and not a direct retelling of it all. Read More...

Yes, there will be more than just the assumed modes that generally go along with the TV and PPV entertainment that is brought to us. Saber Interactive and 2K Games would not have a solid title on their hands besides the other versions of the WWE we have seen in the past without this. Well, maybe they would given the fanbase, but here we get to see what else will be out there to draw in more than just the general fans and the gaming community at large. Read More...

Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty Will Soon Be Coming In Switch Flavor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Oddworld A Switch release for Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty is coming in October adding to the growing list of Oddworld titles on the platform The headline says a good chunk of it here, as Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty will be making its way over to the Nintendo Switch in October of this year. One of the more popular titles in the franchise that Oddworld Inhabitants has placed out there for various other platforms and now coming to the Switch. I am not all that surprised with all of their past Oddworld titles making the leap over as of late. Maybe this will point to the upcoming one also having a release on this platform too. Read More...

The Ancient Gods Are Coming Soon For DOOM Eternal
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM The first single-player DLC for DOOM Eternal is coming and we will get to see the DOOM Slayer taking on some new areas in the universe It is no secret that we knew that DOOM Eternal was going to be getting some single-player DLC coming soon for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. We had some screenshots come out before to let us all know and now we are back with a new teaser trailer to see from id Software. It is a weird cycle we are going to be getting here for DOOM Eternal with so many teases that do not feel needed, but it is something new to see and keep us going, I guess. At least this new trailer we have does show we will be going to new areas in the universe and not just some recycled bits from before. Read More...

Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time Is Offering Up A Lot More Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot New gameplay for Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time is here with some new twists and a look back at how it will use past Crash Bandicoot titles too A new and long look at Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time came out of the big State Of Play event yesterday and for those that missed out, we have the slice of it all. It was slipped in as a beefy little thing from Toys For Bob as they dove into all the changes and additions we can all expect to have here in the game. It has been a long time since we had a great Crash Bandicoot title so it would make sense that we would be getting something to showcase the IP and keep us all wanting more after October 2nd. Hitman 3 Is Going To Bring The Whole Thing Into VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman Hitman 3 is going into VR with it bring all of the new and old locations from this version of the Hitman franchise into the mix If you were not able to catch the big PlayStation State Of Play event yesterday, then you may have missed out on an interesting announcement for Hitman 3. We did not get much in the way of new locations or changes up for the IP from IO Interactive but the announcement that we will have the option to play it all in PSVR. Yeah, we will be able to pull off all of those over-the-top kills in Hitman 3 from the true perspective of Agent 47 and feel the garroting wire wrapping around our victim's throats. Well, at least as much as we can in VR given the limitations the hardware still faces here. Read More...

Serious Sam 4 Gets A New Release Date For Real This Time
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Serious Sam One more delay has hit Serious Sam 4 and we will be getting back into the Serious Sam universe this coming September A new delay has seemed to hit Serious Sam 4 now and we will not be seeing the title in the likes of August here. It is not the biggest surprise given the world we are in, but it is something that cannot be easy for Croteam to make the call on. PC gamers all over have to be sad now that we will not see Serious Sam back in action this month. Thankfully, though, we do have a date in site for when we will be blasting away and defending Earth from everything. Read More...

Pikmin A release date for Pikmin 3 Deluxe is now set down to bring this Pikmin title over to the Switch in all of its glory The wait for Pikmin 3 to head over to the Switch is almost over, as we now have a release date for the game over there. Nintendo has been toying with us all for a while now and it looks like October is going to be about when we will get to see the game there.
