It has been let loose that we will all be waiting an extra month for BioShock Infinite to hit the market. The new release date being March 26th 2013. The reason, to add more polish to the game before it gets released to the masses. Hasn't this been the excuse before? BioShock Infinite was originally slated to come out back in October but was pushed out and then there was silence about the game. With the amount of polish and bug checking Irrational Games is going to be in a world of hurt if there is even one mediocre flaw in the game. Not from myself but the gaming community at large. Need For Speed Most Wanted marks the second Need For Speed developed by Criterion. Most Wanted is a re-imaging of one the best received entry in the long running series. While some of us were busy participating in a 24 hour game-a-thon for Extra Life and the Children's Miracle Network, Irrational Games and Take Two decided they would let loose their new trailer for BioShock Infinite. Either it was planned or not, it definitely hit just right and brought the title back into the lime light. Just when you thought we'd seen enough of the murdering for Hitman: Absolution we have yet another trailer showcasing it. This time they are rather creative and entertaining though. THQ has recently announced a "Game Of The Year" type package for Saints Row: The Third. Simply called "Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package" for a price of $49.99. A release date has also been announced, and lucky for all you fans it's soon; November 6th, 2012. For PS3, XBox 360, and PC. The "Full Package" includes the full game, all three DLC mission packs, and over thirty DLC bonus items. I always regret not being able to buy Saints Row: The Third, but I did manage to play it. Criterion released a new game play trailer this week showcasing some new single player features in Need For Speed Most Wanted. One feature that really stood out was the ability to modify your car’s performance parts on the fly. Some of the modifications that can be made to your car include a reinforced chaise to help you take down your rivals and a nitrous boost to leave other racers in the dust. If the cops are on your tail you can foil their tactics by equipping re-inflating tires to be able to run over spike strips or equip impact protection to your car to blast through their roadblocks. EA has released the single player footage from Gamescom to the public. The footage is five minutes and shows off some white knuckle racing and new features such as the new Autolog and the new Jack Spot feature. The Jack Spot feature is simple if you find a parked car just press Y to jump right in and add it to your collection of cars. Square Enix has announced a new game mode at Gamescom called Contracts for the upcoming Hitman: Absolution. Contracts mode is a unique multiplayer mode in which you create your own hits and challenge your friends to complete them. It works by selecting a level and a target. While creating your hit you can pick up to three targets that can be any NPCs in the level. The player can choose the stipulations of the hit such as what weapons and disguises are allowed to be used. You will be able to take on other player’s hits to earn money and new equipment. Criterion has released the full multiplayer trailer for Need For Speed Most Wanted at Gamescom. The trailer shows that the multiplayer will be filled with multiple challenges that you can face your friends with. The challenges include jump, takedown and drift. Most Wanted’s multiplayer will support up to 12 players and will feature free roam. Just as Criterion has said in the past the game will have no lobbies and will have players meet up between events. This feature will eliminate any waiting and will always have you driving and exploring Fairhaven City. Read More...
