Here is our review of half of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 A true French JRPG game, both in the sense that it was developed by a French company, Sandfall Interactive, and in the sense of a throwback to when JRPGs were turn-based rather than action RPG oriented. While Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is turn-based, it keeps the player engaged during enemy turns by incorporating some active elements into the turn-based system, namely that of Dodge and Parry. With successful Dodging and Parrying having more impact beyond the immediate, such as a counterattack with an individual character, or the entire party for enemy attacks that strike the whole party, if you successfully parry all attacks in the attack pattern, as well as potentially gaining more Action Points for your next turn on each character. Witcher See the future of The Witcher with the latest Tech Demo that has been shown off for the upcoming The Witcher IV We all lost our minds when The Witcher IV was announced and all we had was a very basic cinematic and then a title card. Fast forward just about half a year, and here we go with some new updates from CD Projekt RED and Epic Games on how things are going for the game. Backrooms Enter into a new space of the Backrooms with the recent launch of Backrooms Level X on the PC Get ready to clip out of our reality and into another with the current launch for Backrooms Level X. At least, the PC launch of the game as Firenut Games, is still working on getting the game out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch. Dead By Daylight The next survivor for Dead By Daylight is on the way with a few other updates coming to Dead By Daylight along the way It feels like it is about that time that we had a new Survivor in the mix for Dead By Daylight and this time it is a new one just for the IP. Maybe Behaviour has slowed down the crossover characters for a bit longer now, but this is a great thing as we have a wholly new character entering the Fog and helping us all survive just a bit longer. Not that the others in Dead By Daylight do not do the same, but none of them seem to be EMTs who are fully trained for all of this. Funko A physical edition for Funko Fusion is on the way to the Nintendo Switch to give Funko fans a whole lot more to experience The popper of The Pop! carries onward as we have one more release on the way for Funko Fusion and heading specifically to the Nintendo Switch. A new and physical edition of the game is on the way from 10:10 Games specifically to give those players something else to add into their collection out there, as well as give them the "definitive" version of the game to experience out there. There is no clear reason why the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC are not getting the same treatment, but it is what it is.
