Today, Nintendo announced new holiday bundles to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. release on the NES. Going "Mario-red," the new Wii and DSi XL will each have Mario games bundled in with them to complete the experience. So Saw II: Flesh And Blood hits selves next week just in time to ride all the hype from the upcoming film. If you don't believe the title, look at the new set of visuals for Splatterhouse. These screen shots show off a bit on how the "Health" meter of Splatterhouse will be visually shown on Rick. As he gets hurt the character model changes as appropriate. Not to major of new news there but it is something that has been seen this up close and personal. We can all rejoice! The Netflix app is coming to the PS3 on the 18th of October. That's only a few days from now so use those soon to be obsolete PS3 discs until they no longer spin. Or at least find some new use for them. Maybe some form of artwork like some have done with the AOL disc of the old internet days. Valve announced today that its latest title to be released in 2011 is DotA 2. Players have been waiting a while for this announcement considering Valve went on a Trademark spree and filed for the DotA and Defense of the Ancients name back in August of this year. According to the short and sweet press release: "Coming to the PC&Mac in 2011, DotA 2 promises to take the unique blend of online RTS and RPG action that has made DotA popular with tens of millions of gamers and expand upon it in every way." For those that don't know the name DotA comes from the Warcraft III mod Defense of the Ancients. Defense of the Ancients at its core is a small tactical, hero based strategy game which completely revamped the Warcraft III game and design by bringing a real RPG aspect to an RTS world. Since this year's E3, there has only really been one launch title for the Microsoft Kinect that I've had even the most remote interest in: Dance Central. Today, Harmonix released the complete track listing for the game and although the 32 tracks seems a bit light - after being accustomed to receiving 85 tracks on a Rock Band disc - I will say the Harmonix team did an excellent job in the selection department. Sure it has the stereotypical DDR-like songs ("Funky Town", "Brick House", "Jungle Boogie"), but when you look a little bit deeper, I think you'll agree there is more than a few songs where you're beginning to hear the beat in your head and a smile is creeping onto your face. I only know since it just happened to me as I saw Bell Biv DeVoe's “Poison”, Salt-N-Pepa's “Push It” and Wreckx-n-Effect's “Rump Shaker”. Read More...

Those humans still wandering the devastated, in this case, America either spend their time hiding from the still active killing machines or slavers rounding them all up. You may have heard that back in July Redbox was testing the gaming market waters to see if it could pull in more revenue. Well it looks like everything has gone pretty well and Redbox will be providing the service to thousands of kiosks nationwide. The service is not available yet, but is expected to launch later this month. If you want to find the closest Kiosk to you and possible video game selection check this out. Trine 2 has just launched its latest game play teaser trailer, and fans of the first game will not be disappointed. Announced back at E3 2010, Atlus and developer Frozenbyte announced that the sequel would be released in spring of 2011. Blizzcon is notorious for their closing ceremonies, and 2010 will be no different. With performances by The Offspring, Patton Oswalt and the prince of darkness himself Ozzy Osbourne, the closing ceremonies have talked about around the world. Not to mention Blizzard has their in house band "The Artists Formerly Known as Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain" who always put on an awesome show. Well it's 2010 and Blizzard has announced that they will be bringing us the band that has soared on the wings of demons, and battled the devil himself, but will probably just perform some sort of "tribute".
