SDCC Experience — The Walking Dead Escape 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of July 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Escape Was Back At SDCC Giving All Of Us A Feel For What A Survival Horror Game Really Feels Like Another SDCC down and another fun run of The Walking Dead Escape to show us all how a survival horror kind of game could be like in the real world. If this is your first time reading about The Walking Dead Escape this would be the zombie obstacle course that has been set up out in San Diego's Petco Park for the fourth year running. Pun intended. The quick breakdown, if you don't want to read our original write up, is that you get grouped together with a small group of other "Runners" and then set loose to get from one end of a set up obstacle course to the other all while a group of other paid participants dressed as the "Walkers" try to corner you and end your life. The Walking Dead Getting A Live Performance At SDCC 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Select scenes from The Walking Dead's season one from Telltale is getting the live performance treatment at SDCC 2015 As if there wasn't going to be a shortage on The Walking Dead at SDCC this year it looks like Telltale Games' video game is going to get the liver performance treatment and you can watch it right here. Granted you can't watch it until Saturday (7/11) at 8:00pm PST but if you can't make it out to San Diego to see it and what Skybound has to offer us all. I have a feeling that this will be a lot like the same event that was held for The Last Of Us only with the The Walking Dead being the story and those character/actors doing all of the work. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of July 2015 - 10:59 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Now that we are all caught up on our huge week of video game news it is time to start flowing back into the norm until the next big video game convention happens. Or event. Or damn near any kind of information flood in the world of video games that may be on the brink. That doesn't mean we didn't have much for this week as we had two reviews, Hatred and Fallout Shelter, and all kinds of news and rumors for Rise Of The Tomb Raider, The Division, and Batman: Arkham Knight. Our official review for the last title there is on the way so rest assured we will dig in when it is a bit fare to dictate if you should make the purchase at all or still leave the game on the store shelf. The Dead Rise Again At SDCC With The Walking Dead Escape
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Escape is back at SDCC 2015 giving all of us a feel for what a Survival Horror game really feels like in the world of The Walking Dead Looks like the SDCC tradition just keeps going as The Walking Dead Escape is making its return again to SDCC 2015. This would be the live action, survival horror experience set in the world of The Walking Dead that graced Petco Park back in 2012 and has been going strong ever since. The only difference this year is it would seem that this video game-like experience is being brought to life even more not with just the TV show but also it sounds like the other media platforms and versions are making a show during The Walking Dead Escape. Notably one of the best characters from the franchise; Negan. Read More...

There Is A Longer Wait For Dead Island 2 As It's Been Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Sad news as Dead Island 2 has been delayed due to unreleased reasons but to make Dead Island 2 a better game You can't tell me you are all that shocked to hear that Dead Island 2 has been delayed here. The original release schedule put it on task to be released Spring of 2015 and since that is about to come to a close and we haven't had much in the way of updates since August of last year it would seem that Deep Silver or Yager were going to make this announcement sometime soon. Sadly though that announcement is today as Dead Island 2 has been pushed back to a 2016 release instead of a 2015 release. There must be so much going on over there since it wasn't just pushed back to later this year but then again Dead Island 2 did sound like quite the undertaking before. Read More...

Overkill's The Walking Dead To Be Published On Consoles By 505 Games
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
It looks like 505 Games will be bringing Overkill's The Walking Dead to the PS4 and Xbox One when it launches in 2016 Not the biggest or most shocking news here but it looks like Overkill's The Walking Dead will be coming to consoles through 505 Games. They will be known for working together in the past for the Pay Day titles as well as the critically acclaimed, on this site, Naughty Bear. This of course all makes perfect sense given the fact that Overkill's The Walking Dead will be another Pay Day-like title and the two have worked well to bring those titles already so it was most likely the safe bet that this was going to happen sooner or later. Now they have a lot of time to run some amazing ad campaigns like they did for Naughty Bear. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Well it looks like this is week two in the heavy Mortal Kombat X video game news. An info dump for Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun has brought us over 30 minutes of gameplay and footage for the game that was scrapped back in 2012 by Square Enix There is nothing like the sting of losing a title like Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun. We have some gameplay footage for Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun from a forum member over at NeoGaf as well as a whole slew of screens and information about the game that looks like it will never be. Is Limbo Coming To The PS4?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
A listing on the PEGI website may have confirmed a PS4 version of the popular indie title Limbo, not through PlayStation Now Hopefully by now you've at least heard of Limbo. Not the place of nothingness in popular religious mythologies but the video game. It is a fun little title from Playdead and has been named as one of the best indie titles for some time now. Limbo has seen a release on many different platforms ranging from the PC to the Xbox 360 to the PS Vita to the PS3. According to a recent listing on the PEGI website it looks like it may be adding the PS4 to that list and not through the use of PlayStation Now as one might have been thinking already. Read More...
