This Week In Video Games 1/24/22 — 1/28/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 29th of January 2022 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go and wrap up one more week and get a little closer to all of those releases and video games coming soon. We have some big ones coming next week, like Dying Light 2, and then soon after with Horizon Forbidden West and Sifu. So many games on the way to help keep us going with the delay of Evil Dead: The Game and some of the other video games we are still waiting for. These just happen to be the shorter list of titles that we have from the week and so many more we are still waiting for some true updates for. Read More...

Evil Dead: The Game Has Been Delayed Just A Bit Longer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of January 2022 - 06:00 PM ]
Evil Dead A delay has hit Evil Dead: The Game now and Evil Dead fans will need to wait a few more months for the game It felt like it was coming since we never had a solid release date for Evil Dead: The Game beyond February, but it looks like we have a delay for the game now. It does not hit that hard because of this, thankfully, but it looks like Saber Interactive needs a bit more time to make sure it is ready for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. While it is a bit of a letdown that we have to wait a bit longer for Evil Dead: The Game, we do have a release date set down that is definitely solid now. May 13th is now the date that we will see it out there. Read More...

Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Will Let You Do It All Your Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of January 2022 - 06:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy The final trailer for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is here to show how this game will link into the grander Final Fantasy The final trailer we are going to get for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin has dropped out there for us now. A little odd since it is still not hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 18th, but it is what it is for now. Most likely we will start to get more of the gameplay breakdown from Team NINJA as we lead into the launch. This is something that I am hoping for given that this new video shows off how this one will mix into the bigger Final Fantasy lore of it all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of January 2022 - 06:00 PM ]
MADiSON The consoles will see MADiSON drop on them too when MADiSON is finally ready to drop on the world We are all still waiting for the first-person horror title MADiSON to hit the PC, but it looks like there are going to be more fans waiting for the game now. That is due to the fact that Bloodious Games has teamed up with Perp Games to bring the game over to the consoles. None of the specific ones have been listed, but it should be easy to assume that MADiSON will be hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It could just be for the next-gen systems, but we will keep assuming until we finally get the list and showing for it all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of December 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy The Final Fantasy job system is back and we have a small taste of the jobs we will swap in for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin It was mentioned it was coming, and now we have a little bit of a look at the job system in Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin to get us ready for that March 18th release date that is right around the corner. A new system that looks like Team NINJA is paying a bit of homage to the original Final Fantasy systems, but also making sure that it feels just at home in the current state of the games out there. That is, it looks like we will not be pigeonholed into just one job for the entire game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of December 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy A new video for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin offers up another look at how it could all be linked to the original Final Fantasy I sure hope you enjoy being teased here, as we have yet one more little teaser for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin to hopefully get us ready for the March 18th release. Yes, I am talking about that kind of tease and not the kind that got most of us into the virtual worlds that Team NINJA and Square Enix have been making for us all over the years. One the will give us a little bit to look at for the game and see maybe how it all builds into the origins of Final Fantasy here in the weird Souls-like title that will be hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Original Cast Is Now All-In For Evil Dead: The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of December 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
Evil Dead Evil Dead: The Game now has the entire original cast from Evil Dead in the game in some major form Things seem to be shaping up well for Evil Dead: The Game, even if we still have to wait until February to be able to experience it. There is still no word on the specific date or form that we will be able to add this title to our collection and it feels like Saber Interactive is just waiting to jump scare us all with that. Just as they did with the announcement that the full cast from the original Evil Dead will not be in the game in some form or another. The voices of Linda (Betsy Baker) and Shelly (Theresa Tilly) are now confirmed to give us more of that authentic feel to the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC when it does drop. The Gameplay Is Revealed Here For Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of December 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
Hellblade The first bit of gameplay for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is here and it feels like things are shifting from the Hellblade we once knew The gameplay reveal for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is finally here and we have a solid taste to see how Ninja Theory could be pushing things forward in the industry again. The first title made some huge strides when it came to visuals and audio out there, as well as a bit of inclusivity to show somewhat others have to deal with mentally. Now that the team has some of that Microsoft money out there and will be bringing Hellblade 2 only to the PC and Xbox Series X|S, it should be making massive leaps again. Read More...
