This Week In Video Games 1/2/24 — 1/5/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 6th of January 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The year has kicked off and, just as we thought, things are a bit slow on the gaming side and video games out there. That is to be expected. Although, with certain copyrights being lifted, we did see that Infestation 88 did not take long to make the announcement. Then there were a few more updates for Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown and a possible hint at when we can play Silent Hill 2 remake. All of that and a build toward the release of the Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League in the coming month too. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of January 2024 - 10:00 PM ]
Ballance Puzzle platformer Ballance is back in our lives and ready for us all to test our balance on the newer systems out there If you can think back long ago to the age of video games coming on CDs, then you might be able to imagine what we have coming for Ballance. Yes, Ballance is out there as you read these words and you can get your marble-rolling skills out there in the world again as we try to make it through this momentum-based platformer that might have been the bane of your existence back when you had to get a little plastic disk to play the game and not just download it digitally. Something you can do right now if you need that touch of nostalgia in your life. Read More...

DreadOut 2 Will Be Launching Into The World Once More Very Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of January 2024 - 08:00 PM ]
DreadOut Those who were looking to play DreadOut 2 on the Switch will soon have a chance to see just what DreadOut 2 had in it before After about four years of waiting, those looking to play DreadOut 2 on the Switch will have the ability to do just that. Yes, the game is finally landing on that console out there with Digital Happiness placing a January 18th release date down for this version of the game. Quite a bit of a wait for those looking to see how the world of DreadOut was going to expand and on the Switch, but we all have our own preferred systems to play on. There is no shame in that at all, but just an odd choice to need to wait that long to play a game when you could have done that on a few other platforms for quite a while now. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of December 2023 - 08:00 PM ]
Vestiges A new strategy card game, Vestiges: Fallen Tribes, has been announced with Vestiges giving a new twist to the genre There is a running theme, it would seem, that we are going to be seeing many titles in 2024 where the world is fighting over resources and Vestiges: Fallen Tribes is adding to it. This new title, coming from WanadevStudio, aims to take us into a new world where water is scarce and we are fighting over which tribe out there gets it. That caveat in Vestiges: Fallen Tribes, though, is that this is a fight that has been going on for a long time and not something that has just cropped up. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 23rd of December 2023 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week More and more of the video games news has been flowing out there during a time that is normally fairly dry when it comes to all of that. Suicide Squad New cosmetics for the Suicide Squad are ready for pre-order for those looking to play Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League The pre-order options for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League keep on rolling out, and we have a new one for those looking to play the game on the PS5. I am sure that Rocksteady will get these bonuses over to the Xbox Series X|S and PC down the line, or in the game as unlocks, but those looking to get some fun costumes from the start can do so by just pre-ordering the game on the PS5 directly. All so you can don your Suicide Squad with skins that are listed as the "Rogue Outfits" for each of the characters. You know, because they are part of the Rogue's Gallery of DC villains out there… I will stop while I am not ahead here… Yes, this is just a basic preorder for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, and you can see them all below in the following trailer, but it is weirdly telling about a few things for the game.
