Play The Walking Dead For Real At Comic Con

So by now you've most likely played Telltale's The Walking Dead, read the comic or seen the show. If anything you at least are interested in the zombie apocalypse scenario. Well here is something that those interested in any of those things mention will find pretty damn awesome. If you are at San Diego Comic Con next week you will have the chance to actually play "the game" for real. E3 2012 Impressions: Dead Space 3

Talk about an awesome announcement at this year's E3, Dead Space 3! Yes I am one of those people out there who still love the franchise even though EA is milking it for everything. But Dead Space was one of the games in the recent years that revitalized the survival horror genre for me. Needless to say I did everything I could to fit in a viewing of the game. While originally this was shown behind closed doors at the show, recently the game's Executive Producer (Steve Papoutsis) posted a video showcasing exactly everything we all got to see on the show floor. Konami Pre-E3 Conference Recap

Alright with E3 right around the corner, Konami took it upon themselves to have their 2nd annual "Pre-E3 Press Conference" which started off slow with some social game updates and news. Review: The Walking Dead: Episode 1

Developed and Published by Telltale Games this episodic game takes place within The Walking Dead universe. While some characters share the names of those in the comic and TV show, it is a whole new story. The Walking Dead is a point and click game with "precision" quick-time events. Instead of simply hitting a button you have to aim in a specific spot and then hit a button. I sat down to play The Walking Dead expecting a quick little hour or so session but I soon found myself sucked in to the characters and their story. I actually finished the game in one session. Finally Some Game Play For The Walking Dead Video Game

We recently were given a look at The Walking Dead's game play via Telltale's debut trailer but it wasn't much more than a few seconds. A few seconds of very little compared to what the latest episode of Playing Dead has to show us. While the episode is about 15 minutes long, if you jump to the 7 minute mark you will get a glimpse at about 3 minutes of the game. Do We Really Need More Reasons To Buy Prototype 2?

How many reasons do you need to pick up Prototype 2? For me it was the sheer fact that there is a sequel to the game coming out that sold it for me. Then again I am a huge fan of the first and have seen nothing but good things for PT2. Those of you on the fence may want to take a look at the below trailer which will show you another 11 reasons why you should pre-order the game or give it a go when it finally launches. Do You Wonder What Ryder White Was Thinking In Dead Island?

If you are like me you might be curious on the motivations of antagonists in films and games. I mean not ever villain is like the Joker who just does messed up stuff for the sake of doing it. There is usually a motivation behind their actions. Well it looks like next month we all will get the chance to see what Ryder White had planned besides just trying to save his wife and self. According to the announcement the DLC, aptly titled Ryder White, will add several hours of game play where you will actually play as White. Review: Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD

I'm not one for re-makes or "re-imagining" when it comes to video games. I think that it shows a lack of innovation in the industry when developers should really be pushing forward. It is how I feel and there won't be much changing of my mind in this area. So you could only imagine how I felt when I heard that Just Add Water was "upgrading" Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath to be a whole new HD version. Why "upgrade" instead of make something new for the developer? Now that I have that out of the way, just like when God Of War got the HD treatment, I see why they chose to do this six years later. Fan Made BioShock Movie Teaser

In my long and weary travels through the harsh and sometimes beautiful lands of the internet, I have come across a video on YouTube by the username of "TheBioshockMovie" which only has one upload which was about a week ago. The upload is titled "BioShock Movie (2013) - Trailer". While it's more of a teaser, this fan-made video has definitely impressed me. The teaser starts off with some junk on a beach as the camera pans to the right we see a wallet, a shoe and then a man. A man who just happens to be holding a Big Daddy doll, then a sharp cut to a real life big daddy, a man screaming and what seems to be the man holding the doll getting swept away from a surge of water. Do Video Game Characters Have Dreams Of Their Players?

Looks like Sony took the time to answer that question for us in their latest promotional video for the Long Live Play campaign. Looks like they do and they are supposed to be. Sackboy I'm looking at you. Tsk tsk tskâ€¦ This is a rather interesting and awesome addition to things though. Especially since everyone in there is not a PlayStation exclusive even though it is stacked that way a bit. I will say that some of their choices for actors is a little odd or at least make the characters look odd. Kratos for one just looks wrong even though he looks to be the most CG'ed of the bunch.
