Borderlands Another Borderlands is on the way with Borderlands 4 getting a full announcement during Gamescom this year While it seems like it was held well under wraps before now, we have the full announcement that Borderlands 4 is on the way and coming in 2025. The writing was kind of on the wall with some of the other versions of the IP that Gearbox has been pushing out there but they took to Gamescom with 2K to show it all off. Something I am sure they were hoping would have made a bigger splash with the recent release of the Borderlands film, hence another of the clues that hinted that this was going to be an announcement.
