Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag yet again. It was a rough week for us here but we still managed to get all kinds of news and updates out to you for our great hobby. There were a lot of big announcements to see and have out there as we had a new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 and the fact that Shadow Of The Tomb Raider will be getting an optimization treatment for the PC version. Soulcalibur Another Soulcalibur VI character is revealed as a trailer leaked out and shows that Taki will indeed be a part of Soulcalibur VI Another veteran of the franchise has been confirmed for SoulCalibur VI as we now have a video showing off Taki. It may not be from a video that Bandai Namco wanted out there for the game just yet as it was "leaked" but it does show us that the warrior of the Fu-Ma clan will be back in the mix. It does come at us as all of the other Soulcalibur VI characters have so it is a solid confirm, but not the best-looking video that I am sure will be coming. Tomb Raider A new partnership is here for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and it will make sure that PC gamers have the best experience they can have for the upcoming Tomb Raider title We may have just had the first semi-showing of Shadow Of The Tomb Raider last week, but here we are yet again to have a bit of information we did not get last week. Tomb Raider The reveal trailer for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it looks like we are going to see a darker Tomb Raider with this one The day is here and we now have the first real reveal for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider to get us all amped for. Sure the game was officially announced by Eidos-Montréal a while back, but this is the first video reveal that Square Enix has for the public. I state it that way as it is only a pre-rendered video we have for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider while select few in a few select locations have had the true chance to give the current version of the game a whole. Given that it is still slated to release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 14th it would be a bit safe to assume it is in a decent place to get a good preview. Read More...

Memories Retold The official announcement for 11-11: Memories Retold is here and 11-11: Memories Retold aims to take us on a new gaming experience during World War I We have another World War I era game coming at us as 11-11: Memories Retold has been announced and heading to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC at some point. This would be the latest collaboration between DigixArt and Bandai Namco, but the basics of what we have so far may not be exactly what you are thinking as most WWI games are shooters. That is not to say that 11-11: Memories Retold could not be one, details are still sparse for the game, but as of right now it is announced and claimed to be a story-driven narrative adventure in the era with a unique painted art style. State Of Mind A new update for State Of Mind is here as the release window for State Of Mind is now slated for August 2018 for all platforms The wait is almost over for State Of Mind as it has been let loose that the game will be coming to us sometime this August for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. This would be the next title that Daedalic Entertainment is working on where we take on the role of a journalist who questions the way the world is who also happens to find out his family has gone missing. Soulcalibur The next character for SoulCalibur VI is here to look at and it is another from SoulCalibur ’s past as Siegfried has now officially joined the roster One more of the alumni from the franchise's past is back for SoulCalibur VI now. Not a huge surprise as I am sure we will have more of the old characters mixed in with the few new ones that Bandai Namco will be working. In the end though, as long as we have a good roster with a lot of great fighters on it I do not think many will have an issue with SoulCalibur VI. Moreover, now that Siegfried has now been confirmed and ready to show what he will be bringing to the fight when the game launches later this year. Read More...

Divinity One of the recent well-received RPGs, Divinity: Original Sin II, will be making the leap to consoles allowing more players to enjoy Divinity: Original Sin II One of the better received RPGs as of late, Divinity: Original Sin II will finally be making the leap from the PC to PS4 and Xbox One this August. It has been a good year for Larian Studios with the game and it looks like they have finally taken it over to give access to as many players as possible. I am sure that there are other reasons that have been pushed to get Divinity: Original Sin II over to the consoles, but for now, we can go with just that. Read More...

Pathfinder A new trailer for Pathfinder: Kingmaker is here and it goes over some of the gameplay features as well as the elements it will bring from the base Pathfinder: Kingmaker version Last year we had a chance to watch as the Pathfinder: Kingmaker Kickstarter campaign fired off and then was a huge success almost doubling what the team over at Owlcat Games was looking for to bring it into existence. Being a fan of the tabletop version of the game and the specific adventure path, I was amped to see that it was going to be a thing and in similar veins of Baldur’s Gate with all of the political intrigue I have grown to love. Now we have our first real taste of just how this version of Pathfinder: Kingmaker has progressed and all of the extra features we are going to be getting in the final game with more as time presses on. SoulCalibur Geralt Of Rivia, of The Witcher fame, will be in SoulCalibur VI doing what he does best as well as expanding the universe of SoulCalibur VI just a bit more It was heavily implied for a bit that we would see The Witcher in other games and now it has been confirmed that he will be joining the ranks of SoulCalibur VI when it finally launches this year. Bandai Namco has set up the crossover with CD Projekt RED to get this iconic character added into the mix of the fighting game and using all of his skills to do what he does best. One would have thought that Monster Hunter would have been the best idea for the crossover, but SoulCalibur VI it is. Read More...

Tomb Raider Just in time for the new Tomb Raider film to hit theaters, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been officially announced and coming this year for all platforms It looks like we can put most of the rumors to rest as Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been officially announced and let loose on the world. At least in the most teaser of ways as Eidos-Montréal and Square Enix are still holding off on the full reveal of the game until April 27th. They still needed to work with the hype of the new Tomb Raider film, so it makes sense that they would make this announcement now and not wait until the film is no longer anywhere out there. Scavengers A new survival shooter, Scavengers, has been revealed and will be using some new technology to keep Scavengers’ AI ahead of the curve Get ready to add another survival title into the mix as Scavengers has been announced and coming from Midwinter Entertainment. It will be their flagship title and will be hopefully making some big pushes for the gaming industry in terms of multiplayer survival shooters out there. Yes, that is the basics of Scavengers, but there is of course much more coming for it all. Like the fact that it will take place in a not-too-distant future where a new Ice Age has come and a new mutated disease is messing with all of the world's life. Read More...

The Division It looks like The Division 2 is officially coming at us soon as we now have the announcement that The Division 2 is in the works and building from the past Fans of The Division will be glad to see that after two years of fun they are finally going to be getting The Division 2. Yes, it has been announced and heading to us at some point and from Massive Entertainment again. There is no word on when, but know that The Division 2 is definitely coming and with an upgraded version of the Snowdrop engine and with all the lessons learned from the last two years of The Division. That is at least good to hear and not just another title being thrown out there by Ubisoft to cash in more. Read More...

SoulCalibur Add another character to the SoulCalibur VI roster as Nightmare is back to add the fear and darkness to the SoulCalibur franchise yet again Mark it down as not the biggest surprise for SoulCalibur VI, but it looks like Nightmare is on the way back into the fight and is now being shown off. It would have seemed odd if Bandai Namco did not include the character into the roster, but now we have a complete confirmation. I know fans of SoulCalibur in general will now be excited and ready to go whenever it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2018. Read More...
