This Week In Video Games 6/24/24 — 6/28/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when we thought things might have slowed down after all of the video games announced and updated recently, we had another full week. A little on the slower side, but still a full one. I have a feeling that is to further build up to SDCC in the coming month along with making sure Terminator: Survivors and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are getting the correct highlight as they deserve. All while giving us more for Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and our review of Capes to be able to join the mix of the video games out there too. Read More...

All so NACON can further show off how they are making a game that many have wanted while also gearing us up for when it will be hitting the Early Access phase of things. At least for the PC side of things even though Terminator: Survivors will also be hitting the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S too. Read More...

Review — Capes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of June 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Capes We sit down and review Capes. One more take on superheroes, in a new world, and with some fun turn-based functions. Here is our review of Capes In a time when superhero media is all over the place and having a hard time giving us something new, Capes jumps out there in the mix to give it a shot. This would be the latest title from Spitfire Interactive and Daedalic Entertainment that is aiming to give us some of that while also mixing the turn-based gameplay too. This is something we have seen to a point, but Capes is going to try to stand out like others have in the past. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of June 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Pneumata New gameplay for Pneumata is out here with a look at more of the terror Pneumata will give us to beat the heat Things keep on creeping out there for Pneumata and here we go with a little more to get us ready for its release. A release that is still coming at some point during the Summer for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC from Deadbolt Interactive and Perp Games. While we are still waiting to get that release date set down, and after another of the many "live streams" that have gone down, we have some new footage for Pneumata to give us more of the intensity. Not just from the frights but also in the way we are going to need to be fighting back from these things or people in the mix. Read More...

Deliver Us The Moon The switch release date for Deliver Us The Moon is now set down with us seeing Deliver Us The Moon there on a fun anniversary It may be taking a bit longer to get Deliver Us The Moon out there on the Switch than it should have, but it looks like that wait is coming to an end very soon. There are still a few final things that KeokeN Interactive needs to get done for this version of the game, but we do have a release date for those who were only looking to experience Deliver Us The Moon on the Switch after it had been available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is the weird nature of the beast out there for the gaming community, but one that will see this title on July 16th for those who were still holding out. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of June 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
A Quiet Place A new game based on A Quiet Place is on the way with the full announcement we have for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead It felt like it was only a matter of time until we had a video game set in the universe of A Quiet Place and that time is now. Well, it will be at some point during 2024 with the announcement that Stormind Games and Saber Interactive are working on a title for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A title that will be missing the release of the new film, but thankfully only shares the universe and does not seem to be one of those dreaded adaptation games. This Week In Video Games 6/10/24 — 6/14/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of June 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we assumed, this was a crazy-filled week for video games after all of the massive events that took place over the weekend. Massive events that really did not do much more than to sell us on some titles and not really show them off. Thankfully, we were able to dig up some good gameplay for Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows in the mix. Also, a bit more for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 and a great look at DOOM: The Dark Ages too. Read More...

Black Myth: Wukong Opens Up A Bit About The Collector’s Edition Of The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of June 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Black Myth The pre-orders are now open for Black Myth: Wukong for those who want to secure more of the physical items that Black Myth will offer With the recent Summer Game Fest, we had a chance to get a little more for Black Myth: Wukong, but the gameplay was not the big showing we had for the game. An odd choice to go with but with the game landing on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 20th, I guess it makes more sense that Game Science would want to hype-up the pre-orders for the game. Not the digital ones that many other developers have been doing, but the physical and limited editions for Black Myth: Wukong that are coming. Read More...

Indiana Jones A new set of footage from Indiana Jones And The Great Circle is here to place us slightly more into the shoes of Indiana Jones Here we go with another showcase for Indiana Jones And The Great Circle to see if there is a solid reason why we cannot just let this IP be placed in a museum. Well, outside of those who are in charge are still around, and they are giving Bethesda and Machine Games a chance to fill in some of the gaps fans may have wanted between a few of the films. As long as they are willing to wait until some point in 2024 to get to experience it all on the Xbox Series X|S or PC. Read More...

During the PC Gamer Show, Tripwire Interactive dropped us a nice bit of gameplay to experience out there for the game.
