Terminator: Survivors Is Going To Take A Bit Longer To Hit Early Access
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of August 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Terminator There is a delay for Terminator: Survivors now and we will have to wait until 2025 to see more of the Terminator universe It looks as if we are on another of the bad timelines out there, as Terminator: Survivors will not be making that October 24th date for the Early Access on the PC. This also means that we can pretty much expect that anything for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will be taking a bit longer too from NACON. Sad news indeed. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/5/24 — 8/9/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of August 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this was a much bigger week for video games than we could have expected, but a solid one still. After SDCC and now the upcoming Gamescom, I was under the impression it was going to be a slower one, between Call Of Duty and Epic Mickey, we had a whole lot drop on us and with massive names in the mix. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead and Gori: Cuddly Carnage also got a nice highlight out there and then there is the Five Nights At Freddy’s celebration going on add into so much out there. Not to mention new video games coming from Tarsier Studios in the mix of things too. Read More...

A fun little bit if you have been looking forward to how Treyarch is going to press things forward with not only the gameplay but the story when it launches on October 25th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. As it turns out, it looks like there will be some great modes and aspects still in the mix with round-based zombies here again for Call Of Duty. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Asks The Teams To Heed The Call
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of August 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Warhammer New footage of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s multiplayer is out to ask us all to squad up in Warhammer 40,000 We have seen the single-player aspect of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 many times over up to now, and it is now time for us to dig into the multiplayer aspect of the game. Not with a beta test or anything, before you get too excited, but with a nice and long bit of gameplay from Saber Interactive to help highlight what we will be doing in the game when we squad up and heed the call to kill the Xenos. One of the bigger aspects that I am sure is the draw for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and has everyone clamoring for the September 9th release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

Black Myth: Wukong Gets Us All Ready To Confront Our Destiny Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of August 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Black Myth The launch of Black Myth: Wukong is almost here and we have a whole lot of new gameplay to get us ready for the release of Black Myth: Wukong It is crazy to think that we are in the final stages before seeing Black Myth: Wukong fully landing on the PS5 and PC. It feels like it was so very long ago that Game Science blew many minds with the original concept and short clips of what they were working on and now, on August 20th, we will get to see it in full. Sorry, to those looking to play Black Myth: Wukong on the Xbox Series X|S, as that still needs to be ironed out. Thankfully, for all, we have some new gameplay to celebrate this upcoming release and the last bit we are going to get before the game lands in all of our hands. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of August 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The next wave of Zombies in Call Of Duty is on the way with a new cinematic for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Just as we have had for pretty much all of the modern titles in the line, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 is taking us back into the story of the Zombies and expanding that even more. Even if it felt as if it had hit a solid ending many times before now, Treyarch is diving us all back into the story of the Dark Aether and we have a new look at it all. Just in time for Activision to hype up this Call Of Duty title before the October 25th release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead Will Have Us All Hushed For Its Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of August 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
A Quiet Place The release date for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is set with some fun little extras ready to add into A Quiet Place While it might have missed the synergy to launch when the latest film dropped, it looks as if we finally have a release date for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. It is its own game and story that Stormind Games is working on, so it makes a bit of sense to drop it on its own, but synergy can be a great thing. Nonetheless, Saber Interactive has pulled the trigger to let us all know when this next addition to the universe of A Quiet Place will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|s, and PC. That date is now set as October 17th of this year. Read More...

Welcome Back To The Colony With A New Look At The Gothic 1 Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of August 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Gothic Get welcomed further into the Gothic 1 Remake with a long look at what has been upgraded & changed since the original Gothic release The wait for the Gothic 1 Remake is still going and there does not seem to be a release date set down for the game as of yet. That would be the bad news we have out of all of this. The good news, though, is that during the latest THQ Nordic showcase that went down, Alkimia Interactive brought a whole lot of new gameplay to show us and to compare to the original version of Gothic out there from decades ago. All to better show off why we need this newer version of the game in our lives and that we need to head back out to the colony out there in the virtual space. Read More...

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Puts The Arsenal On Full Display
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of July 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Warhammer Dig into more of the arsenal coming in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 to give us all kinds of Warhammer 40,000 weapons Things are still slowly seeping out there for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 as the September 9th release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC looms closer. An odd way to go with it given how fast-paced the game looks in general, but it is the option that Saber Interactive is going with all of that. We have had a few of the weapons and gear dropped in the past, though, and it seems like it is time to show off how we will be able to swap between them all and use them in this Warhammer 40,000 story. That is what this new update is all about and there might even be a little extra gameplay mixed right in to help along with all of that. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of July 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Warhammer The next weapon for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has itself highlighted and it is a Warhammer 40,000 staple The weapons keep on flowing out there as we gear up for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 to launch on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming September 9th. We had the chainsword from before and now Saber Interactive is giving us the next in the base weapons with the Heavy Bolter. The main gun that everyone should know from Warhammer 40,000 up to now. You know, the big gun that fires off a whole lot of rounds really fast so we do not need to close the gap and use that sword. Read More...

TV Review — Star Wars: The Acolyte [Some Spoilers]
by Raymond Bruels [ Thursday, 18th of July 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Acolyte Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Power of Many… Missed Opportunities. Here are my thoughts on The Acolyte (Warning – spoilers!) So, the last episode dropped and after eight weeks of slogging through Star Wars: The Acolyte, I figured it is time to share my thoughts on the show. Overall while I did not care for the series, there were aspects of this show I did appreciate. There has been a lot of online hate leveled at the show, its cast, its writers, and its showrunner Leslye Headland. Some of the complaints I agree with, while others I think are nitpicking and prompted by statements that Headland and Stenberg have made. Read More...
