by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th During PAX East it was teased that Friday The 13th: The Game was changing up Jason's fourth ability to fit in line with Friday The 13th lore, and here it is One of the things a lot of people noticed during the Friday The 13th: The Game panel during PAX was that there was a new ability for Jason that had yet to be shown off and was different than what was in the beta test. People pointed it out and as is normal, Gun Media and Illfonic made note of it but then gave no new information of hints to it all. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th New shot of Friday The 13th's counselors has been placed out there to give us a feel for who we will play in Friday The 13th that's not Jason It's been a wait but here we go with Friday The 13th: The Game getting some more time in the sun. No, we don't have a release date for everyone out there as it is still set for Early 2017, but what we do have is a look at all of the counselors in the game that Illfonic and Gun Media have crafted side-by-side. All ten of our victims counselors are no present for Friday The 13th and all filling their specific roles that have been placed out there for them. The finer details on that have still yet to be disclosed, but at least we have a look at them as we had a look at all of the Jason versions already as well. Read More...

Be Stronger, Faster, & Tougher As The Surge Has A Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge The final release date for The Surge has been set and with it we have another fun CG video for The Surge to celebrate and get us amped up even more It looks like today is the day that we change The Surge's May release date into a solid May 16th release date as it has now been set for us. This was about when I figured that Deck 13 would be looking to release the game, but now it is confirmed and those waiting to give it a good play can now try to shuffle their schedules around to fit it in. There are already a few other great titles listed as launching on the same day, but all in different gameplay styles than The Surge so now you will have options and yet another title to put in when you need to break up the flow or monotony of the others out there. System Shock 3 Has Landed A New Publishing Deal To Secure Its Release
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 15th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
System Shock 3 A new publisher has joined to help System Shock 3 finally come to fruition after System Shock 3 was first confirmed back in 2015 with little else Maybe you remember back in December of 2015 when we finally had word that System Shock 3 was officially in the works or maybe you don't. It has been quite some time since we've hear anything new out of Otherside Entertainment on it and I know it fell on the back-burner for me as well. As it turns out it looks like System Shock 3 is still happening and that Starbreeze will be helping bring the game to market for the PC and "other platforms. Read More...

As has been the case for some time, Gun Media brought a whole lot more to the convention as we all still wait for that Early 2017 release date to finally come so we can start killing everyone on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. In terms of what they actually brought was a look at many of the never seen kills, Locations, and Jasons for Friday The 13th: The Game that Illfonic has been plugging away at so we can all experience the fun. It Is Almost Time To Join The Experiments Of The Crow's Eye
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of March 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
The Crow's Eye New gameplay for The Crow's Eye is here and it looks like the release date has been set for The Crow's Eye as well in a few weeks Earlier in the year here we were treated with a nice little tease for a game called The Crow's Eye. It looked to be an interesting psychological puzzle style game that 3D2 Entertainment was going to test our brains and sanity with and then there wasn't much more of a word from it since. I know it piqued my interest when I saw it and was eagerly waiting to see some solid gameplay and possibly a date to look out for when it would hit my PC. As it turns out though, it looks like both have been answered here as The Crow's Eye will be launching on March 20th here and we also have some solid gameplay to look at and see if it will hold up to the speculations. The Guardians Of The Galaxy Cast Is Here With Gameplay Coming Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of March 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy New screenshots for Guardians Of The Galaxy have been placed out there with word on when we'll see Guardians Of The Galaxy in action before launch We've all been waiting for something to come out officially for the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy title that Telltale Games is working on but since its originally announcement back in December all we've had have been rumors and speculation. Things like the "leak" that we may see the first episode at least before the end of April, the 25th is still the date in rumor, as well as very little on what the game's story will actually revolve around. Given that Marvel has made it clear that their video games don't need to follow the Film and TV franchise continuity if they don't want to, this version of the Guardians Of The Galaxy is rather up in the air and still fraught with mystery. Another New Jason Teased For Friday The 13th: The Game As Pre-Order Bonus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th The pre-order bonus for Friday The 13th: The Game has been shown off in ways of the custom Jason for Friday The 13th crafted by Tom Savini If you've been following along with Friday The 13th: The Game since day one then you may be familiar with the bonus of an extra Jason for the game from the mind of Tom Savini. This is to go above and beyond all of the other versions of the character that Illfonic currently has for the game as well as everything that Gun Media has planned as well. I guess this would fall under planned as the only way to get this version is to pre-order Friday The 13th, but I digress. Read More...

New Gameplay For The Surge Shows How We Are Helping Combat Climate Change
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
The Surge The next gameplay video for The Surge has been released and shows us fourteen more minutes of The Surge and more of the story We've had some gameplay before for The Surge and now it looks like it is high time for us to get some more. Of course we always want more but Deck 13 needs to be able to keep some of it to themselves until May when the game lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Digressing aside though, here we are again with more gameplay for The Surge and this time it is more combat and a few new areas of the game to look at. The first time around I saw that the combat was a bit on the clunky side and barring any real detail it looked a bit broken. Read More...

Time To Go Faster, Baby As Mafia 3's Story Is About To Expand More
by Duke Searles [ Thursday, 2nd of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Mafia 3 New details on Mafia 3's story DLC have popped up and we can all look to see Mafia 3 change a bit before the end of July this year It's hard to imagine that Mafia 3 has been out for so long already and just when you think it is safe to put the fun all behind you…they pull you back in. Sure there have been a few updates here and there with a bit of DLC pumped out from Hangar 13 but the real substance people have been waiting for is to expand the story. That could be just me but that doesn't change the fact that 2K Games has helped it finally come to a reality as Mafia 3 will be getting three new story expansions before the end of July this year. This totally makes that Season Pass purchase worthwhile now and we have some timelines to look forward to now. Read More...
