The Surge A behind the scenes video for The Surge has been released and it gives us more insight into all of the things going on in The Surge that we've questioned In just under two weeks we will be playing The Surge on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC depending on your choice. While we've seen a lot for this action-RPG title so far, I know I've been left with quite a few questions that have been left unanswered by Deck 13 in a few different arenas. Friday The 13th In Friday The 13th: The Game we will get an expanded story for the franchise & we get to see all of Friday The 13th's Jasons we will slay with If you've been following along with Friday The 13th: The Game fairly closely then it should come as no surprise that Illfonic has placed into the maps a few hidden little secrets to be found or dug up. Sure this could go towards all of the items and parts of the map that players could use to survive or kill each other in the maps, but what we are talking about are the hidden little gems that actually expand on the overall story of the franchise. Darksiders Darksiders III has been officially announced after many Darksiders III leaks popped up in preparation for the full reveal of the game All of those hopes and prayers have been answered as Darksiders III has just been announced by THQ Nordic and is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. Yes, this is not a drill or more wishful thinking based on the remasters we saw recently from Gunfire Games and such. The Surge We have more gameplay for The Surge and this also gives us all some more of the combat for The Surge just a bit before the game's launch Here we go with more combat for The Surge to get us all ready for its release on May 16th. This is something we've seen a whole lot of over the last few months and weeks as Deck 13 has been showcasing one of the bigger features in the limb severing system they have in the game to make everything insanely deadly. That is at least one of the goals here for The Surge and hopefully it will make more sense when we get the game in our hands as I am still a bit confused on if it is a targeting system or just the luck of the draw kind of system based on where you hit. Friday The 13th We have another huge information dump for Friday The 13th: The Game that shows off the final versions of the counselors in Friday The 13th & other updates There is still no solid release date for Friday The 13th: The Game but that doesn't mean that the updates are going to stop rolling in at all. Gun Media is still waiting for all of the certifications to go through for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game and it looks like there was a whole lot that has yet to have been shown off from that build that Illfonic has put together. The Surge It is official that The Surge has hit gold status and it also looks like The Surge will be getting some PS4 Pro updates at launch and soon after I could have sworn this was news before but none the less it looks like The Surge has officially gone to gold status for us all. Pretty much locking in the release date that we have been given before from Deck 13 for the game, but now there is no take backs. It is set and final and now we can all sit back and wait for The Surge to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 16th. It's done, set, and getting ready to be packaged up and shipped out. Read More...

Fallout Things out in the rumor mill about Fallout are pointing to Bethesda announcing a new open-world Fallout game at E3 this year Sometimes it’s cool to wonder and speculate. When Bethesda did their first big E3 press conference they unveiled the long anticipated Fallout 4 in a mighty fine fashion. I was just as surprised to see them making it an annual thing with BE3 2017 confirmed just a few months ago. Now I wouldn’t expect them to keep showing up unless they have something huge coming. The Surge The limb cutting mechanic for The Surge has a new trailer to try and show it off as well as the loot and crafting system that The Surge will employ Here we go with yet another video for The Surge and this time it is slated toward a mechanic I have been trying to wrap my head around in the game. Deck 13 has stated that there is a limb cutting mechanic in the game and has shown it off a few times before. From what I've seen in the past for The Surge it looks like just how it sounds as limbs do come off when hit, but what I have yet to understand is just how we do this without just flailing wild and hoping for the best. Friday The 13th It has just been announced that Friday The 13th: The Game will allow Jason the ability to use traps to further the horror of Friday The 13th matches We are supposed to be getting into the final stretch of Friday The 13th: The Game based on the update from last week, or at least that was the assumption based on Gun Media's thoughts of Early 2017, but that has not seemed to stop the updates and changes coming to the game. Last week we saw the new ability for Jason that Illfonic has put together for us, and now we get to see another addition to Jason to make him even deadlier.
