Backrooms The release date for Backrooms Level X is set down and it looks as if this version of the Backrooms will hit more platforms It does feel like it has been a bit of a wait as we still wait for the final version of Backrooms Level X to finally drop out there on the PC. Dead By Daylight The next survivor for Dead By Daylight is on the way with a few other updates coming to Dead By Daylight along the way It feels like it is about that time that we had a new Survivor in the mix for Dead By Daylight and this time it is a new one just for the IP. Maybe Behaviour has slowed down the crossover characters for a bit longer now, but this is a great thing as we have a wholly new character entering the Fog and helping us all survive just a bit longer. Not that the others in Dead By Daylight do not do the same, but none of them seem to be EMTs who are fully trained for all of this. Funko A physical edition for Funko Fusion is on the way to the Nintendo Switch to give Funko fans a whole lot more to experience The popper of The Pop! carries onward as we have one more release on the way for Funko Fusion and heading specifically to the Nintendo Switch. A new and physical edition of the game is on the way from 10:10 Games specifically to give those players something else to add into their collection out there, as well as give them the "definitive" version of the game to experience out there. There is no clear reason why the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC are not getting the same treatment, but it is what it is. Once Upon A Puppet The launch of Once Upon A Puppet is finally here and we have one more push to get us all into Once Upon A Puppet We are finally at the day where the story begins and we can start to make our way right through Once Upon A Puppet. Not that we are not going to have the full story by the end of it all with Flatter Than Earth and Daedalic giving us the full game today (April 23rd, 2025). We are getting just that, but it does sound like there is much more to the story than we have been led to believe for Once Upon A Puppet. SPINE New gameplay for SPINE is here to announce SPINE is coming to the Switch 2 as well as a new mode we will be able to play the game in The Gun Fu is going to be landing on yet another platform out there when SPINE hits, as it is now on the way to the Nintendo Switch 2. At least that is the plan for when Nekki is able to get the full game released out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as well. For Hire There is always a fun thing developers can do when it comes to the weapons in shooter titles, and it looks like Mouse: P.I. Here is our review of half of Carmen Sandiego The Carmen Sandiego IP is certainly one that has been around for a while and holds a place in so many hearts out there for those who have been gaming since the 80s when the original title dropped out there. A solid way for kids to learn about the world and other bits of history from HarperCollins Productions and then spinning off into so many other titles and media as well. Tony Hawk There is more of the Tony Hawk fun coming out there with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 heading to the Switch 2 as well It should come as no surprise that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is now on the way to the Nintendo Switch 2. This most likely would have been part of the original announcement for the game if Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision did not have to wait for the new console to get its official showcase, but that is a whole different can of worms. We now know that it is officially coming and not going to be part of some backwards play for those who are picking it up on the original Switch. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This certainly was one week of video games out there to help distract us all from the horrors of the real world once again. Not only did we get to see new horrors like Finding Frankie and Amber Alert get some highlights, but we also were able to see something for Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 and the full announcement for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the mix of all of these video games out there. Even if it does look and sound like many are going to have to wait longer for that console to finally launch out there. Switch 2 The full overview for the Nintendo Switch 2 is finally here and we also have a release date to go with all of this for Switch 2 The day has finally come and we have been given all of the details for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. No more speculation and we have some confirmations that things are as they seemed in the teaser. Like the fact that the Joy-Con 2 controllers are magnetically attached to the screen now and a few of the other basics about it. Split Fiction Another way to play Split Fiction is on the way with the announcement that Split Fiction will be coming to Switch 2 Here we go with some good news out there for those having issues finding others to play Split Fiction with them. It looks like we are going to have a whole new console opening up its doors to allow for more of the cross-platform play with Hazelight Studios bringing the game on over to the Nintendo Switch 2. That will require more gamers to pick up the new console, sure, but there is already a massive subsection of gamers who are full in on the platform and will not deviate so that should be an easy sell. Amber Alert A new physical edition for Amber Alert is on the way with the PS5 the only one to truly see this new Amber Alert The release for Amber Alert happened last year and then there was the console version announced for the game not long ago. All so we all can have a better shot at playing the game that MEATBREAD cobbled together for us.
