by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Black Ops 3 We Sit Down And Review Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's campaign mode. Does it advance the overall franchise or does it leave us all wanting more? Here's our review of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 [Campaign Mode] Another year down and another installment to the Call Of Duty franchise in the way of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3. The big difference this time around is that Treyarch has tried to make this year's game more than just a multiplayer and campaign only title. We get so much in Black Ops 3 that it can't all be covered in one review but in multiple. Read More...

Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Minecraft We Sit Down And Review Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required. This Is The Second Episode Of Telltale's Take On Mojang's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did That was a crazy turnaround time for this episode of Minecraft: Story Mode to be released. Usually it takes at least a month or two before Telltale Games is giving us another episode to whet our whistles and this time we all had a nice two week or so turn around. Kudos to them and I hope they keep pushing the Mojang inspired story out to us in the same manner. Until then though we get a nice look at Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required as we dig into our continued review of this episodic franchise. Read More...

Review — Guitar Hero Live
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live We Sit Down And Review Guitar Hero Live. Things Have Been Changed Up Quite A Bit This Time Around To Make The Franchise Feel New; But Does It Pay Off? Here's Our Review Of Guitar Hero Live Looks like the rhythm game is trying to make a comeback and now we have the other main competitor in the way of Guitar Hero Live. This franchise is one of the ones that made the whole genre as popular as it has become over the years, even with its short hiatus, and FreeStyleGames is bringing it back to try and bring new life into the franchise. Not only is it a new game with, technically, new songs but Guitar Hero Live adds in a few new features and mechanics to said genre but do they help or hinder in the long run? Read More...

With all of those additions to our favorite video games and all the news out of Paris Games Week it has been a bumpy ride here. We had Outlast 2's theme shown off and a release window. Destiny used the same old treats to entice players to stay playing instead of celebrating. We also had two reviews with Rock Band 4 and Tales From The Borderlands' season finale. Read More...

Here's Our Review of Rock Band 4 It has been some time coming and now we have Rock Band 4 released and in the hands of all the rhythm game fans out there who wanted this revival. I know I was among the ranks there and was glad to see that Harmonix had listened to us and brought Rock Band 4 to light. I am also glad that I was able to get my hands on the final version of the game and was able to experience the title that is the start or bringing more music to video games. Read More...

Blood Bowl We Sit Down And Review Blood Bowl II. It's a fun twist on the popular sport Football in a fantasy world but is that enough? Here's Our Review of Blood Bowl II If you ever wondered what the game of football would be like in the medieval fantasy world of Warhammer you may have had that answered with Blood Bowl already. Skylanders We Sit Down And Review Skylanders SuperChargers. Does the addition of vehicles drive the franchise forward or just add more toys to the ever-growing shelf? Here's Our Review of Skylanders SuperChargers It's been another year and that means that it is time for more toys-to-life video games with the addition of Skylanders SuperChargers to the ever-growing franchise. Skylanders are back from Vicarious Visions and this time they have brought vehicles to mix things up and try to stop the evil lord Kaos in his tracks. Review — SOMA
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
SOMA We Sit Down And Review SOMA. Is It Worth Your Time? Is it the horror title that will bring the genre back to fun? Here's Our Review Of Soma As we move into the month of horror there has been one title I have been excited to dive into and it is SOMA. It looks like the best melding of Dead Space and BioShock by Frictional Games with a bit of higher thinking and philosophy mixed in. I won't delve into that too much as it is one of the pivotal aspects of SOMA and I'll keep this as spoiler free as possible but it did capture my eye. Now that September 22nd has come and past I have been able to play SOMA on the PS4 and it is time for my formal review of the game and if it will do what the videos and promos have claimed thus far. This Week In Video Games 9/21/15 — 9/25/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of September 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It's always a great week in video games when you get to use a phrase like "butt theatrics" because it is used in a video game. It is also a good week here when you get to see a whole butt-load of Fallout 4 and Rise Of The Tomb Raider news hit the web. To go one step further it is another great week in video games when we were able to get out our review for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and sing all of the praises that we had for the game as it ate away at our time here. Other video games had to suffer for that one but it was completely worth it. Read More...

The Phantom Pain We Sit Down And Review Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Is It Worth Your Time? Is it the conclusion to Kojima's version of the franchise we wanted? Here's Our Review Of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain We have finally made it to the conclusion of an era as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain marks the final part of the franchise being helmed by Hideo Kojima. It has been a long road and a rough one for those over at Kojima Productions but The Phantom Pain is here and we get to see if they put Konami's money to great use here. Ground Zeroes was a great, and small, taste of what The Phantom Pain could be and now it is time to see if all the teasing, hardships, and waiting have paid off. Read More...

Escape Plan Bravo, that's the name of the fourth episode of Tales From The Borderlands, has been initiated and has been for at least a week at the time of writing this. It had a lot to live up to and it is time to see how it did as we review Tales From The Borderlands — Escape Plan Bravo and let you know what we think of this next to last addition to the franchise. Here's Our Review On How They've Done So Far It's been some time since we last had a good King's Quest and the wait is finally over as we have the next installment to the franchise. This time the developer role has moved over to The Odd Gentlemen and the game is no longer a point-and-click adventure but Sierra Entertainment has kept their eyes closely upon it to try and keep it in the same vein as fans would want and expect.
