Review — Game Of Thrones: A Nest of Vipers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Game Of Thrones: A Nest of Vipers. This Is The Fifth Episode Of Telltale's Take On HBO's Famed TV Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They've Done So Far We are quickly coming to the end of Game Of Thrones from Telltale Games and it has been one hell of a ride. Only one more episode to go now as A Nest of Vipers, the fifth of the six episodes, hit the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC starting on July 21st. I am still hoping to see a few of these have HBO show tie ins but as of now it is all in the game. The last episode left me wanting and now we get to see if Game Of Thrones is going to fill that void or leave me wanting more. Read More...

Review — The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter. Is It Worth Your Time? Did it upgrade to the new engine and platform well? Here's Our Review of The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter Originally The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter came out on the PC last year using the Unreal 3 Engine to extremely decent reviews. It is an interesting indie story game from The Astronauts that is more of an exploration experience and puzzle solving thing than anything you may think given the trailers but a game none the less. The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter was well received none the less and this drove the team to upgrade the game to Unreal 4 engine as well as bring it to the PS4. Read More...

Review — Tales From The Borderlands: Catch A Ride
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Catch A Ride. This is the third episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did It is a long cycle for new episodes of Tales From The Borderlands to be released but we've had the third episode of the series released and I've finally had the time to sit down and give the extra story bit a play through. I mean the second episode of Tales From The Borderlands landed in March and this one landed near the end of June. At least there wasn't a delay between all of the platforms here and everyone who has a PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Gaming PC were able to play through the next bit. Read More...

Review — Hatred
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Hatred. Is It Worth Your Time or was it all PR hype to grab your attention with the hyper-violence? Here's Our Review of Hatred If there has been one title recently that has made a huge splash in a short amount of time it was Hatred. This is the twin-stick shooter title from Destructive Creations that was denied on Steam and then allowed back after much outcry. Mainly all of the negative press being aimed toward the ultra-violence that is portrayed in this AO title only on PC that has garnered its claim to fame but we had a chance to give it a good solid play through and we have our own thoughts on Hatred. Without gilding the lily any longer or pissing off the game's protagonist much more, here is our review for Hatred. Read More...

Review — Fallout Shelter
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 29th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We sit back And Review Fallout Shelter. This of course being the nice little distraction on mobile devices until Fallout 4 releases. Let's see if it is worth our time or not This won't be an overly long review since Fallout Shelter is only of a mobile game but they are a lot of good things I like about this game so I am going to start with the few small gripes I have with Fallout Shelter. To start things off Fallout Shelter is a little buggy and crashes randomly on my girlfriend's iPad that is only a few years old. I am sure this is an easy fix and Bethesda Game Studios will get it fixed in short order when a new update is rolled out. Read More...

A Not So Full Review — Batman: Arkham Knight [PC]
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 29th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We Tried To Sit Down And Review Batman: Arkham Knight but sadly the PC version has made that impossibility. Here's what I have to say on the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight I received my copy of Batman: Arkham Knight when I bought my new GTX 960 SCC 4GB edition. I had never played the previous three Arkham games or any spin-offs and was quite looking forward to diving in to such a praised franchise from Rocksteady Games to review it without having the others to compare it to. Though after spending a day downloading the game… it crashed on startup. I'm not the only one who has been burned by the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. Read More...

Review — The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Is It Worth Your Time? Does it hold up to all of the hype we've had? Here's Our Review of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt It's been a long time coming but The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has released and we have had a chance to dig into the game. It has been touted to have over two hundred hours of gameplay and stuffed to the brim with all kinds of extra content to enjoy. Not only that but all versions of the game have been out there to impress visually as well as audibly. This of course begs the question: Does The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt wild hunt live up the hype we've had over the years? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of May 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This week seemed to fly right by but that doesn't mean there wasn't a whole lot to cover in the world of video games by any means. We had a bunch of release date announcements for SOMA, Until Dawn and Wander. We had some new games announced in the way of Perception and What Remains Of Edith Finch. Then a whole mess of new video and information for Batman: Arkham Knight. Like I said, short week but way too much going on in the world of video games. Read More...

Review — Game Of Thrones: Sons Of Winter
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Game Of Thrones: Sons Of Winter. This Is The Fourth Episode Of Telltale's Take On HBO's Famed TV Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They've Done So Far We are back into the world of Westeros with Game Of Thrones: Sons Of Winter even though it may have taken quite a bit of time since the last episode came out for the game. I truly do wish that Telltale would alter their release schedule so we don't have to wait so long between like we did for Sons Of Winter but I don't see that happening soon nor should we discuss it as we are here for the latest review for Game Of Thrones. Did it add to the overall experience or was it another let down to make us question why we are doling out cash for this? Read More...

We Sit Down And Review Game Of Thrones: The Sword In The Darkness. This is the third episode of Telltale's take on HBO's famed TV franchise. Here's our review on how they've done so far Fresh off the last episode of Telltale's Game Of Thrones we have the third episode The Sword In The Darkness. There was a rather quick turnaround on this episode which is good but did the episode suffer at all from the speed or does it help keep us all engaged as the TV version of the franchise is coming back soon? Well we sat down and played through the latest episode of Game Of Thrones so you can gauge if this needs to bump to the top of the play list or you can leave it be for a little longer. Without more gilding the lily let us get into our review for Game Of Thrones: The Sword In The Darkness. Read More...

Review — Slender: The Arrival (PS4)
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of March 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Slender: The Arrival. The cult classic has made its way to the PS4 and Xbox One so lets see how it translated. Here's our review on how they've done so far The insanity of Slender: The Arrival has finally hit the next gen systems to overtake and put the fear into a whole new group of gamers on the PS4 and Xbox One. It's been two years since PC gamers had the fright put on them and just under a year since PS3 and Xbox 360 players have experienced Slender: The Arrival. There have been new story elements added into the game for the next generation but is that what was needed to sell the game to a new audience? Read More...

Review — Tales From The Borderlands: Atlas Mugged
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Atlas Mugged. This is the second episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did It has been some time since we had the first episode for Tales From The Borderlands. In fact we had four holidays and a whole lot of snow in between the first episode and the second one. This scared me somewhat as the first episode was so well done that I thought all future episodes for Tales From The Borderlands were going to take this long to perfect. I truly hope they don't. Review — Shiftlings
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Shiftlings. Is it worth your time? Do the quirky puzzles work out? Here's Our Video Review On the outside Shiftlings doesn't look like it does much to the puzzle and platforming genre for video games. Looks can and are deceiving all the time though and Rock Pocket Games is setting out to give us something we haven't experienced in a while for those two genres. Do they succeed? Do they fail?
