It wouldn't be Mortal Kombat without Shang Tsung. We all know he is in the game, but wouldn't you like to see/hear his story in this outing? How different can it be from all of the older titles? Ah The Mean Streets Of L.A. Noire...

There is nothing like see the dirty underbelly of the streets and police force. It totally gives me the warm and fuzzy feeling in my belly. For once, one of the trailers for L.A. Noire has actually been able to get me to lose some doubt. Well, at least the doubt in how the audio mixes in with the visuals. As I have said before, to me the audio seems just way too high quality when mixed in. Not that either the visuals and audio are bad, but they just didn't seem to meld well. Read More...

Who Is AMY? Besides A New Survival Horror For The PSN...

So we heard a little about this a few months ago. A new survival horror on the PSN called Amy. There have been a few screens thrown up for our approval, but then there has been nothing much. This is odd seeing as VectorCell Studios and Lexis Numérique are aiming for a June 2011 release. You'd think we would have more, which ends the lead in here. Today we are given just a bit more on AMY, a game that seems to be all about one of the things that are despised in Survival Horror games; escort missions. A Cloverfiled Look At Inversion

A few months ago I brought you a look at Inversion, Namco's upcoming game that give you use over the fundamental forces of gravity. There was a teaser. There were a few screen shots. There was even a Feb 7th 2012 date given for the game. Fun stuff… Looks like the early promotions are continuing, only this time it has nothing really all that new for the game. It's Time For Mortal Kombat!

It is official. Mortal Kombat has gone gold. We no longer have to worry about major delays or cancelations. Not that we were at all. It is no Duke Nukem Forever or anything. Am I right? Huh? Huh…? Now as we wait for April 19th to slowly work its way to us, we get to pass the time looking at screens and videos. That is if you have played the demo to death since it came out. Cutting Wires And Fisticuffs In Battlefield 3

So here we go with the third "episode" of game play trailers for Battlefield 3. This time it would seem a basic "disarm a bomb" task goes a little awry and turns into an all out shoot and destroy everything mission. Who would have thought that following a wire into an enemy "hideout" would turn into such madness and violence? I do have to say that out of all of these clips, this one impresses me the most with visuals. The immersion factor, even for just being a video, was cranked up because of the lighting and textures of the vents and underground room. Read More...

Review: Killzone 3

Here we go again. It's time to try and end this conflict between the I.S.A. and the Helghast once and for all. Picking up right after the events of Killzone 2, we are thrust right back into the mix of it in Killzone 3. All to meet the end of saving Earth from the new tech and tactics of the Helghast who are still hell-bent on doing just that. Outside of being a continuation, Killzone 3 is also one of the titles that Sony seems to be relying on to show off their tech and hardware capabilities. Yet Another Version Of Resident Evil 4 For Us To Buy

Good news for you Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X fans out there who enjoy purchasing every version of the titles possible. Just announced is a new HD version for both titles that will be coming to XBox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network sometime this fall. Just in case you felt like you missed out after playing them before with lower resolution graphics and audio. As of right now, there is no mention of price, but there is one bit of info out there. Time To See How Kratos Will Handle The Mortal Kombat Universe

PS3 Mortal Kombat fans have been teased too long with the fact that Kratos will be a console exclusive character. Teased with the knowledge, but nothing as far as substantial in-game footage. That is until now as there is a new trailer out showing some of his moves and animations. Color me impressed with this new view of the character. From the looks of trailer, it is fully upgraded Kratos from God of War III that is know fighting against mortals for the pleasure of Shao Kahn and himself. At least that would be the only reason I can see him fighting in the tournament as Kratos really doesn't seem to care what happens to his world. Read More...

X-Men: Destiny Is Going To Be Filled With Teenage Angst

If there already wasn't enough of this or conflict in the X-Universe, it looks like new comer Aimi Yoshida will be bringing her own to X-Men: Destiny. Aimi being the most recent character brought out for the game's character roster. A small Asian female who was "abandoned" by her parents. Granted it was so she was not rounded up with all the other mutants in Japan, but what teenage girl would not hold onto those issues to give her a reason to be bitter and angry? Funny thing is I'd be bitterer about the thing that was forcing the label on me, the mutant power. Her power, from what has been given so far, is that she specializes in efficient mutant power usage. It is time to travel back to the early Burning Times. A time when religious superstition and fears drove many good and innocent people to the gallows or to a public burning at the stake. A time depicted and twisted for Game Republic and Namco Bandai's most recent endeavor, Knights Contract. In Knights Contract you play Heinrich Hofmann, an experienced witch-executioner plagued by a curse of immortality, who charged with the task of protecting a witch by the name of Gretchen as she attempts to save the world.
