The ERSB has posted the explanation for why Batman: Arkham Knight is being rated 'M' for mature and it is more violence based The fact that Batman: Arkham Knight has been set as a 'M' rated title came as a bit of shock to many when we first heard about it. Up until now Rocksteady has kept everything at least a 'T' for Teen rating with all of the past Arkham titles and I am sure that Warner Bros. wanted to keep it that way as bumping the rating could and most likely will exclude some players and fans of the franchise from experiencing Batman: Arkham Knight. I feel for you up until the point of me getting an awesome and dark game for my PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

At PAX East Boss Key showed off a pre-alpha teaser for Project BlueStreak, the developer's first title currently in the works If you missed out the first look at Project BlueStreak during PAX East then you are in luck as we are here to help you out. It looks like Boss Key Productions, the studio started by Cliff Bleszinski after he retired and then came back into game development, only wanted to make those who were able to attend the panel during the convention feel special for a few days as now the whole world can see the non-pirated video. Okay, that may be a little harsh if taken out of context but none the less we have the first pre-alpha teaser for Project BlueStreak which is the developers first upcoming title that will be, as we could guess, an FPS using the Unreal 4 engine to build an run the whole thing. I'm sure you want to see what is in store for us with Project BlueStreak and the high frame-rate that Boss Key wants to ensure we have with the game so I'll let you have a watch. Read More...

Battlefield Hardline's release is upon us and Visceral Games with EA have released the launch trailer to tantalize us all more Battlefield Hardline is out in just over a week so you know what time it is? LAUNCH TRAILER TIME! Now queue the wacky sounds and inappropriate screams as we move on to watch what Visceral Games and EA have to show us to try and lure in those who are still holding out on Battlefield Hardline. This goes double for all of you out there who are bitching that it will only come with the resolution of 900p on the PS4 and 720p to the Xbox One. Most of you won't even see the difference but those in the know throw around the numbers and you latch on as you know the difference. Read More...

The second episode for Tales From The Borderlands has a release date and a new trailer showing off some of the action we can all look forward to It's been some time since we had the last episode of Tales From The Borderlands hit our gaming machines. I guess it would be the first episode and there has been almost a 5 month gap in between which sadly looks like it is placing Tales From The Borderlands on the same level as releases for The Wolf Among Us. Maybe I am being a bit harsh here but this is one of my favorite titles from Telltale as of late and didn't want to have to wait until March 17th for the second episode. Yes, that is the date that we will be getting the second episode for the game. Read More...

CD Projekt Red has released some new gameplay footage for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that was shown to fans during PAX East over the weekend Another year and another PAX East in the bag that was filled with all kinds of new videos like the following one for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The people over at CD Projekt Red sure do love to show off all they have for this game so far and they have treated us all to another seven or so minutes of gameplay for the game. Just the kind of thing we've all been waiting for as we have to wait so much longer to actually start to dig into the 100+ hours of gameplay that The Witcher 3 is being claimed to have. Unlike other titles out there, even though we've had hours of gameplay shown over the last years of time this doesn't feel like we have seen all of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before the launch. New leaked screenshots and emails claim that PlayStation may be starting up a firmware beta program for the PS4 on the 2.50 update It looks like, if rumors are true, that MVP PlayStation 4 owners may be getting a firmware beta testing program. I state rumors as this information is all based on a few emails and screenshots that have been spread online showing off that this is fact and a few things that may be included in the next PS4 firmware release. This would be the 2.50 version and not some small "stability" update as these images and everything detail a few new features we may be getting on the PS4 in the near future. Read More...

During the Blizzard PAX East Panel it was revealed that there are two new characters for their upcoming shooter Overwatch In case you were not able to catch what Blizzard had to show for Overwatch at PAX East, then you should know that there have been two new characters announced for the game. Not too surprising given the past of Overwatch and the fact that we all want to have as many options when it comes to our shooters online. Especially when it is all team based and set in a pretty fantastical world. This now brings us up to 14 "heroes" total to choose from in Overwatch. Read More...

From recent interviews and screenshots it looks like Mortal Kombat X may include playable Johnny Cage and Blind Kenshi Others are stating that it has been confirmed that Johnny Cage will be coming back for Mortal Kombat X. Others as in other outlets who are basing this all off of a recent interview, that has been pulled offline by Warner Bros., where one of the senior producers on Mortal Kombat X stated directly that Johnny would be playable in the full version of the game. This interview comes from Game Crate and has been spread all over by now but it looks like the PR cleanup crew has been doing their job to keep character announcements on their terms and not a slip up by some of the people working on the game. The new Ultimate Survival Bundle DLC for Dying Light is coming out and it adds some cool weapons and character outfits What game wouldn't be made better by adding in ninjas? Dying Light already has all of the zombies and basic maneuvering of ninjas so it makes sense and they are coming in the next DLC bundle on March 10th. Yes, this is part of the Ultimate Survivor Bundle that is part of the Season Pass or available for $5 if you so want to choose. Of course this DLC doesn't only have ninjas, nor does it add them in the way you may want as it is all in the form of character outfits. Read More...

Early footage of Alien Isolation has popped up to show that we could have experienced the whole game in a third person mode instead Hopefully by now you've had a chance to experience Alien Isolation from Sega and Creative Assembly. It was and still is a spectacular addition to the franchise and well worth the price of purchase. It had all the fear in the right place. It had all the action in the right place. Read More...

Rock Band 4 has been officially announced by Harmonix and is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One this year It's been rumored and speculated on and now we can confirm that Rock Band is making the jump to the PS4 and Xbox One via Rock Band 4. Granted this isn't in any shape of an HD "remaster" of any past version as the speculation pointed at, it is a whole new Rock Band for the next generation consoles. The next best part about this announcement is that Rock Band 4 will be hitting our homes sometime this year. The best guess will be sometime around November or December of this year but Harmonix has claimed that Rock Band 4 will be out in 2015. Read More...

While confirming the release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Konami also has released a look at the collector's edition and new details for the MGO mode we've seen in the past Yesterday we had the "leaked" announcement of the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's release date and to no big surprise it has been confirmed by Konami that it is going to be September 1st. That's not why we are here though. What was further confirmed was that we are getting a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain collector's edition for the game and it includes a replica of Snake's mechanical arm. Read More...

Bethesda has announced that they are releasing a new prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order titled Wolfenstein: The Old Blood There is no doubt that Wolfenstein: The New Order was an amazing addition and revitalization to the franchise. In fact it was so good I wanted to play through twice not for the deviating story lines but to enjoy it all again. Well it looks like we are getting even more from Bethesda and MachineGames as they have just announced a prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order titled Wolfenstein: The Old Blood due out on May 5th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Sorry to all of those last-gen users who loved the game. Read More...
