It looks like EA couldn't hold back another week as now we have Mirror's Edge Catalyst officially announced and it is not Mirror's Edge 2 If you were holding your breath for any updates on Mirror's Edge 2… please stop as you will be killing yourself as we are not getting that game. Don't fret though as we are still getting a Mirror's Edge title as EA and DICE have promised in the past but in this instance it looks like the franchise is getting rebooted in sorts. Just before E3 it looks like Microsoft has some new hardware in the way of a 1TB Xbox One and a new Xbox One wireless controller Usually Microsoft waits until their big E3 showcase to announce anything new with their hardware but it looks like we are getting a new Xbox One announcement a little early. A new look at Batman: Arkham Knight's Red Hood DLC has been released and it shows a bit more why Batman: Arkham Knight is rated M for Mature now If you are looking to squeeze all the story you can out of Batman: Arkham Knight then you might want to look into pre-ordering the game to make sure you have most of it from day one. Yes, Rocksteady has talked about pumping out more story DLC as the cycle of Batman: Arkham Knight pushes on but it looks like the Red Hood DLC for the game is a GameStop exclusive. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games What a week we have had in video games here huh? We had Fallout 4 officially announced. We had XCOM 2officially announced. We had a whole lot of Batman: Arkham Knight news and videos. We even were able to get a whole bunch more on some new video game characters in the way of Overwatch and Drawn To Death. All of those characters have yet to be seen in a video games as of yet so they are all knew to us and deserving of the time. Another Arkham Insider has been released to detail more about Batman: Arkham Knight and this time it is a look at how Batman has changed to fight said Arkham Knight The days are fleeting away as we get closer to the release of Batman: Arkham Knight. That is good for two reasons. One of which being that our PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC will be full of all kind of Batman goodness real soon. The other reason being that Rocksteady really wants to show off Batman: Arkham Knight and that means more and more to look at as we wait. The first major character bio for Drawn To Death has been released out to the world and it details Drawn To Death's Johnny Savage with moves and a bit of backstory Up until now we have had a very basic story and character breakdown for Drawn To Death. Bartlet Jones has given us some between last year's PSX show and now but nothing too substantial. I'm guessing this is partly because they were still working on all of the kinks and partly because they wanted to have something amazingly over the top to show off at E3. One of the worst kept secrets in the way of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection has been confirmed and will house all of the Uncharted goodness As it has been said, we asked for it and now we are getting it; Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is coming and it will be a PS4 remastering of all of the titles in the console franchise of Uncharted. Note I said console franchise as Bluepoint Games is only doing the work for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Yes, we are finally getting a full on sequel to the franchise that is going to build off XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
