The full release of Hell Is Us is finally coming and we do not have much longer to wait for Hell Is Us We finally are in the home stretch to see what Hell Is Us is going to offer up to the world, as we have a final release date for the game. After it was revealed back in 2022, and missed the original timelines that Rogue Factor and NACON set down for the game, we only have a few more months to see how this third-person action game is going to play out. As long as you are ready to pick up Hell Is Us on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC this coming September 4th. That is, as long as the release date for the game does not shift or anything else happens to slow down the development process of the game. Read More...

The next trailer for Until Dawn is out there and it looks like there are more time shenanigans coming in Until Dawn’s movie It looks like we are going to be stuck in more time here with the Until Dawn movie when it hits theaters on April 25th. That is, of course, based on the latest trailer we have for the film to see how Sony Pictures is going about adapting the Supermassive Games title. It still feels odd to have something so vastly different given that Until Dawn originally played out like a movie when in video game form, but choices were made. Now, we are going to be caught in this wicked time loop and maybe see some other things go down based around time. Read More...

A new Darwin is on the way to us in the world with the reveal of Darwin’s Paradox! coming to us all I do not think that many out there had the reveal of a game like Darwin’s Paradox! on their list for 2025, but here we are. A new title from ZDT Studio and Konami that will be offering us all a new action-platformer title in the mix for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Currently, it is slated to be some time down the road, but that does not mean we do have anything to get excited about as of yet. Out of the State Of Play that just went down, we had a chance to see Darwin’s Paradox! Read More...

The release date for The Midnight Walk is now set down and we will soon get to take that Midnight Walk they are talking about Grab your torch and get ready to head out into the world of The Midnight Walk. Well, more get ready now to head out there as MoonHood and Fast Travel Games just announced the release date for the game and we still have a little time to wait. It is just always good to get early, even if we will not see The Midnight Walk until May 8th for it to open up on the PS5 and PC for the PSVR2 and VR headsets respectively. If you want to have a new style of title in the virtual space with all of the visuals coming from real-world claymation with all of the video game fun. Read More...

The next season of Twisted Metal will be streaming soon and we have a taste of the upcoming Twisted Metal tournament taking place We all lost our minds when the second season of Twisted Metal was announced and we had a bit of a teaser a while back. At least, I'd like to think most of us lost our minds as this Peacock show was vastly better than most were expecting it to be. Now, we are back and looking at how things are going to progress into the next season. The season that will officially give us the Twisted Metal tournament I know some were hoping to see before. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Yet another week to place into the books and so many video games and other things to talk about out there. Even if we did mainly get to the games during the week, but more on that later. Especially since it feels rare that we get an update for Bloodlines 2 and then have so many announcements flow out of the State Of Play this week. Updates for video games like Borderlands 4, Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic, and The Alters. Read More...

Days Gone fans will soon be able to play the game natively on the PS5 with the announcement for Days Gone Remastered It only took a good chunk of time, but it looks like the PS5 and PC will soon get its Days Gone Remastered. A title I know I have been waiting for after playing what Bend Studio gave us a while back and then had to replay it backwards after the PS5 came out. On April 25th, though, that all ends as the remaster will hit us and offer up all of those fun new things that the latest hardware out there can handle. Along with a few new features some wanted in the original Days Gone but never truly received. Read More...

The release date for Borderlands 4 is now set with Borderlands fans getting their fill this coming September It has been a rough go for the IP as of late and many have been waiting to see how Borderlands 4 is going to shake out on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That is why it looks like we have some fun news to hand out from 2K with Borderlands 4 getting its release date set down. A release date that will be placing this title in our homes on September 23rd. Read More...

New story details for Split Fiction are out there with Split Fiction diving further into character backgrounds Now that Split Fiction is coming down to the wire on when we will be able to play it on our PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, let us get more of that story out there. Not that Hazelight Studios did not offer up a bunch of stories before now, but I am guessing that EA really wants us ready to pick it all up on March 6th. That is why we are digging a little further into the different reasons that Mio and Zoe have written their stories and we will need to survive them in Split Fiction. Even if it would be nice to have had all of this fed out as we were able to dig into the story for ourselves. Read More...

The next wave of Five Nights At Freddy’s is coming soon with the release date set for Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic It is the IP that just cannot be put down and we get to see just how the lasting power is holding up with the release date set for Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The story for Directive 8020 has been revealed along with when we can expect to play Directive 8020 with a release date It feels like it has been forever since we had any updates for Directive 8020 out there, and now here we are with some massive ones. Almost as if Supermassive Games was in the background changing and tweaking things to add in things they have learned along the way. Hence why it looks as if we have lost the Dark Pictures part to the title so that Directive 8020 can be something to stand on its own. Not that we are losing some of that, but worth noting as we dive into the story that we have for the game as we wait for it to release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 2nd. Read More...

New updates for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 show off how we will need to keep our Vampires hidden in Bloodlines 2 The visual updates for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 have been a little on the slow side out there, that is for sure, but the descriptive ones have been flowing like fine blood. That is why it is interesting to see that The Chinese Room is here to give us all a little bit more of a look at the Seattle they are building for Paradox Interactive. Not just in the way of the environment but how the gameplay system of The Masquerade will work in Bloodlines 2. Read More...

Get ready to sample some of what the Backrooms has to offer up with the new demo out for Backrooms Level X The official demo for Backrooms Level X is finally here and ready to take us down a dark path in the world. One that will dig further into this weird world that has been explored in many bits of media so far and now with Firenut Games giving us all a chance to see what they have been cooking up for it on the PC. All of which digging further into the weirdness and lore of the Backrooms since it became a thing. Another look at Atomfall shows off some of the game features and loops we will be going through when Atomfall launches We are only getting closer to March 27th and the pending release of Atomfall on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, so it is further time to get more details on what we will be experiencing the game when it launches. Not to mention to give those playing on the PS4 and PS5 a bit of a look at what Rebellion is working on for the game as they wait a little longer. That is why we are here once more for Atomfall to show off the world and some of the features that will be on the way to us all when the game gets into our hands. Read More...

The Alters will no longer be hitting us all in Q1 of this year as The Alters is saddled with yet another delay for launch The wait for The Alters… continues as the game has been hit with yet another delay and pushing the launch further away from the Q1 2025 window that was recently set down. That does mean more wait for us but with the extra time, 11 Bit Studios should be able to get it working to a level we will all love and have little to complain about. Maybe even add in more variations for the various Alters in the story of it all so we have much more to experience on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when the game does eventually launch out there fully.
