A Whole Lot More Hacking And Sawing For The Chainsaw Incident
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
There is a new gameplay trailer for The Chainsaw Incident and it shows off everything from the menus to more combat. I have brought up The Chainsaw Incident multiple times before. More and more I am falling in love with the visuals of the game but with this latest pre-alpha game play trailer I think the people over at Crazy Piranha are starting to really get the game mechanics up to snuff. Before the combat looked very sluggish and very 'canned'. Now it looks quite a bit updated but I'll let the following trailer speak for itself and let you judge. Read More…

For Whom The Bell Killer Tolls In Murdered: Soul Suspect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Murdered: Soul Suspect has been released showing off the Bell Killer, main antagonist, and his kills. Now this is the kind of trailer I have been waiting for to come out for Murdered: Soul Suspect. It doesn't show off any new mechanics or non-scripted gameplay but it does show off more of the story and not just the three same scenes we've seen since the announcement of the game. More so, there is more on the Bell Killer, he's now names, and all the madness that he or she is causing throughout Salem as if murdering Ronan wasn't enough. Then again if that was enough Murdered: Soul Suspect wouldn't have much of a story for us to play through now would it. Read More…

Wolfenstein: The New Order Allows For Both Mayhem And Stealth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
There is a new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order that shows off the different play styles available in the game. When I hear Wolfenstein I don't always think of stealth and I think more of the madness of shooting up Nazis. With the latest trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order it looks like we are going to be getting that little extra style as a full option. I know that "stealth" is always an option as you can always snipe and set up kills to make it easier but that is just strategy and not a full selling point in general. The point here is stealth for Wolfenstein: The New Order though. Read More…

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare Has An Official PC Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new teaser for the PC version of Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare brings us a release date. Good news for all of those who don't want to be limited to playing Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare on their Xbox Ones and Xbox 360s. It looks like the PC version of the game is coming to our PCs via Origin on June 27th. We even have a fun little teaser video proving just that a little bit lower on this page as well. With that, there is really nothing else to say outside of what should already be known from the other version of Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. Read More…

Enter The Devil's Lair With The New Destiny Gameplay Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
There is a new gameplay trailer for Destiny that shows a strike against the Fallen in the Devil's Lair. Here we go with some new Destiny footage straight off the PS4. In this case we get to follow three characters of different classes as they attempt to make a strike at the Devil's Lair. From the looks of the area it looks to be more inhabited by the Fallen and fewer demons or devils but Destiny is a sci-fi title and not a religious or fantasy title. Not that that should make much of a difference but I felt it worth noting for some reason. Moving on… All of that aside we do get to see one of the mission types and areas of Destiny in a close up situation. Read More…

Could We Be Seeing A Remake Of The Original Metal Gear Games?
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 28th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
An interview question gets Hideo Kojima talking about remakes of the early Metal Gear franchise. In a recent interview on Twitch Hideo Kojima talked for a whole hour. Some stuff we already knew but a fan question made the future seem even brighter. While it would probably be very far off into the future it still makes my heart beat with glee. The only hope we have is that Kojima said he would like to remake the first two Metal Gear games. He also said when asked about DLC for Ground Zeroes that it would only push The Phantom Pain back further. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. This has been one bipolar week for gaming news hasn't it? Maybe you haven't seen anything yet so you might not know but below is yet another list of what we covered in the world of gaming. It started out slow, then picked up, then dropped off again. The world of gaming all wrapped up with a confirmation of two things; Mad Max is still coming although late and that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will have Carnage as one of the prime villains of the game. Those were the most recent items in this week of gaming but we also got the rumor that there would be a Resident Evil 7 announced as soon as E3 and a whole lot going on in the world of Watch_Dogs. Carnage Is Confirmed For The Amazing Spider-Man 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
An exclusive trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 shows off one of the best villains in the Spider-Man universe; Carnage. Earlier this month we got a trailer showcasing the villains that will be in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. During said trailer there was a possible glimpse of Carnage which was something of great speculation. It all made sense based on the short scene and how this game is supposed to stay semi-close to the cinematic universe that has been re-cultivated. As the 'exclusive' trailer from MTV for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 shows, it can be confirmed for the game now. Read More…

Avalanche Studios Has Their Magnum Opus In Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new game trailer for Mad Max has been released showing off the amazing vehicle of the game; the Magnum Opus. One could have had a baby in the time it has been since we last got a video look at Mad Max from Avalanche Studios and Warner Bros. That isn't too much of an exaggeration either. In fact it had been so long that recently I began to question if Mad Max was still being worked on or if it had been canned quietly so as not to have everyone asking 'Why?'. It looked amazing when I first saw it at E3 2013 and it looked like the dev team was well on the way to having a finished product soon. Read More…

Skylanders Trap Team Introduces Another Way To Collect The Toys
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Activision has announced Skylanders Trap Team which will allow you to collect the various villains as well as heroes. If there is one franchise that I know is a cash cow it is the Skylanders franchise from Activision and Toys For Bob. That cash cow is going to get a whole lot larger with the addition of Skylanders Trap Team this October 5th as we will get a slew of new heroes and a way to collect and play various villains. Yep, we are going to be able to start collecting the villains, including Kaos, but there is a catch. Pardon the pun. Read More…

There Has Been An Update On The Classes Of Destiny
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Bungie has updated the official site for Destiny with some new information and video of three of the game's classes. For all of you out there pining for some more news or updates on Destiny from Bungie and Activision, it looks like we are getting just that. In this instance it is in the form of three of the character classes that will be in the game when it finally launches. There is a nice brief description for the Hunter, Titan, and Warlock as well as nice little video to go along with said description. Not that there hasn't been a load of gameplay video for Destiny but here is a bit more geared toward those aforementioned classes. Read More…
