For the lucky few that were chosen to rally together and fight the new horrors of Azeroth in the World Of Warcraft: Cataclysm Beta test, a pretty big update was currently launched. The new clients, which can be downloaded from your battle.net account page, fully re-installs the beta test and showcases Blizzard's new streaming content feature; so you can download while you play. What does all this mean? Can't I just login the same way I have been since the start? Read More...

Mortal Kombat Cooler Than A Punch In The Face
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of August 2010 - 08:17 PM ]
Who doesn't like a good punch in the face right? Oh wait, that would totally suck. Especially if it were followed by a sai or a spear to the face as well. But obviously punches to your face are not what Warner Bros. and AggroGamer are trying to give you here. We're actually trying to just give you a new look at the new Mortal Kombat game coming out next year. Clearing all that up, let’s take a look-see here. Nothing too new for the franchise huh? Arkham Asylum Remodeled To Arkham City
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of August 2010 - 06:13 PM ]
It has been a long while since we had any good news about Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 hasn't it? Almost eight months it has been since the VGA's ran the announcement trailer for Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Games' next incarnation of the best Batman game to date. The only thing we've had to go on from there is the small slips that the voice actors have passed out. Well here is something better than those small things. For starters, it is no longer called Batman: Arkhamn Asylum 2. Read More...

Guitar Hero's Quest To Make Things Easier
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of August 2010 - 09:40 PM ]
There has always been a huge division between Rock Band and Guitar Hero. For me it was the difficulty factor for each and not completely about the sound tracks or "story" of the career mode. For a while it was Guitar Hero that was hard just to be hard and Rock Band with some form of a story mode - at least when it comes to the off shoots. That was until I started playing Guitar Hero 5 and found that the difficulty has been toned WAY down; mainly in the way of lenience on the precision of button timing. I have played so many songs on expert and have been able to hit notes I should have never been physically able to hit do to timing and finger placement. Read More...

Comic Con Day 3: Rated M For Mature
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of July 2010 - 03:20 PM ]
With the new age zombie plague starting with all the brain dead people wandering about the convention, you could only imagine where things could have progressed from there. Well maybe not imagine, but know if you have any knowledge on how the zombie plague works. People finally regressed to their base needs and wants, sex and violence. Let's start with the sex part of their degradation. Just like at almost every other "geek" or "nerd" convention out there, sans PAX, there are booth babes. Read More...

Guitar Hero Ready To Play Sets
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of July 2010 - 10:50 PM ]
In the past with rhythm/music when it was time to inform the masses of the track lists usually we just got a long list of songs and artists for us all to gawk at. Sometimes Gods like me would go through the list and try to add a link to the song so you knew what it sounded like. Sometimes the titles don't really go with the part of the song we all know. It was a nice little thing I liked to give our readers. Well from the below video it looks like Activision is stealing a page from my book like Naughty Bear did. Read More...

Review: Transformers: War for Cybertron
by Binh Nguyen [ Tuesday, 6th of July 2010 - 08:18 PM ]
When Activision first announced that High Moon Studios would be making a Transformers game, I was a bit skeptical. That is, until I saw the trailer and screen shots of the game. Granted it is not the Transformers we all, or at least most of us, know and love. And no, I do not mean the recent live-action Transformers movie. I am talking about the 80's cartoon series, including the full length movie where I first cried over the fact that Optimus Prime died in the epic battle with Megatron*. Unlike the most recent movie-based Transformers game, High Moon Studio took everything we love about Transformers and created a 3rd person shooter with a great story. Read More...

The Cataclysm is coming, and the Warcraft universe will change yet again. According to Blizzard's press release the Beta for World of Warcraft's Cataclysm expansion has begun and invites are being sent out to players who opted in on battle.net. If you got in, you should receive an e-mail notification, or login to your battle.net account and see if you have been selected. Club Nintendo Rewards Announced
by Brian Bentley [ Friday, 2nd of July 2010 - 08:31 PM ]
It's that time again where Nintendo rewards its faithful for liberally stuffing their corporate pockets full of money and doing free market research for them. Yesterday Nintendo released their Elite Rewards for 2010 in an email to Club Nintendo participants. Club Nintendo is a customer reward program. You purchase Nintendo products, register them on the Club Nintendo site and then you fill out a "brief" survey to earn coins that may be redeemed for prizes. If it was a grocery store chain, you'd have a little card with a barcode hanging off your key ring. Read More...

E3 2010 Impressions: Mortal Kombat
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of June 2010 - 09:13 PM ]
As surprises come, a revitalization of Mortal Kombat was one thing I was not expecting until just before E3. You know when the crazy short popped up online followed by the new teaser trailer for Mortal Kombat. You know what I am talking about. If you didn't you would not have clicked on this article. With all that buzz just days before the event you would expect to have something to show at E3 for it, and boy did they. Nothing playable for anyone on the show floor, but those lucky enough to have a meeting or willing to stand in line for over an hour to get in to the 15 minute showing got a great glimpse of what is going on with the new Mortal Kombat game. E3 2010 Hands-On: God Of War: Ghost Of Sparta
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of June 2010 - 09:22 PM ]
*Sound Of Pants Getting Moist* … … … … … … … … … … … But Seriously. Since it was announced through a need to Platinum God Of War III, God of War: Ghost of Sparta has been a title on my radar with a HUGE blip. It is God of War game, after all, but it is also a God of War on the PSP again. Not that the first wasn't great, but will a PSP follow up to the superstar God of War III be as good? My fanboyism aside, from what I got to get my hands on in the Sony booth, this will be another winner for the franchise. Read More...

E3 2010 Hands-On: The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword
by Brian Bentley [ Monday, 21st of June 2010 - 03:50 PM ]
It started with a rush of excitement from the crowd in the Nokia Theatre on Tuesday morning and proceeded throughout E3. A brand-new Legend of Zelda was coming to the Nintendo Wii. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the Wii Motion Plus-based adventure fans have been clamoring for since the little white box’s inception. Not much of the story has been released for Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, but judging by the reaction at the Nintendo Press Conference and how long people were willing to wait in line to experience the brief demo at E3, that is not a concern…yet. All these people needed (myself included) was simply the chance to put the announced one-to-one movements to the test. Read More...
