Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have wrapped yet another week in video games had had yet more ups and downs as comes with almost every week we have out there. Granted, we did get some great announcements like Catherine: Full Body and Vermintide 2 but they were also followed by delay for Psychonauts 2 and lacking information on many other video games out there that we were hoping to hear about before the end of the year. Warhammer It is official now that Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be heading to the consoles after much speculation that we would see this Warhammer game head there too Since Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was first revealed and shown off for the PC it was heavily speculated that we would be seeing the game also on the consoles at some point. It was speculated but never confirmed from Fatshark and it seemed odd to many. Especially since Warhammer: End Times — Vermintide made the jump to the PS4 and Xbox One after a year of being released. God Of War If you missed out on the PSX tour of God Of War this year, then you are in luck as you can experience all of the God Of War that was shown there While we still may have been left wanting for more gameplay for God Of War here, we do have a bit more in terms of the game's story and background. At least for one of the characters we will be adventuring with here as Santa Monica Studio made sure to capture the guided tour they had at this year's PSX that went into detail on one of Atreus' first adventures. He is a curious child and it seems that there will be more going on with him in the game than just being backup support or one long escort mission. Read More...

God Of War Out at PSX God Of War was on display with the same trailer we have had, but there were new details for God Of War mixed in One of the things that many people were hoping to hear out of this year's PSX was a solid release date or any real update to God Of War since we had the new trailer out of Paris Games Week. Sadly, the event has come and gone and very little else was doled out there from Santa Monica Studio for it all. The Walking Dead New updates for Overkill’s The Walking Dead are finally here and we get a taste of what life in this FPS set in The Walking Dead universe will feel It has been quite some time that we had any updates for Overkill’s The Walking Dead title that we heard about back in 2015. It is still in the works and Starbreeze with 505 Games is still bringing it to us on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. All of that and Overkill is still working hard on it and is finally ready to show off more of their take on The Walking Dead universe. All in a cinematic way, but given that the game is now slated for Fall of 2018, we still have some time to get all of those extra details and bit of gameplay to get us all excited for this game. World War Z During The Game Awards last night, World War Z, was announced so we could further diving into the world of World War Z with new stories If you were watching The Game Awards last night then you most likely saw the nice little tease for World War Z. Not the next film from Paramount, but the new video game coming to us from Saber Interactive. It is all set in the World War Z film universe, but other than that it does not seem to be linked to anything we have seen thus far. Injustice 2 Another look at Atom is here for Injustice 2, even though we saw him earlier, but this time with more Injustice 2 gameplay This all may feel a bit familiar for Injustice 2, but here we go with another good look at Atom just before he lands in the game here on December 12th. We had a look at him back in October when NetherRealm Studios opted to show off the worst hidden character in the Fighter Pack 3 DLC, but that was just a small showing (pun intended) just to give a taste. He looked cool, but mainly just did what we expected in Injustice 2 by shrinking, growing, and having his blasts to take down his opponents. This may be something that Santa Monica Studio was trying to hold until the PSX this weekend, but it looks like the PlayStation Store in Chile and the U.S. may have jumped the gun a bit. A bit of an off week, but still a pretty solid one if you were not mixed up in all of the US Thanksgiving stuff or the horrible holiday to consumerism. Warhammer Get ready for a new Warhammer 40,000 title as we have a new 4X Strategy Game coming with Warhammer 40,000: Gladius next year Good news for those who have always wanted a good 4X Strategy game set in the Warhammer 40K universe but have always been left wanting. It looks like prayers may be answered as Slitherine and Games Workshop are teaming up yet again to bring us all a new PC title in 2018 that will try to deliver just that. Here we are now to show off and announce Warhammer 40,000: Gladius and all of the fun that it should be bringing to fans of the franchise through four factions and all of the darkness that the game's world is known for. Shadow Of War The Slaughter Tribe for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here to join in the fight and you can get a taste of what they will add to Shadow Of War here Yesterday we all caught wind of the new and free updates coming to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War today (11/21/17). All of that should be rolling out there as soon as the respective stores for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC get all of those things updated for us. We would be remiss though if we left out the other DLC that Monolith Productions has for us here with the addition of the Slaughter Tribe into the mix of it all. This is paid DLC for Shadow Of War, so it may not resonate with all of you out there, but it is one more tribe that will be mixed into the Nemesis System for us and needs to be shown off.
