A bit of an off week, but still a pretty solid one if you were not mixed up in all of the US Thanksgiving stuff or the horrible holiday to consumerism. Warhammer Get ready for a new Warhammer 40,000 title as we have a new 4X Strategy Game coming with Warhammer 40,000: Gladius next year Good news for those who have always wanted a good 4X Strategy game set in the Warhammer 40K universe but have always been left wanting. It looks like prayers may be answered as Slitherine and Games Workshop are teaming up yet again to bring us all a new PC title in 2018 that will try to deliver just that. Here we are now to show off and announce Warhammer 40,000: Gladius and all of the fun that it should be bringing to fans of the franchise through four factions and all of the darkness that the game's world is known for. Shadow Of War The Slaughter Tribe for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here to join in the fight and you can get a taste of what they will add to Shadow Of War here Yesterday we all caught wind of the new and free updates coming to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War today (11/21/17). All of that should be rolling out there as soon as the respective stores for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC get all of those things updated for us. We would be remiss though if we left out the other DLC that Monolith Productions has for us here with the addition of the Slaughter Tribe into the mix of it all. This is paid DLC for Shadow Of War, so it may not resonate with all of you out there, but it is one more tribe that will be mixed into the Nemesis System for us and needs to be shown off. Shadow Of War New content is coming to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War in the next few weeks that will add some great new FREE things for Shadow Of War If you are one of those thrifty gamers out there who picked up Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War without the Expansion Pass but were hoping to get a bit more out of the game than just the core stuff, then you are in luck as you now have a whole lot of free updates coming to you in the coming weeks. Some not all to huge, but some add a bit more to the game as Monolith Productions has a few new game modes mixed in for it all. Injustice 2 Here for the new Justice League film, you can unlock new gear in Injustice 2 that will get the team looking like their real-world counterparts Maybe you have put Injustice 2 down for a bit given all of the other games that have dropped here recently, or you are still knee-deep in the action and are only going to put it down long enough to go see the latest Justice League movie. No matter the case, it looks like NetherRealm Studios is taking their shot at bringing you more of these characters to you through the game's gear system as now you can unlock the gear from the film. The Game Awards The official list of nominated games for The Game Awards 2017 has been released as well as which categories fans of The Game Awards can vote in Another year has gone by and that means it is time for The Game Awards to swing back around and celebrate all of those games that we have enjoyed since the last time we did the awards show. It is hard to believe it has been that long, but it has. Injustice 2 The final fighters to join Injustice 2 have been revealed and we may be getting more for Injustice 2 than we may have bargained for The wait is now over and we know the final characters coming to Injustice 2 with the release of the Fighter Pack 3 DLC. Yes, we are still waiting on Hellboy to come to the game and that is slated for November 14th here, but NetherRealm Studios is here to show us what else we need to expect for the game. We already had a nice tease of the Atom for Injustice 2 but now the other two characters are here. Although it could be seen as another five in the game based on what we have here as we now see Enchantress is in the mix but also the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Read More...

Harry Potter A new Harry Potter games has been announced with Harry Potter: Wizards Unite and it will take us deeper into the world with AR technologies What was once a rumor and joke is looking to be a reality as Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has just been announced and in the works from Niantic and Warner Bros. Interactive. Something that players of other AR games have wanted and makes great sense for it all can rejoice as we are now getting one on our iOS and Android devices sometime in the near future. Star Wars We have a new look at Star Wars Battlefront II's hero of sorts and just how she fits into the game and the Star Wars franchise in general If you are still not too clear on Star Wars Battlefront II's protagonist, Iden Versio, then get ready for yet another information dump on her and other aspects of the game. Even though we have just over a week, November 17th, until the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC officially, DICE wanted to give us a bit more on our hero's background and a few other things we may not have expected out of the game. DOOM We have some new gameplay for DOOM VFR for you to check out and see if this is the version of DOOM you have been waiting for By now, it should be safe to assume that most of us have had a chance to experience the wonders of DOOM and all it had to offer. It has been just over a year since id Software gave us a new look and feel for this famed franchise and they have not stopped there. Unless you had no idea that they were working on DOOM VFR before now which will bring us the game again but playable in VR with the PS VR on the PS4 and the HTC Vive for the PC. All of which Bethesda will have out there for us on December 1st so we can see firsthand what Hell could truly feel like. Read More...

God Of War The next of the Lost Pages for God Of War are here and they go into stories of Thor and the new music for God Of War we will soon enjoy The third installment for the God Of War podcast is here and it gives us just a bit more of the official backstory going into the game as well as some of the way the new music and score of the game will be linking into the gameplay here. If you have no idea what this podcast is, it is something that has been set up to get more of the behind the scenes stuff from Santa Monica Studio out there to us but also fill in some of the gaps between the last major addition to the game and the one that is coming here. Mostly marketing and hype for God Of War before it hits the PS4 sometime next year, but it is a fun little extra to hear about some of the Norse Mythology and how it will be altered to fit Kratos in. Injustice 2 The first gameplay for Hellboy in Injustice 2 is here and it looks like he will be adding in a few things Injustice 2 may have been missing Fighter Pack 2 is coming to a close here for Injustice 2 as the last of the three DLC characters has now been shown off and dated as to when he will join the roster. Yes, Hellboy finally has his introduction video that NetherRealm Studios has done for each character so far and it looks like we can expect him to hit the PS4 and Xbox One on November 14th. At least for those who have the season pass for Injustice 2 as everyone else who wants to purchase the character alone will need to wait until November 21st to do just that. Read More...

God Of War New combat for God Of War is here from Paris Game Week and it also brings with it another creature we will need to fight in God Of War at some point A new enemy for God Of War has just been shown off during the Paris Games Week event that PlayStation held for all of the upcoming games and DLC still to come. Not only a new enemy of sorts, but it looks like Santa Monica Studio also opted to give us another huge look at the new combat we can see and expect in the game. There were so many new updates and announcements out there that it was almost too easy to forget that Assassin’s Creed Origins and Wolfenstein II just launched with many more titles on the way. Of course, this week was also filled with all of those video games out there getting the Halloween updates and news like Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite and Dead By Daylight, but that is to be expected given all of the madness that usually comes along with this holiday.
