My Fallout 4 Wishlist
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 17th of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Here Is A Short List Of What I Think Should Be In Fallout 4. With the latest news/rumors about Bethesda not actually developing the mysterious Fallout 4, but the lesser known Battlecry Studios is to helm the job, I thought I would give a short list of things I would like to see in the upcoming title. First off, I would like to see something totally different. I love Fallout 3 and New Vegas because of their differences more than their similarities. Read More...

Evolve Is Not Really Evolving Multiplayer, But It Works
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We have some new details on Evolve, the upcoming 4v1 shooter from Turtle Rock Studios. Trailer and screen shots galore. So when I hear a game is going to be multiplayer heavy as is the case with Evolve, I normally cringe. I also usually think of just giving a blanket pass on the title as well. But with what I have been seeing and reading from Evolve my interest has been piqued again. Just in case you don't know what the game is about here's a short history lesson. Originally it was going to be published by THQ and was called Wild. Read More...

by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 13th of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
It is time to see what went into making the BioShock Infinite — Burial At Sea Episode 2 DLC. Yes, this is a behind the scenes. I will start this Behind The Curtain off with a spoiler alert as it does show a bit into the upcoming BioShock Infinite — Burial At Sea Episode 2 DLC. The below video also has a nice little warning system just in case you were still brave and needed one more chance to not spoil anything in this DLC. In the interest of not spoiling as well, here is what we get to see in the below trailer. The big news is that BioShock Infinite — Burial At Sea Episode 2 will be released on March 25th. Read More...

Story Time: Thief — Stories From The City [Thief Taker General]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of February 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We have a new story trailer for Thief. This one focuses on the Thief Taker General and why he does what he does. Thief is quickly approaching its launch date. Everything I have seen to date pretty much mimics the gameplay of multiple other game. Not a big deal as long as Eidos-Montréal has lifted the better part of the gameplay but that does mean that they really need to focus on story of this Thief if they want to keep the franchise going and the fans happy. Usually it is the innovation in my book that does that for a franchise but I am also a different cat than the rest of you. The usual drivel for Thief out of the way now, here we have a bit more of the game's story. Read More...

Looks Like Dying Light Is Taking A Page From The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
There is a new trailer for Dying Light that focuses on the 'Human' element of the game and who the real monsters are… As has been seen multiple times over, Dying Light is mostly about free running and surviving the end of the world by zombies. There has always been the human element in the trailers and gameplay shown but now it looks like Dying Light is showing off how other NPC humans in the game are going to be as messed up as some of the greatest characters in The Walking Dead universe. Which is cool, but it kind of changes what I thought Dying Light was going to be all about. Mind you, not in a bad way but in some way. Read More...

Here Is How You Can Become The Master Thief…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Thief has gone gold and we are now getting our Master Thief 101 course. Well more like a "here's what to expect in the game" course. It is now official. Thief has gone gold and will be seeing our consoles and PCs soon. Soon as in February 25th for us here in North America and days afterward for everyone else not in Japan. So with that announcement of course we get a new game trailer for Thief but not the typical one. In fact this is more of what to expect in the game instead of a bunch of hype video to get you excited. Read More...

Microsoft Picks Up Gears Of War. What Does That Mean?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of January 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Microsoft purchases the Gears Of War franchise from Epic Games this week and tasks Black Tusk Studios to continue the franchise. What does this exactly mean though? All of you Gears Of War fans should be dancing in the streets right now. While yes the news is just about Microsoft picking up the franchise it also makes it completely obvious that there will be a Gears Of War coming to the Xbox One and going forward. So the franchise isn't just dead in the water after the lackluster acceptance of Gears Of War: Judgment. So really good news for those fans as the franchise is going to have a chance to get back to its success from GoW3. Read More...

Thief Looks Like It Is Full Of Loot And Moral Victories
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of January 2014 - 09:22 PM ]
We have some new screen shots for Thief as well as a bit about how you are urged to take the moral high road during gameplay. There is even a Trophy/Achievement involved… So when you hear a game title like Thief you don't normally think that there will be any sort of positive moral values or overtones. I mean it should be a game about stealing things from people who have too much or just what you want. You know, embodying the concepts of greed and envy; two things that are not usually considered traits of the morally upright. Read More...

A Not-So-Exclusive Look At The Burial At Sea: Episode Two
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of January 2014 - 04:48 PM ]
The second episode of the Burial At Sea DLC of BioShock Infinite has a new and 'Exclusive' trailer out. If you don't care about minor spoilers then check it out. I will still go on record and state that I was not a big fan of the BioShock Infinite story but the Burial At Sea DLC has kind of attracted my interest. Not because it is back in rapture, but it seems to have what the first two titles had; an interesting and creative storyline. Granted I have yet to play the DLC yet and only have the trailers to work off so I could be way wrong. Read More...

My Favorite Games Of Last Gen [Part 1]
by Kenton Winkfield [ Tuesday, 28th of January 2014 - 04:20 PM ]
A short list of some of my favorite games of last gen consoles. With the hype of the next gen consoles finally dying down, I decided to take a look back at some of my favorite games from last generation and reminisce about what drew me to those games. Or, I could just sit down and play them again and relive the gloriousness. That sounds like a great idea actually. I think I'll do that after I'm finished here. Read More...

Review Of The Harvest By South African Indie Developers Luma Arcade Are you busy and looking for a game to play that doesn't require all your attention? Is solitaire not intensive enough to fill that free time? Do you not have a mouse readily available to play most games and are left with only one free hand and a trackpad? Well that sucks, but maybe you'll want to look into The Harvest. The Harvest is a top-down action RPG set in the future from South African Developers, Luma Arcade. Read More...

We Sit Down And Review Call Of Duty: Ghosts. This Is The Second Part Where We Cover The Multiplayer Of The Game The new Call Of Duty is here and it’s that time again for players to put many hours into the games' multiplayer. This time it's Infinity Ward up to bat with Call Of Duty: Ghosts. This is part two of our Call Of Duty: Ghosts review and you can check out our Campaign review here. We Sit Down And Review Call Of Duty: Ghosts. This Is The First Part Where We Cover The Campaign Mode And Story Of The Game It's that time of year again. Check Out Some Intense Combat In Ryse Son Of Rome
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of November 2013 - 11:29 PM ]
A New Trailer For Ryse Son Of Rome Shows Off How Crazy And Intense The Combat System Is Going To Be Last time I took a look at Ryse Son Of Rome I made a bunch of comparisons to GoW in the terms of looks and story. It is such an easy jump between the two. Now we are getting a new look at the combat and gameplay of the game and comparisons be damned, Ryse Son Of Rome's combat is now a huge selling point for me. If you are still on the fence take a look below and see what I am talking about. If you are curious before watching the trailer it looks like the combat for Ryse Son Of Rome has taken some of the better parts of the Arkham games mixed with the brutality of GoW. Read More...

A New Trailer Has Come Out Showcasing The Basic Story Of Dead Rising 3 Here we go with another Story Time and this time we dive into Dead Rising 3. Why not? It is coming out here shortly with the Xbox One and deserves to show us what it has. Right? I am saying so, so it shall be. Let's see what this one and a half clip has to show us. Wait, the Dead Rising 3 story trailer is only a minute and a half? Less than that if we take off the logo and "only on Xbox One" that are always slapped on as well. Read More...
