by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of May 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with all that we had out there for the various video games over the week. A bit of a slow one, for sure, but that is expected with the bigger weeks just about to hit us all extremely hard. Not just with the releases for The Quarry and Mario Strikers in the coming week, but all of the other video games about to be announced with all of the major events going on. This is why it was a bit curious to get the teases and announcements for Gollum and the next Call Of Duty this week too. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of May 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Hogwarts New footage for Hogwarts Legacy is here to show off how much deeper into the Hogwarts experience we will go It should come as no surprise that when Hogwarts Legacy launches that it is going to look and handle better on the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. It is no knock on the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, but the better hardware and features of the newer systems will allow for Avalanche Software to give us all a deeper experience. Something this looks like it will go even deeper on the PS5 with all of the various extras that will come to Hogwarts Legacy there. Not because they are working harder on that version of the game, but because the controller and other options that the system has that the developers are going to take advantage of. Read More...

Not that Modern Warfare 2 from before from 2009 but one that will be a direct sequel to the Modern Warfare reboot from 2019. I hope that clears things up since it seems like Infinity Ward has opted to not focus on original game names but to give us some solid video games in general. As long as this Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II hits just as well for us all when it lands this year on October 28th. Read More...

The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum Has A Release Date To Walk Toward
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of May 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Gollum The release date for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum is set with Gollum joining our systems again in the not-too-distant future We still do not have much to look at for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum nor many new details out there for the game, but we have a release date now. Even if many of us have not seen how this game will function in practice as of yet, Daedalic Entertainment has set us all up with a date that we can expect to be playing the game on our PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is still heavily thought that Gollum will function as other stealth games from over the years but we will certainly know on September 1st when it is poised to have a full release. That seems rather quick for something we have only been teased with so far. Read More...

Disney New looks at Disney Dreamlight Valley offer up some of the areas in the game we will be exploring while looking for our Disney friends It has been a few weeks since the announcement for Disney Dreamlight Valley and there was a bit to unpack from all of it. This is the next title coming from Gameloft that will take us all into a life-sim and adventure game that will place us deep in the worlds of the Disney IPs. Not specifically anything from the real-world parks or what other games have done in the past, but all in a new way and locations that the teams are making for us. All of which should be fitting and house all of the hidden Mickeys that we could expect out there on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC this Summer. Read More...

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Is Going To Take More Time Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of May 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Prince Of Persia Prince Of Persia fans will need to wait longer for the remake of Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time once again Things are not looking great for the remake for Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake, as we are seeing a bit of a delay once more. Steam for this game seems to be slowing down for many out there even though Ubisoft is making sure we all know that it is still coming. This time just from a different division of their studios who will be taking the work done so far for Prince Of Persia and make sure it does show up for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at some point. We are now looking at further into 2023 now at the earliest, but that is an estimate and nothing that has been declared by Ubisoft for now. Read More...

Matcho Gives Us A Bit Of First Contact With New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of May 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Matcho The first gameplay for Matcho is here now to show off how Matcho will be shifting the FPS style a bit Matcho was an interesting concept that was brought up by FiolaSoft Studio not too long ago. You might have seen our bit of coverage on it and how it could be giving us all a new way to look at FPS games beyond just the basic shooting. It is a form of a match-three style of game that is heading to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2022 that will still have many of the familiar gameplay elements from FPS titles too. Now, though, we actually get to see Matcho in action and judge on how well this style of play could lend itself not only to the title but the genre to maybe push for more than a single shot from a weapon out there.
