            Ubisoft announced today that the official Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. demo will be released over the next two days. Epics Rod Fergusson made a post in the Gears of War 2 forums about a "proposed rank change", hopefully making the rank system more experienced based whenever a third update comes out. Fergusson writes ""What if, instead of skill rank, we instead showed your experience level." The Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II (RTS) multiplayer beta is now available to everybody who didn't get Soulstorm today over Steam. The beta is 5.4 Gigabytes or 5400 Megabytes. Dawn of War II will come out February 19th and will have a fairly robust campaign mode featuring the Space Marines. The Multiplayer portion allows you to play as the Space Marines, the Orcs, The Eldar, and the Tyranids.The game mimics Company of Heroes's cover system and now includes the ability to destroy cover, much to the delight of Gears fans everywhere. I Am Alive due by end of March - Ubisoft No this is not a sequel to or homage to Portal and the end song. It's actually a new game that is being released by Ubisoft. Yes I know, you've heard nothing about this game right? Most of us have heard nothing about this game outside of the original game trailer for the game. Our friend Six Okay over at GearsOfWar.com made an update yesterday afternoon telling everyone that there has been an update to Gears of War 2. Here is the breakdown of what's included in the fix: Exploit Fixes: Crabwalking, invisibility, weapon-slide, melee through walls, unlimited ammo. General Fixes: Shotgun and Boomshot updates, meatshield chainsawing updates, team communication, Insane gamer pic award. Balancing: Planted proximity grenade updates, increased quitting penalties, spawn protection, flamethrower stopping power. A while back, I posted about a Gears of War 2 patch coming later this month. Now it turns out that coming along with the patch are seven new achievements. No official release date has been said, but should go live once the patch is released. All seven equal up to 175 points, mostly focused on the flashback and combustible maps. Well it turns out that you will be able to rock hard while playing Guitar Hero: Metallica In Europe this coming May. Funcom to close over half of Conan servers Do you remember how about 10 months ago there was this game that was all the hype. I think it was called Age of Conan. Yea that's the one. The game that was plagued with a lot of build up and no pay off. Buggy as hell and pretty much done in a way that an MMO should not have been placed out there. Can you sense the upset from me? Got a twitter announcement today from Sega Of America letting everyone know they have launched a brand new site for House Of The Dead: Overkill.  The game is the latest in the series, due out on the Wii in February of this year.  Overkill brings a new style to the game series, which is more of a retro 70s style B-Movie. You and a friend take control of Agent G&Agent Washington while investigating disappearances in a Louisiana town. Microsoft's Robbie Bach announced during their company's CES Keynote that a demo for Halo Wars will be available for download February 5th. Robbie has also announced that instead of Halo Wars being released March 3rd, they are now moving it to February 28th. I am saddened to report that Hearst-owned UGO Network has purchased the 1UP Network from Ziff Davis. In what was thought initially to help improve 1UP and its financial standings, has turned out to be a grim surprise. After officially announcing the sale earlier, Ziff Davis Media CEO had this to say, “We believe this is a smart transaction for Ziff Davis Media that places these market leading assets and teams in a great environment poised for further success. Mark Rein from Epic has responded to everyone's complaints about all the glitches in bugs in the game such as equipping the shield with a 2-hand weapon, Lancers with infinite ammo, invisible shields and so on. That's all going to end soon. Posted on the Gears forums is all the details of what's coming in this patch."We're fixing a whole bunch of online exploits.
