Slim XBox 360 Arcade Coming In August

It wasn't that long ago (*cough*...E3...*cough*) that Microsoft announced its latest XBox redesign - the Xbox 360 Slim. Well, news has been flying around that an Arcade version of the XBox 360 Slim is getting an August release date along with some even slimmer hardware. According to German Amazon.com, the XBox 360 Slim Arcade is slated for an August 20th release date, and will come with only 4GB of storage space (no news on wireless capabilities yet). Contrary to the recent inception of the XBox 360 Slim which only comes in a 250GB hard drive option. The new XBox Slim Arcade seems like it could possibly support some sort of flash memory or other small storage device as an option. Read More...

League of Legends fans rejoice! With season one drawing closer, Riot Games has given us a little cinematic action to tide us over until the soon-to-be epic competition begins. Not only that, but if this video on YouTube gets over 1,000,000 views before the July 21st, European and US players will get a Double IP Weekend. “The Season One features and updates will greatly enhance League of Legends and help us towards our goal of having LOL being played by the world's top gamers in the biggest and best gaming leagues and tournaments,” said Marc Merrill, co-founder and President of Riot Games. Guitar Hero Ready To Play Sets

In the past with rhythm/music when it was time to inform the masses of the track lists usually we just got a long list of songs and artists for us all to gawk at. Sometimes Gods like me would go through the list and try to add a link to the song so you knew what it sounded like. Sometimes the titles don't really go with the part of the song we all know. Okay so quick question to you before I really get started. If you lived in a city where half the population were zombies and the other half were juvenile radical activists, would you move away? What if you had "peacekeepers" tearing through the city, killing everything, and acting like they were controlled by someone who spends a good amount of their life playing games that ingrain in their head that they can do whatever they want without consequence? The Cataclysm Is Upon Us

The Cataclysm is coming, and the Warcraft universe will change yet again. According to Blizzard's press release the Beta for World of Warcraft's Cataclysm expansion has begun and invites are being sent out to players who opted in on battle.net. If you got in, you should receive an e-mail notification, or login to your battle.net account and see if you have been selected. Cataclysm boasts two new classes, the Goblin and the Worgen, and will bring players back home to Azeroth where the world has literally been rocked by the biggest baddest dragon we've seen so far. E3 2010: Sights And Sounds

It has been over a week now since E3 closed its doors. Since then I have been pouring over the many pictures I snapped - from the Activision Party to the Nintendo and Sony presser to everything else in between. I also managed to film some of the Method Man and Redman concert at the Konami booth. You may think it is all fun and games when you are at E3, and at times can be, but it is also a lot of hard work. E3 2010 Hands On: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

At E3 2009 Konami showed a trailer, for the first time, for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Needless to say, it took nearly everyone by surprised. A year later Konami showcased the game with a playable demo. I wasn't able to play the full length of the game but I still played long enough to talk about what I played. The demo started off in the rainy village, where Gabriel has come to find leads about the whereabouts of a powerful unnamed entity. Since it was announced through a need to Platinum God Of War III, God of War: Ghost of Sparta has been a title on my radar with a HUGE blip. It is God of War game, after all, but it is also a God of War on the PSP again. Not that the first wasn't great, but will a PSP follow up to the superstar God of War III be as good? E3 2010 Hands-On: The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword

It started with a rush of excitement from the crowd in the Nokia Theatre on Tuesday morning and proceeded throughout E3. A brand-new Legend of Zelda was coming to the Nintendo Wii. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the Wii Motion Plus-based adventure fans have been clamoring for since the little white box’s inception. Not much of the story has been released for Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, but judging by the reaction at the Nintendo Press Conference and how long people were willing to wait in line to experience the brief demo at E3, that is not a concern…yet. So How Is Gears Of War 3 Looking These Days

Something we have all been thinking since the announcement back in April. Yea there have been a few shots before, but here we go with a few more. A few more that are extremely stunning and blood filled. Nothing to the level of Splatterhouse in terms of blood and gore, but still. I will have to say that things are looking to progressing very well. At least in the graphics department. Who Is The King Of Naughtiness?

I would say I am, with my book having over 18,000 ways to be naughty and generally lash out at the filth of the world. But runner up I will have to tip my hat to Naughty Bear. Although there has been some controversy over the rules in his Book Of Naughty™, Naughty Bear at least lives up to his book unlike all the posers out there that say they follow the Book of Naughty™ or the Guide To Being More Like Hades™. Lord Of The Rings Online To Go Free-To-Play

Today Turbine and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment announced that in the fall their popular MMO, Lord of the Rings Online, will be introducing a free-to-play model. Turbine will be implementing a three-tier system (VIP, Premium and Free) that will put limitations on the non-subscribing members. Free members will still be able to access all four races, most of the player classes and all three starting zones. Other limitations do apply, such as number of characters per server, inventory bags and a money cap. Read More...
