Looks like today is day for everything Fable 3. First pumping news and trailers, now we have information on pre-order content. Microsoft announced today the 'Fable 3 Villager Maker.' Players that pre-order the game will be able to build and import your own character into the game, along with some other interesting features. "Your custom in-game villager will deliver to your hero a thrilling new quest and 1,000 gold fortune, and then continue to interact with you on your journey to become ruler of Albion." Microsoft is boasting that there are more that 2,000 combinations players can take advantage of - including back story, personality traits, gender, clothing, accent, hair and geographic origin (where in the world of Albion your character came from). Peter Molyneux's popular title Fable 3 is being released in October. This week we got a full opening cinematic that would make Colonel Sanders giddy with excitement. Although the main character is created by the player, this cinematic follows the adventures of everyone's favorite feathered football, the chicken. Fable 3 takes place during an age of industry and we see a lot of that highlighted in this trailer. There has always been a huge division between Rock Band and Guitar Hero. For me it was the difficulty factor for each and not completely about the sound tracks or "story" of the career mode. For a while it was Guitar Hero that was hard just to be hard and Rock Band with some form of a story mode - at least when it comes to the off shoots. That was until I started playing Guitar Hero 5 and found that the difficulty has been toned WAY down; mainly in the way of lenience on the precision of button timing. It was announced that yet another XBox 360 bundle will be hitting store shelves this fall. The XBox 360 Limited Edition Halo: Reach Bundle will contain a 360 Slim, two wireless controllers, a wireless headset, a standard copy of Halo: Reach, an episode of "Halo Legends" and a token for a limited edition elite armor. The 360 Slim, controllers and headset will all be customized to theme-up with Halo: Reach. The entire package will retail at $399 and release day and date along with the game (September 14, 2010). It wasn't that long ago (*cough*...E3...*cough*) that Microsoft announced its latest XBox redesign - the Xbox 360 Slim. Well, news has been flying around that an Arcade version of the XBox 360 Slim is getting an August release date along with some even slimmer hardware. According to German Amazon.com, the XBox 360 Slim Arcade is slated for an August 20th release date, and will come with only 4GB of storage space (no news on wireless capabilities yet). Contrary to the recent inception of the XBox 360 Slim which only comes in a 250GB hard drive option. League of Legends fans rejoice! With season one drawing closer, Riot Games has given us a little cinematic action to tide us over until the soon-to-be epic competition begins. Not only that, but if this video on YouTube gets over 1,000,000 views before the July 21st, European and US players will get a Double IP Weekend. “The Season One features and updates will greatly enhance League of Legends and help us towards our goal of having LOL being played by the world's top gamers in the biggest and best gaming leagues and tournaments,” said Marc Merrill, co-founder and President of Riot Games. In the past with rhythm/music when it was time to inform the masses of the track lists usually we just got a long list of songs and artists for us all to gawk at. Sometimes Gods like me would go through the list and try to add a link to the song so you knew what it sounded like. Sometimes the titles don't really go with the part of the song we all know. Okay so quick question to you before I really get started. If you lived in a city where half the population were zombies and the other half were juvenile radical activists, would you move away? What if you had "peacekeepers" tearing through the city, killing everything, and acting like they were controlled by someone who spends a good amount of their life playing games that ingrain in their head that they can do whatever they want without consequence? The Cataclysm is coming, and the Warcraft universe will change yet again. According to Blizzard's press release the Beta for World of Warcraft's Cataclysm expansion has begun and invites are being sent out to players who opted in on battle.net. If you got in, you should receive an e-mail notification, or login to your battle.net account and see if you have been selected. Cataclysm boasts two new classes, the Goblin and the Worgen, and will bring players back home to Azeroth where the world has literally been rocked by the biggest baddest dragon we've seen so far. Since then I have been pouring over the many pictures I snapped - from the Activision Party to the Nintendo and Sony presser to everything else in between. I also managed to film some of the Method Man and Redman concert at the Konami booth. You may think it is all fun and games when you are at E3, and at times can be, but it is also a lot of hard work. At E3 2009 Konami showed a trailer, for the first time, for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Needless to say, it took nearly everyone by surprised. A year later Konami showcased the game with a playable demo. I wasn't able to play the full length of the game but I still played long enough to talk about what I played. The demo started off in the rainy village, where Gabriel has come to find leads about the whereabouts of a powerful unnamed entity. Since it was announced through a need to Platinum God Of War III, God of War: Ghost of Sparta has been a title on my radar with a HUGE blip. It is God of War game, after all, but it is also a God of War on the PSP again. Not that the first wasn't great, but will a PSP follow up to the superstar God of War III be as good? It started with a rush of excitement from the crowd in the Nokia Theatre on Tuesday morning and proceeded throughout E3. A brand-new Legend of Zelda was coming to the Nintendo Wii. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the Wii Motion Plus-based adventure fans have been clamoring for since the little white box’s inception. Not much of the story has been released for Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, but judging by the reaction at the Nintendo Press Conference and how long people were willing to wait in line to experience the brief demo at E3, that is not a concern…yet.
