Back in early August we mentioned the new DLC for Borderlands, Claptrap New Robot Revolution. It is bring a bunch of additions to the game, as we mentioned, as well as being included in the GOTY Edition, also mentioned. So what new do we have for you? Not a solid release date, but I'm willing to bet on 9/14, 9/21 or 9/28 if 2K and Gearbox want to keep their September time frame originally mentioned. We all know by now that each of the characters in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock have an alter ego. If you don't, consider yourself informed now or ask yourself why you clicked into this article. For those of you that have a clue, we have a new look at ALL of the characters in the new game. How they all look, from concept to in game, what all of their abilities are and a nice in game look of what it is like when they will transform to help the Demigod of Rock. Isn't it always the case now? Everyone is out to make a buck one way or another at the expense of our pockets. The recent price hike for XBL is a good example of that. What you may have missed is the push for Game of the Year (GOTY) or Special Edition versions of games that come loaded with all that expensive DLC pumped out after game launch. Craig Smallwood from Hawaii will soon be a name that will be in gaming news for a while. Why? Wired.com has reported that Craig has filed a lawsuit against NCSoft. What for you may ask? Craig claims that NCSoft “acted negligently in failing to warn or instruct or adequately warn or instruct plaintiff and other players of Lineage II of its dangerous and defective characteristics, and of the safe and proper method of using the game.” Wahhhhh? Looks like players of Lord of the Rings Online will not have to wait much longer for the highly anticipated Free-to-Play content update. Today it was announced that Turbine will be releasing the update on September 10th. The entire free-to-play structure has been under close scrutiny by fans and the press alike. In the tradition of Blizzard releases, today the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Collector's Edition was announced. Collectors of the World of Warcraft series will not be disappointed because everything Blizzard does for its fans is all here - from a full color art book to a starter deck of World of Warcraft TCG (featuring Worgen for the first time). The epic of epic epicness has finally hit the big screens after its popular start as a graphic novel. What better way to cash in on the fame than to make a video game based on it all too. Not only that, but a video game that captures the same look and feel of the graphic novel and film at that. This is what Ubisoft thought too by pitching the game in the fashion of a Mega Man 2 style. Looks like today is day for everything Fable 3. First pumping news and trailers, now we have information on pre-order content. Microsoft announced today the 'Fable 3 Villager Maker.' Players that pre-order the game will be able to build and import your own character into the game, along with some other interesting features. "Your custom in-game villager will deliver to your hero a thrilling new quest and 1,000 gold fortune, and then continue to interact with you on your journey to become ruler of Albion." Microsoft is boasting that there are more that 2,000 combinations players can take advantage of - including back story, personality traits, gender, clothing, accent, hair and geographic origin (where in the world of Albion your character came from). Peter Molyneux's popular title Fable 3 is being released in October. This week we got a full opening cinematic that would make Colonel Sanders giddy with excitement. Although the main character is created by the player, this cinematic follows the adventures of everyone's favorite feathered football, the chicken. Fable 3 takes place during an age of industry and we see a lot of that highlighted in this trailer. There has always been a huge division between Rock Band and Guitar Hero. For me it was the difficulty factor for each and not completely about the sound tracks or "story" of the career mode. For a while it was Guitar Hero that was hard just to be hard and Rock Band with some form of a story mode - at least when it comes to the off shoots. That was until I started playing Guitar Hero 5 and found that the difficulty has been toned WAY down; mainly in the way of lenience on the precision of button timing. I have played so many songs on expert and have been able to hit notes I should have never been physically able to hit do to timing and finger placement. Read More...

It was announced that yet another XBox 360 bundle will be hitting store shelves this fall. The XBox 360 Limited Edition Halo: Reach Bundle will contain a 360 Slim, two wireless controllers, a wireless headset, a standard copy of Halo: Reach, an episode of "Halo Legends" and a token for a limited edition elite armor.
