by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of August 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Silent Hill We get to tiptoe back into Silent Hill with a new trailer showing off some of the story coming in the Silent Hill 2 Remake It always feels weird to offer up a look at the story for a remake, but here we go with a new trailer for the Silent Hill 2 remake that is going to do just that. That is at least the title of it all, but it is more of a showcasing of how Bloober Team is taking what Konami did before and trying to make it their own. We still have the same town of Silent Hill to wander through and many of the same monsters, but here we can see how the characters have shifted a bit and get a nice recap of the basics of the story. Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic Is Bringing Us Some New Nightmares
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of August 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Five Nights At Freddy’s A new Five Nights At Freddy’s games is on the way with Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic getting announced As if the IP did not already have a whole slew of things out there or announced already, here we go with a teaser for Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic. Yes, it looks like Steel Wool Studios is not only leaning into the ten-year anniversary for the IP but also stepping on the release of another big game that is coming out later this week on August 8th. Maybe not stepping on, as the fans of Five Nights At Freddy’s will devour everything, but it feels odd to have a big title release along with a teaser for a new title that we will not see until 2025. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of July 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That certainly was a fun week with all kinds of video games and a lot of the SDCC build-up kicking off. Most of it has been some of the fun off-site events for the convention, but we do know that Marvel Rivals will have a good showing out there. I am sure we will have many other video games showing up too and we will just need to fill that time with some of the other video games we have right now. Games like Anger Foot, The Outlast Trials, and World War Z: Aftermath. Read More...

It Is Time To Kick It With A Whole Lot Of Gameplay For Anger Foot
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of July 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Anger Foot Just ahead of the launch of Anger Foot, we have a whole lot of new gameplay to get us all hyped up for Anger Foot’s launch We have had a whole lot of little looks at Anger Foot as we have been building up to the release on the PC tomorrow, July 11th, but it has not been a whole lot of gameplay in one sitting. Not a bad thing or slight against Free Lives, but for many out there, it does not build the most hype for the game. I guess that is why we are back one more time with Anger Foot with a whole lot of gameplay to enjoy. Read More...

Saborus Is Giving Us A Different Kind Of Slaughterhouse To Escape From
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of July 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Saborus Gameplay for the upcoming title Saborus is out there to show how terrible the Saborus company is when it comes to our meat I am sure that most of us out there never give a second thought about where our meat comes from and it looks like Saborus is going to try to change that a bit. Not in the way of a huge PSA to make everyone a vegan all of a sudden, but in a way to give us a perspective of the meat were are going to eat. More like, High Room Studio and QUByte Interactive are going to give us all a horror video game for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC where we are a chicken trying to escape our fate in said slaughterhouse. All while the workers of Saborus try to catch us and wrangle us all in. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we thought, this was going to be a wild week for video games even if it was going to be a bit on the slower side. Slower in terms of massive announcements after the big push not too long ago and that the holiday in the States would cause some other issues. Thankfully, We had some fun for Dead Rising, Anger Foot, and A Quiet Place drop on us all. Along with a whole lot of other fun for Marvel Rivals before we, most likely, will get some other updates during SDCC this year. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of July 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Anger Foot One last look at Anger Foot is out there to show how much progress has been made on Anger Foot since it was first announced We thought things had finally kicked off for Anger Foot as the development team took us a bit behind the scenes. It looks like we need to be booted in the head, as Free Lives is back to show us all what we are going to be getting on July 11th when the game lands on the PC. A bit of a behind-the-scenes for Anger Foot but also a great showing of how the team brought the game from concept to the final product that Devolver Digital is getting out there for them. Not only that but one more bit of gameplay to get hyped up for Anger Foot as we strap on our boots and get ready to go out and kick some things right in the face. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of July 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Benny’s Backrooms There is some gameplay for Benny’s Backrooms that we can have a look at even as we wait for Benny’s Backrooms to open up After a bit of time, we were finally able to escape and slip out this new trailer for Benny’s Backrooms. Okay, it might have slipped out before when GameName dropped it in the middle of a bunch of other titles getting dropped, but we were not going to let it slip into a different part of the Backrooms out there. This new horror title coming to the PC needs to have a bit of time to shine as it dives into the location while also giving us a look at how the gameplay of it all will function. So, put on your HAZMAT suits and get ready to see what other horrors are lying in wait in Benny’s Backrooms now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/24/24 — 6/28/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when we thought things might have slowed down after all of the video games announced and updated recently, we had another full week. A little on the slower side, but still a full one. I have a feeling that is to further build up to SDCC in the coming month along with making sure Terminator: Survivors and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are getting the correct highlight as they deserve. All while giving us more for Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and our review of Capes to be able to join the mix of the video games out there too. Read More...

By Grit Alone A new and dark VR title, By Grit Alone, is looking to take us into a world where we will only survive By Grit Alone Those looking for a new and terrifying VR title to experience might want to start to take note of By Grit Alone. This would be a title that Crooks Peak is working on for the Meta Quest 2 and 3, if you happen to have the hardware to experience it all.
