Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site One more week of video games in the bag and yet again we had a whole lot to talk about here. So many great announcements and updates where had as well as a few new games getting their official launch or heading into a form of beta or another. Of course there was a whole lot for Resident Evil 7 this week due to all of this but that is not to discount the Injustice 2 news and the fact that we are all gearing up for the Conan Exiles early access next week. Resident Evil The Resident Evil Escape Experience has announced a national tour to bring the real-world Resident Evil experience to even more fans out there While we hoped about it earlier in the week and the first time we were able to see Resident Evil get an escape room type of experience, it looks like those hopes and dreams are being fulfilled here as it has just been announced that there will now be a national tour. At least a North American national tour for it all as Capcom has not mentioned about taking it on the road outside of the States. None the less, it looks like there will be six more opportunities for gamers to try and get that real Resident Evil feel in a real escape room. Read More...

Avengers A new partnership has been announced and we are getting a new Avengers game from Marvel & Square Enix that will tell an original Avengers story in the vast universe There were some nice teases over the last few days on a new announcement coming from Marvel and Square Enix with a lot of speculation aimed at a "Marvel World" being in Kingdom Hearts III being the big news. It looks like all of that is completely wrong as now we know that it was all to announce the two giant's partnership and that we will be getting a full on video game for The Avengers sometime in the near-ish future. 2018 seems to be the year thrown around here but that doesn't stop it the excitement as there will be a nice big and flashy new Avengers game to be played out there in the mix of all of the other Marvel titles also on the way this year and the next. Resident Evil 7 The DLC for Resident Evil 7 now has some solid details and release dates even though Resident Evil 7 has just launched worldwide now Well, today is the day and Resident Evil 7 has launched out there in the world which would normally just mean that all we would get is a nice little update and a launch trailer to look at for those who were still holding out for the game. It's the usual way it goes but it looks like Capcom is mixing things up here as it looks like not only did they give us a rather telling launch trailer to gaze upon, but they also detailed out the first two major DLC packs that will be coming to Resident Evil 7 and one of them will be here in only a few short days. The Crow's Eye A teaser for The Crow's Eye has been released to show off the dark environments of The Crow's Eye that we'll have to survive and solve puzzles in In the mix of all of the big horror going on today in gaming, let's take a moment to look at a smaller title that will be coming soon here in the way of The Crow's Eye. This is a new little title for the PC that will be launching here in Q1 of this year from 3D2 Entertainment and Nkidu Games that places us in a shutdown medical university with a very dark history. So dark that it was shut down in the game's world due to a lot of unexplained disappearances of students, police officers, and professors. Read More...

Werewolf It has just been announced that Werewolf: The Apocalypse will be getting its own video game version for us to pretend to be a Werewolf out to save the world It seems like it wasn't that long ago that we were talking about a World Of Darkness MMO coming and then being canceled but now it looks like the universe is being brought back in video game form as we now have Werewolf: The Apocalypse getting the same treatment here. Yes, it looks like Paradox Interactive, the people who own the rights to the IPs, have given way for Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive to give bringing this part of the universe to life and hopefully success. Werewolf: The Apocalypse wouldn't be my own personal choice to come from the WoD here but at least it looks like they are still willing to give it a try and give gamers a taste of the table top games in the realm of the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Call Of Cthulhu A new trailer for Call Of Cthulhu has released and we get to see how far Pierce, Call Of Cthulhu's protagonist, will dive into madness Here we go with yet another interesting trailer for the upcoming Call Of Cthulhu game coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this year. We've had a few good viewings of the game so far but here we get to see the level of madness that Cyanide Studios is crafting for us here in the game as well as a bit more of the story we will help unfold. Not only that, but as Call Of Cthulhu's character generally go insane no matter the medium you play it in, we also get to see what I am guessing is some of harsher stuff that the game's protagonist will go through as he investigates the weirdness going on in the game's world. Resident Evil 7 The season pass for Resident Evil 7 has been given a bit more detail for those who want more Resident Evil 7 before the end of the year With only a few more days until Resident Evil 7, we have a lot of excitement and fear to get in check. January 24th is just around the corner and we've seen a whole lot more for the game from Capcom and there is of course still a whole lot more we are only going to get when the game lands. It also looks like three is a whole lot more coming to Resident Evil 7 after it launches and into the rest of the year. Friday The 13th New gameplay for Friday The 13th: The Game has been released and brings us the Misfits' song Friday The 13th & we get another Jason We just past the first Friday The 13th of the year and while Friday The 13th: The Game did officially release on the date there, that doesn't mean that Gun Media didn't have something to share out to the world to celebrate the date and its correlation to the game and franchise. Resident Evil 7 A newly licensed candle for Resident Evil 7 has popped up and aims to bring a 4D experience to Resident Evil 7 through VR as well as scent If you were starting to get brave enough to give Resident Evil 7 a play through in VR, or you already have, then it is time to try and up the ante here again. As it turns out, Capcom has another way to trick the senses here for the game as they have joined forces with merchandiser Numskull to bring a candle to us for the game. Styx A new cinematic trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has released and it shows off a bit of Styx's stealth tactics and mayhem he can create in the process We are all still waiting for a solid release date for Styx: Shards Of Darkness as March is still the only part of the date still set out there but that doesn't mean that the videos and fun have to stop. Of course not and that is just what Cyanide Studios has brought us here yet again for the game with a new trailer aimed to highlight the thing we know Styx is good at; Stealth. I mean, his last title was named Master Of Shadows and with a name like that, not to mention how the game actually played, stealth was his strong suit and I know I was able to put it to some amazing use from start until the end. Resident Evil 7 A new trailer for Resident Evil 7 has popped up online and it shows off a good chunk of Resident Evil 7's horror aspect as well as a few other things There is nothing like a good dose of Horror to wake us up in the morning and that is just what we have here for Resident Evil 7 in its new trailer for the game. It may not be the jump-scare and gore that you may be thinking of, but it is a nice look at the horror that Capcom has put together to bring the franchise back to its roots in the genre. Resident Evil 7 has been getting more and more attention for just that and since the demo popped up for all to experience now it has only been escalating more as we get ever so closer to the January 24th release date.
