Not too terrible with the launch of The Expanse here after SDCC and more for Mortal Kombat 1 and Baldur’s Gate 3 taking a little bit of the extra shine for us all too. More for all of that and things not specifically video games should be on the way to keep that ball rolling. Maybe next week we will get all manner of new information. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of August 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Dust & Neon More platform releases for Dust & Neon have been announced to round out all of the main platforms Dust & Neon will hit Those trigger fingers should still be ready here for Dust & Neon, as the game is coming to even more platforms out there. It may have felt like this was one of those titles that Rogue Games would have hit all the platforms right out of the gate, but only hit the various PC stores and the Switch. Now, at least on August 17th, those looking to have fun with Dust & Neon on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will have that chance. That is when the game is set to come out blasting on the other platforms in full form and with a few more things that we might not have known were on the way already. Read More...

Venom Attacked Us At SDCC With More For Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of July 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man One more look at Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 happened out at SDCC along with a panel showing off a bit more for this Spider-Man title We all knew Venom was coming at us in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and out of SDCC this year, we have a lot more to see and listen to about the game and character. I mean, Insomniac Games were able to get Tony Todd to do the voice, so they are going to want to show all of that off before the launch of the game on October 20th this year on the PS5. Which, of course, they do while talking about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 during the panel out at the con. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/10/23 — 7/14/23
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of July 2023 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over and we can jump back into the various video games we have out there right now. We are going to need a nice little bit of downtime before SDCC kicks off. A nice little convention still going down in the mix of all of the strikes, but when we look forward to Mortal Kombat 1, Silent Hill: Ascension, and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 more than the actors and writers of the film/TV industry, you have a lot more to look forward to. More so with what we can share with you at the beginning of the week, the convention is going down. Read More...

Take Another Look Inside Ourselves For Silent Hill: Ascension
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Silent Hill Go behind the scenes for Silent Hill: Ascension with a look at how this new Silent Hill story could be shaped out there There is still a lot we do not know about Silent Hill: Ascension and just how it will flow out there when it does on the PS5 and PC, but we are back with a little more to try to fill in some details. Details I have a feeling will be filled out during SDCC this year, but that is a future update to write about. Here, though, we get to go behind the scenes of it all with Genvid to see just how they are bringing Silent Hill to life again and try to figure out how this collective narrative will play out. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It seems like things have slowed down a bit around here for all of the video games and other tidbits of news out there. Even if we did have some fun stuff for Mortal Kombat 1 again and a new character on the way to Street Fighter 6 added into the mix. We also cannot forget that Nicolas Cage is now in the Dead By Daylight fun of it all with many more updates to come. All of this being the calm before the storm of the next wave with SDCC.
