Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It was a short week but still one filled with all manner of video games out there for us all to enjoy. Nothing overly groundbreaking or mind-blowing, but we did have some stuff to keep us going. Last Year The next chapter of Last Year is on its way with a touching story behind everything that has happened with the team behind Last Year About this time in 2018, we all had a chance to have a look at Last Year as it dropped on the up and coming storefront over on Discord. Well, at least, we had a short chance to as we and Elastic Games watched as their project fell into the wastes as the storefront went away. It was a sad time and many that fell in love with Last Year were left in the lurch wanting to see the game make a comeback. Before now, there was no real word on it all, but we can now see that we will be able to play the next chapter of the story over on Steam as well as pick up the original there again if you were left wanting from the Discord fallout. Samurai Shodown A release window is set down for Samurai Shodown for the Switch and it looks like we can expect Samurai Shodown to hit there in Q1 Many gamers have had a chance to enjoy Samurai Shodown for a while now, but those pesky Switch gamers seem to have been left out for a bit longer. I am sure there are some good reasons for that and SNK is working on it. Why wouldn't they want as many fans out there enjoying their game? Ghostbusters We sit down and review Superliminal. A game to focuses on forced perspective for puzzles. Here is our review of Superliminal It has been some time since we had a good puzzle game out there to play now it is time for Superliminal to take a shot at giving us all something we have been longing for. For those that may not have been following along, this would be the latest game from Pillow Castle Games that aims to use forced perspective to drive the puzzles and paths in the game. Tamarin The Xbox One will now be getting Tamarin with this version of Tamarin launching on the console in 2020 If you were feeling like you were going to be left out of the fun of Tamarin as it was only announced for the PS4 and PC back when we first caught wind, then you can start to rejoice as it looks like it will be heading to the Xbox One now. Maybe you have heard of the game or not, but it does not change the fact that there will be a new platforming title over on the Xbox from Chameleon Games with all kinds of power behind it. Wolfenstein The biggest update for Wolfenstein: Youngblood is here to add in some new maps and enemies for Wolfenstein: Youngblood to keep it fresh If you have been looking for more to do in Wolfenstein: Youngblood, then your wait is now over as we have one more big update for the game now. One that has just hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game and will be coming to the Switch version when that one finally drops. No, we are not just talking in terms of basic updates and patches that we have seen multiple times over from Machine Games thus far, but an update that adds in a whole lot to this Wolfenstein title. We Happy Few The final DLC for We Happy Few is about to come at us and add in few new ways to play and enjoy We Happy Few for the final time It looks like all of our Joy is coming to an end as we have the final DLC for We Happy Few coming at us on November 19th here on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That is a fun play on words as I know I have been having fun with what Compulsion Games has offered us for the game to date, but it looks like this new DLC will be eliminating the drug Joy in the world and possibly bring the world crashing down for everyone out there. Jumanji The launch of Jumanji: The Video Game is here and we can all join up to take on the dangers of Jumanji with all of those iconic characters again Today is the big day for Jumanji: The Video Game as it has now launched out there for us all and we have one more trailer to look at to see if it will sway us away from other games that may have just launched. Superliminal The release date for Superliminal is set down and this puzzler will soon be teaching us why it is called Superliminal The market for good puzzle games has felt a little dry as of late, which is why I am glad to see that Superliminal is on its way and launching at us on November 12th for the PC. I know this is going to leave some of you gamers out given how you like to play, but if you want to see more from Pillow Castle Games then you will have to get behind this one. Death Stranding The first half an hour of Death Stranding is out there to try to explain more on what we will be experiencing in Death Stranding Some of us out there cannot wait for Death Stranding to launch tomorrow (11/8) on the PS4 and that is why we are here right now. There are only mere hours until the game drops out there as of this writing and the hype for Kojima Productions first solo title is still so high that we now have the opening minutes to the game out there to further that along or turn people off to the game. My guess is that it is going to be the former as there has been a lot of hype for Death Stranding and I do not see that halting anytime soon. Origins will be offering in 2021 For those wondering what an alternate Cold War in the 1980s would look like in Stealth Shooter form… we have I.G.I. Origins to look at again here to scratch that itch. Maybe you have heard of the title before or maybe you have not.
