by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 31st of July 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Peacefest The Peacefest brought so much to SDCC 2025 to entertain & to allow Peacefest to help usher in Peacemaker season 2 There was a whole lot of hype for Peacefest before we all went out to SDCC 2025, even to the point that tickets for it were so popular that the server crashed for it all. This was not some new or massive con that was going on instead of SDCC, but a fun little off-site event to further hype us all up for the upcoming season 2 of Peacemaker on HBO Max. More of a specialized version of SDCC with Peacefest focusing mainly on the man of the hour. There were many things available for the event, and we were invited to check them all out as it unfolded. by Jana Lass [ Monday, 14th of July 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Peacefest Peacemaker and IT: Welcome To Derry are on the way to SDCC, and Peacefest is going to give us all a fun experience to enjoy in the fandom With a fun twist of events, it looks as if Peacemaker and IT: Welcome To Derry will be making a bit of a show out at SDCC this year. There was a lot of conversation about how HBO and Warner Bros. were not planning on bringing much to the convention this year. That all seems to only be in terms of the films, with both shows having a panel and screening. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of July 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Disney All of the Disney IPs are on the way for us at SDCC 2025 with many events, experiences, and panels from Disney Entertainment Television With all of the weird mergers going on out there, it is nice to see that Disney is still going to bring so many of their IPs back to SDCC this year. Some of them, we all might not even know that were part of the new-ish umbrella, but will have a massive presence out there. Some of them will just be basic photo-ops, others will be panels, and others will have some extra events and parties going down for them. Even if a lot of them might not be the main IPs one would think of, but all under the Disney Entertainment Television banner. Read More...

Comic-Con Those looking to go to this year's San Diego Comic-Con still have a chance as well as giving to the Comic-Con Museum It is no big secret that we hit up San Diego Comic-Con every year and those who have been looking to join in all of the fun might also know how hard it is to get out there for it. It is the thing of online jokes and memes every year, but it looks like there is still a chance for those who might be interested in joining the fun but did not make it through the many different lotteries to get a pass. Yeah, you will not have to miss out on all of the fun video games and other pop culture things that are always out there at San Diego Comic-Con each year, as long as you are willing to help out and Become a Legend with the museum that also happens to be out there in the area. SDCC 2017 Experience — Blade Runner 2049
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Blade Runner While out at SDCC we had a chance to check out the Blade Runner 2049 off-site event. Here's what we experienced for Blade Runner 2049 at SDCC 2017 Given that Blade Runner 2049 will be hitting theaters soon, October 6th, it makes sense that there would be a big thing out at SDCC to show it all off and build even more hype for the film. A big thing it was too as one of the larger parking lots near the convention center was taken over by a massive tent that only displayed the film's name but held many fun things inside; that is if you were willing to wait in the extremely long lines to get in. Thankfully though, the Blade Runner 2049 experience out there was handled rather well and offered up two different experiences for fans to check out. Read More...

SDCC 2017 Experience — The Tick Takeover
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of July 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Tick While out at SDCC we had a chance to check out The Tick Takeover off-site event. Here's what we experienced for The Tick Takeover at SDCC 2017 Out at San Diego Comic Con there was a huge push for The Tick's new live action TV series and all the bells and whistles that go with that. It makes perfect sense given the source material coming from the pages of the comics, the convention in general, and the fact that Amazon would really want to push to get as many people looking at the new show as possible. That is of course why they took over a large portion of the off-site real estate out there and set up The Tick Takeover for fans new and old to come and experience what the show would be bringing and also give us all kind of a real world video game to play in the mix. Here's what you may or may not have been able to experience out there all from the perceptions of the team here. Read More...
