A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games What a week we have had in video games here huh? We had Fallout 4 officially announced. We had XCOM 2officially announced. We had a whole lot of Batman: Arkham Knight news and videos. We even were able to get a whole bunch more on some new video game characters in the way of Overwatch and Drawn To Death. All of those characters have yet to be seen in a video games as of yet so they are all knew to us and deserving of the time. The first major character bio for Drawn To Death has been released out to the world and it details Drawn To Death's Johnny Savage with moves and a bit of backstory Up until now we have had a very basic story and character breakdown for Drawn To Death. Bartlet Jones has given us some between last year's PSX show and now but nothing too substantial. I'm guessing this is partly because they were still working on all of the kinks and partly because they wanted to have something amazingly over the top to show off at E3. Pre-orders for Hatred are now closed but those who took the chance will be able to play Hatred earlier than they thought Update It looks like Destructive Creations jumped the gun and pre-ordered version of Hatred will NOT be playable until June 1st. There is a new gameplay trailer for Hatred as well as a solid release date for the game that has caused so much controversy Love the idea or hate the idea, Hatred now has a solid release date. Well at least for right now Destructive Creations is 99% sure that the release date for Hatred will be June 1st on the PC via Steam. The people over at the Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency have been very adamant on keeping all of the fans in the loop as they can. Hatred is now available for pre-order as well as has some new gameplay for you all to hate on again Hate it or not, Hatred is getting released as an AO title for PC and there seems to be no stopping it. I see this as a good thing but the whole "Hatred debate" bullshit has been done to death and I wish the main character could show up and perform a finishing move on it. Ultra-violent game Hatred has been Greenlit on Steam despite the outcry and disgust from the gaming community For a game like Hatred that has been getting a lot of hatred, pardon the puns this time, it seems odd that if all of it was true then the game would not have been approved by Steam's Greenlight project. Yes, Hatred has reached the appropriate level of positive votes and it is now greenlit to be on Steam once Destructive Creations actually finishes building the game. It looks like all of that "negative" press the game was getting finally made this title get the steam roller momentum, pun not intended, so we will be seeing Hatred on our PCs via Steam in 2015. There has been a content update for #killallzombies that adds in a few more weapons, Twitch commands, and new zombosses for the PS4 It's a rare thing when a game like #killallzombies captures my eye and truly keeps me coming back into the mix to do just what the game's title states. I was thrilled with the original idea that Beatshapers threw out there. I thought it would be a title that I played a little bit, generally enough for a full review, and then never pick up again. #killallzombies has proven me wrong as it is one of the few titles I drift back to when I don't have to keep covering all of the other games that keep coming out. It appears that everyone is now singing different tunes for Hatred as it is now back on Steam Greenlight If reports are true it looks like Hatred is now back up on Steam Greenlight thanks to Gabe Newell… Or publicity stunt… Or shady practices by Destructive Creations… Or Korean hackers… Or hopefully you get the picture by now. None of that of course changes the fact that you can again vote for Hatred to be published on Steam now or try and crush the hopes of at least 27,000 hopeful gamers out there. Hatred was up on Steam's Greenlight for a few hours before being removed and declared not to be published by Valve So this was going to originally be about Hatred being up on Steam Greenlight but as I began to wrap the final keystrokes it would seem that the game has been pulled down. Yes, Hatred was up for community vote on Steam's service to be published but, like I said, it was only there for a few hours before it was taken down for the voting and an official statement was released from Valve on the whole situation.
