MADD Wants GTAIV To Have ESRB Rating Boosted to AO

So here we go with Mass Effect style slander, but this time instead of Fox News, we get it from MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). Most likely without ever playing GTA IV, which is reflected in their statement below "where players have to drive drunk", MADD demands the ESRB to raise the game's rating to AO (Adults Only) and requests Rockstar cease publishing of the game. Spyro movie pwning theatres near you!

Variety says Spyro movie is in the works. If you didn't know, the Spyro franchise is having a new game roll out for it's Decaversay. That's 10th for those who don't get me here. It looks like it could be pretty decent if they continue on the path there are on now. Good news for any of you out there that loved the game and wished for another. A Message From Positron – 4 Year Anniversary! So looking at the two titles that come with this Narticle, it may be a little hard to get what is going on in this one. That was the point. MWAHAHAHAHAHA! Yes, I can be a villain sometimes. But here we go. On the Official City of Heroes Forum Boards, lead designer Matt Miller made a nice long post about the 4 year anniversary of the game. He goes on about how the game has grown since it launched back in 2004 and continues to thank the users for keeping it in the lime light for so long. First online review of GTA IV hits the Internet

IGN posted their full review of the game this morning, which spans seven pages and ends in them awarding the game a 10 out of 10. "Hang in one area of the city long enough and you'll see how traffic and pedestrian flow changes as the day progresses. When it rains, people bring out umbrellas or shield themselves with a newspaper and run for an awning. Cops chase petty thieves unaware that walking down the street is Niko Bellic, cold-blooded killer. Brett Favre To Be On Cover of Madden NFL '09

Brett Favre announced at the end of his recent appearance on Letterman that he will be on the cover of Madden NFL '09, the franchise's 20th installment. Brett Favre is a 3 time MVP, a 7 time Pro Bowl selection and 2007's Sports Illustrated Sportsman Of The Year. Favre also lays claim to many NFL records, to include Career Passing Touchdowns (with 442) and Career Passing Yards (with 61,655). This is one of the NFL's greatest honors, but also one of the most cursed for active players as almost all the prior cover athletes have been injured or poor performances during the season they were on the cover. Kotaku is reporting that the PAL version of GTA IV for the Xbox 360 may have been leaked: At around 11:50am Greenwich Mean Time, the PAL version of Grand Theft Auto IV for the Xbox 360 was ripped and leaked to various torrent sites by a [group] called iCON… YouTube clips have been popping up online of the game’s opening and early missions — but as of posting, many of the clips have been taken down. More Good Stuff For MGO So it looks like my hopes for this are actually right for once. Here's another video that shows that the debacle with Konami and getting this whole thing set up should be worth it all. The video here is actual game play from a bunch of people in Japan. Mario Theme Played with RC Car and Bottles This was just too awesome to not talk about. Once you watch it, you will be in total agreement. Or I will just be that jerk that said you would...please don't make me that jerk. :) Like the description says, a group of guys got together and actually set it up so they could drive an RC car and play the legendary theme using just wine bottles and metal things. It is really good up until it gets to the dual bottle section. Then it takes a little bit of listening to keep the theme going. Read More...
