After playing the first Saints Row for more hours than I can possibly count, I’ve been extremely excited since the announcement of Saints Row 2 coming in 2008.  After one delay, which has pushed the game back to October 14 2008, I about lost my mind.  But I would not have to wait that long to at least get a test run, and this is where PAX 2008 comes into play.    After a short five minute play through during the media time on Friday, I knew I had to get back and play the full first mission of Saints Row. Much anticipated Valve game, Left 4 Dead, has been pushed back until November 20th. At least this is still in time for the holiday season, so you can eat your christmas cookies while blastig zombies away. At least I know I will be! According to the upcoming DKS3713 issue of Famitsu magazine, The upcoming PS3 demo of Final Fantasy XIII will clock in at a longer running time than the CGI film, Final Fantasy Advent Children. The original version of Advent Children is about 101mins long. The Blu-Ray version will feature scenes that were either cut out or not finished in time for the final release.     Here is a list of other tidbits revealed from the three-page spread in Famitsu: -The Final Fantasy XIII demo will be based from the opening section of the game. -The demo will come on a separate disc rather than on the Advent Children Blu-ray. Valve announced today that there will be a "Heavy Update" in TF2 next week. it is said to be "the largest update to Team Fortress 2 since it was first released". It will bring with it new maps, new Achievements, new game modes and a special installment of the "Meet the Team" video series. Mark Wahlberg, the guy playing Max Payne in the up coming movie has said in a recent interview that he has never actually played Max Payne before.     "I got more responsibility now than I've ever had with the kids and everything else. I don't want to be spending 14 hours on the videogame and then eight hours on the set. Today, Midway announced the release of an all-new gameplay FIGHT video for the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe videogame. Along with the FIGHT video, four additional characters have been confirmed for the famous roster including The Joker, Kitana, Jax and Green Lantern.This latest, in-depth video showcases the innovative fighting mechanics found in Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, including Klose Kombat, an up-close brutal fighting mechanic that shows progressive damage on each fighter and Freefall Kombat, giving players the ability to engage in kombat as they fall from one arena down to the next.
